    • Most of the more severe illnesses happen to people because an upsetting event occurs in their lives taking them by surprise, unexpectedly, impacting first in the brain, then in the corresponding organ which that part of the brain controls. The end of WWI had absolutely everything to do with the Flu and lung TB outbreak that occurred killing millions. In nature, the biological conflict linked with a territorial fear (just what it means-a fear in your territory, your home, your community, etc.) is a widening of the bronchia (tissue loss). Your body attempts to widen your bronchia in order to allow more air into your lungs to give you more strength and energy to fight to keep your territory safe. Stay with me.......The biological conflict linked with a death fright impacts the lungs. The lungs attempt to grow larger in order to allow more air in because breath equals life, as we all know. No breath equals death. While you are in the fear or death fright conflict, you notice no symptoms of “disease”, except you have cold hands, cold feet, you can’t sleep, you awaken at 3 AM every night, you have little appetite. During the war, millions of people were in fear of the bombing of their homes and cities where the war was most active. Fearing for their lives, their loved ones in the war, their ability to survive. The food in the stores was sparse due to shortages. This lasted for 4 long years! The longer the conflict, the worse the healing phase. Within 2 weeks of the German Chancellor announcing the end of WWI, these millions of people ALL went into the healing phase all at the same time. It is during the healing phase that you experience symptoms of illness! What is the healing phase of the bronchia widening? Severe bronchitis, pneumonia. The body attempts to refill this lost tissue and you experience inflammation, fever, coughing, body aches, fatigue, etc. What is the healing phase of the extra lung tissue that grew? Decomposing of the tissue by TB bacteria and fungi. The symptoms of this healing phase are: severe coughing up of blood and tissue, fever, inflammation, severe mucous, body aches, fatigue. During this decomposing of the extra tissue (tumor), the body expels a lot of protein, and without replenishment, severe protein loss can result in death. Antibiotics did not exist yet. If TB bacteria does not exist in a person or they have been vaccinated against TB (big mistake), then the tumor will simply encapsulate and become dormant and not harm you. Who died during the Spanish Flu? Mainly the poor who could not afford to buy meat and proper nourishment, and the people who were directly impacted by the bombings and destruction of their homes. Millions of people suffered fear and death frights during the fighting of WWI, and millions of people all went into healing at the end of it. Not everyone was affected because not everyone suffered the same way. It’s not a “flu”, it’s not something you “catch”. It’s biological, meaningful, and unavoidable. One hundred years later, a Fear Campaign begins, using the media to spread it......

And that look on his face when he says "Wait" to one of the other passengers. You just know that he's about to go ballistic. And while he is clearly both good at his job, and obviously also so secure in himself that you know he would be a good man in a crisis, I still tend to think that he's got it all wrong and should have opted for a career as a comedian on movies. He would have put any rival against the wall from the get go.

    • Narcissists will ALWAYS find a way to "fight" and become butt-hurt and play the victim because it always have to be about them. Just the fact that this flight attendant is so funny and people are loving his routine can cause a narcissistic injury to one of them. Your mistake is that you don't seem to understand that there are people with characterological disorders who genuinely believe the rules and laws of society and the social contract apply to everyone else BUT them....and they do not give a damn if they infect you, your family, your kids, or even if you have to be hospitalized and/or intubated, or even if you die. Narcissists are incapable of empathy for others. Narcissists are incapable of true remorse. Narcissists are incapable of feeling bad about or guilty for the harm they've cost to others...even if they were the cause of your children being orphaned. You probably can't imagine that there are people in the world who are TRULY like this probably because you are a very decent human being yourself, and it's just too foreign and fantastick for you to imagine that there are MILLIONS of these individuals in the world. Yet, it is also true. You can never apply your own moral compass and basic human decency to someone with a characterological disorder (narcissists, borderlines, histrionics, antisocials aka sociopaths and psychopaths) because their moral compasses are so warped and twisted, they actually ENJOY the harm they cause to others. ...and this is based on many decades of academic research, so this isn't my subjective opinion.

There have been survivors of crashes where the plane has been on fire, and with the smoke, no one could see where to go at all. Getting passengers through a crash alive if at all possible depends on the flight crew, not the passengers.

      @su-rv2uq@su-rv2uq2 жыл бұрын
    • @a I was a cabin crew at 3 different airlines and as much as I hate to burst your bubble, I have to tell you that even the best cabin crew might be unable to evacuate a plane if the passengers are blissfully ignorant about safety features, equipment but most of all about the location and eventual opening of the emergency exits. The number of crew is limited, passengers are usually many, and more often than not time is crucial. You better memorize the exact number of rows to the nearest emergency exit( in case of dense smoke) and familiarize with the opening method of named exit. It’s good to have a second option, too in case of fire at the first one, etc. Crashes don’t happen that often, but if it ever happens, you wouldn’t want to be unprepared as your life depends on this knowledge. Plus, the nearest cabin crew might be dead/incapacitated and you might need to act instead of them to save others, apart from yourself. And you might only have a few seconds to act. If something goes wrong, you usually don’t have a lot of time. Stay blessed everyone and be street wise!

    • Thats concerning but even more the fact so many people liked your comment, because then if an sccident happens, people complain "nobody told them" how to do certain things. Everytime I fly only a few people pay attention to them and it's sad. The info they provide could save your life and the life of others next to you.

    • @@Karincl7 Dude everyone knows if shit goes sideways, you are dead anyways. You are sitting in a pressurized aluminium pipe filled with thousands gallons high explosive and high flammable kerosin moving at 900 kmh in 10K meters height. If you are going to crash, no safety training you recieved for 3 minutes will save you in any way.

    • Ok, for the two people who are shocked: when you've seen the safety measures once, you don't pay attention to them anymore (they're exactly the same), AND as said in another comment if there IS a problem and the plane crashes, the probability of you surviving and THEN be able to apply safety measures is quite slim. Now, is there anything else you're offended about?

  • This guy did a great job. Delivering the safety demo in a humorous way gets people's attention, and they will remember what to do in an emergency.

  • The happy feeling this man brought to the entire cabin most likely persisted for the entire flight. I cannot imagine very many passengers becoming obstreperous after such a happy start to the flight. Many airlines should pay attention and make an effort to foster good feelings right off the bat. It would probably diffuse negative energy and calm down agitated passengers.

    • @Elle Caledonia Absolutely, this was so enjoyable to watch, as someone with anxiety over flying, this would have certainly made me feel more comfortable! Its also so nice to see people so obviously enjoying their jobs. Especially during such crazy uncertain times as these, working with nervous or unhappy people is always a challenge. There's only so much we can do, but adding a little love and humor to a tense or uncomfortable situation is always the best thing.

    • I"ve been studying, speaking, then teaching English for decades. I lived and worked in the UK for years to the point I've mastered understanding most if not all British accents. (Not speaking in them though. Everyone has their limits.) I've been told many times my command of English is better than most native speakers (which I'm not). You, sir, are the very first person I've never met (and ever have) who's used the word "obstreperous". In all those years, I have never even been aware of it. How empty my life must have been! :D It is a bit less so now. Thank you!
