I think this comes down to MMA organizations being better at promoting women’s fighting. Shields probably sees more opportunities to be promoted and get paid compared to boxing.

Even Floyd is a novice to MMA and would be lucky to get out of there with no limbs broken and smashed, before getting KO'ed with a head kick or chocked out. If they get in a boxing ring or ufc cage wearing those UFC gloves, no matter the rules, Nunes wins in both scenarios. If they get in a ring and fight with regulation gloves, Shields should be favored? But there is no one in women's boxing that has power like Nunes. If there is a knockout in the fight Nunes will be the one winning by KO. Shields can only win on points, she does not have knockout power. Boxing is my favorite sport, but I have never seen a female fighter in boxing or the ufc with the form, with the power, and the killer instinct that Nunes has! And to be honest, I didn't want to like her, but her skills are undeniable.

You are wrong, she is not tge strongest female MMA fighter. On the two occasions that Nunez fought Valentina Schevchenko, Valentina beat her on both occasions but Valentina got rubbed... Meanwhile, Nunez can only fight actively for 25minutes because that was what she trained her body condition for, so she can't go head to head with Claressa for 12 rounds in boxing ring without getting smashed or brutally KO...

But if she goes, Clarisse which is used to score points through quick, but light bumps (like Shevchenko) will come to an end. The only thing that can save her is that there is no finishing in Boxing. I think this comes down to MMA organizations being better at promoting women’s fighting. Shields probably sees more opportunities to be promoted and get paid compared to boxing.
That's because boxers don't have the balls to go into a octagon. They would all get smoked and rightly so. How can a novice compete with a professional. Even Floyd is a novice to MMA and would be lucky to get out of there with no limbs broken and smashed, before getting KO'ed with a head kick or chocked out. Just a good leg kick will put off a great boxer.
