This is Damian Aspinall's daughter who has spent her entire life around these Gorilla's, she has literally been going in there with them since she was a baby. She and her father have an amazing bond with them and they do amazing work rehabilitating and rewilding animals. Some of the comments on here would be rethought if a bit of research was done on who these people are.

I have a pet Rhinoceros (I'm not kidding) which most people would be afraid of but he's the kindest and most gentle creature. He loves to sneak up on other creatures and startle them.

This is Damian Aspinalls daughter. I believe her name is Freya. Her father started thr Aspinall Foundation a gorilla sanctuary. Shes been around these Gorillas her whole life. They do amazing work at the sanctuary I recommend everyone to do some research on the topic

I'm not sure about gorillas, but apes will rip you apart piece by piece if they see you giving one of them something and not giving it to the rest of them.

Is that a silverback? Looks like an elderly female to me. I know you can see a bit of silver on the back of the head/neck but females can have that too, especially once they're past 40. If this is a silverback he's lost a ton of muscle mass. Also I am not sure it would be nearly as safe to be that close to a silverback, let alone actually lay up against one. I know this girl is 3rd generation "gorilla whisperer" but still. I still envy her beyond words and certainly am no less impressed, I just have trouble believing this is a silverback.
