Sharing is caring and all that but these big dogs can be greedy and it appears grumpy too! Niko is not happy at all that everyone gets some chicken, she's very moody and wants it all to herself. Poor Milo sitting patiently to eat his Morsels and even Kodi has a go at him. Niko is a very bossy and dog, she acts like she's in charge but when the boys had enough of her shenanigans they would eventually put her in her place but you know what they say, happy wife happy life so they keep her sweet. Another thrilling night in the malamute manor of course, feeding your pets chicken nuggets after a short obedience check! No feelings were hurt in the making of this video.

“All da nuggetz is minez”!!! Says Niko. My cat is usually very well behaved. Except when lasagna or baked ziti is involved. Something about ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan makes her lose her manners. And her mind. She once stole a whole chicken Parmesan and ran under the bed with it.

@@grizzfan08 no her name is onyx. She’s pitch black with bright green eyes. Her fur feels like silk and she’s polydactyl. And on her feet as well. I guess the extra thumbs help her steal food and open cabinets to swipe her snacks.

Emma what a wonderful video. Teddy did an excellent job. He held out for a long time last time. I remember Shane would balance 6 treats on Phil's nose and he wouldn't move. Niko sounds so ferous. Milo looked back and forth, really? Don't take me wrong about everyone just wait. Kodi thinks like a kitten. As we just saw he will become quite large as his species does. He's happy in the toy box then wham.

FYI, as a general rule of thumb to cat owners... it's extremely poor form to take food away from an ADULT feline once they have it.. it should only be done if the food is dangerous / poisonous etc. Socially, it can harbor resentment from them towards the human as felines have an instinctual imprint that marks food they are eating as their "prey" or captured hunt etc. When you take food away from an adult cat, it is effectively seen as a grave insult to them. Numerous social studies on cat behavior have been done regarding this and it is generally advised to not take away food from adult cat that is ACTIVELY eating it as it can degrade their emotional bond to you for having insulted them (again.. unless the food is poison / hurting them etc... which I guess a Mcnugget is poison.. so... it was wise to take it away heh).

That's the perfect exercise to establish you're the alpha/leader of the pack. They're not really pleased with the teachings by the way they're giving you the side eye, but that's the very reason that exercise is so important. Nice positive handling!

Did you notice the words "leave it"? Those are words that are used in training a dog. She is not antagonizing the dog but rather training it to be patient and wait for further commands. Those who train dogs know that this is an exercise in patience, obedience, and training.
