  • This was a battle where the Whermacht teamed up with the U.S. Army and fought against the SS. The United States didn't team up with Nazis, they teamed up with the German army and fought against them.

  • I learned about Castle Itter from Sabaton. Though, I believe the title should be changed. Saying those Germans were Nazis is disgraceful. The commander of the Germans actually got killed while saving the ex-primeminister of France, Paul Reynard

  • well, if you take a look at the Wehrmacht, they were really just the military, i think a lot of them did not want to follow the nazi regime, many of them were just soldiers. the SS, though, were essentially hitler’s personally paramilitary. so if you take a closer look at the germans fighting with the US during this battle, you’ll see why.
