  • Fun fact: The Tusken Raiders find water sacred and that it only belongs to them, that’s why they’re so hostile, so giving it to boba was the biggest complement

The reason they’re hostile is because they don’t like ordinary people coming into their territory without asking, but because most people don’t speak Tuskan, it just ends in bloodshed. Honestly can't blame them at this point since even I don't see a) why Boba even wants to become a warlord and b) why anyone should take him seriously since he has no crew but one assassin and two Gamorreans who just stumbled into his service. A Daiymo withou samurai would not have lasted long in feudal Japan, so I'm curious to see how Boba remedies this deficiency.

      @davidm4566@davidm45662 жыл бұрын
    • I don't know about that. They could have just easily taken the credits out and then put on the helmet or there may have even been the possibility that they declined the helmet servicing in the first place. I think they just think of different ways to have boba with his helmet off in the series so that Temuera Morrison can have more facetime. (Just like in the Mandalorian when they changed Din Djarin's no taking helmet off tradition so Pedro Pascal could have more facetime on screen) But this is just my opinion.

In the story, a young Martian comes to earth and teaches earthlings his ways, one of which being “Water Brothers” and the concept of Grok, to understand so much as to become one with something. I found it cool that the Tribe Chief shared his “Water” with Bobba like a “Water Brother” after Bobba proved himself in the ways of the sand.

  • A nice detail I believe I caught. The theme for this series with the deep male choir evokes the Mando'a songs we hear as the theme such as "Vode an" in Star Wars Republic Commando the videogame. In lore, the "Vode an" song we hear in the game is a galactasized version of the old Mandalorian songs, changing things in the lyrics for example to "Coruscanta a'den mhi Vode an" as in "We the wrath of Coruscant, Brothers all" reflecting the fact that the commandos are soldiers of the Republic but are essentially Mandalorians in their training and traditions (because the finest soldiers were trained ruthlessly by real Mandalorians accepted by Jango). As Boba is in the same sort of ordeal as the commandos (miss you Sev), he is a clone bread in a pod, but trained and raised as a Mandalorian the choir and theme really pay homage to that whole idea.

So yes, he actually had a water tax on moisture farmers. The reason we’ve never seen them before is because Obi-Wan actually protected Luke and the Lars family from the collectors. Its very likely he and some stormtroopers were sent there by Vader to question and kill them and Boba Fett was the one who annihilated them especially since in ANH there is a scene where Boba Fett is with Jabba on Tatooine right before Luke and Obi-Wan leave with Han and Chewy.
