    • @@Slogan6024 it wouldn't be nearly as heavy as you'd think, chiefs armor from infinite is more than doable with 3mm thick metal. You'd just need to give if the right compound curves to make an illusion of thickness. Or just cast it if its aluminum, that'd be way easier to get small detail. • Helmets are due to head shape, not volume. The issue with fitting 13:50 has been with the helmets shape & design. Circumferences are not what's needed for sculpture in the round as they don't tell the full story about shape. I learned this the hard way myself so I just got rid of 3D printing helmets a long time ago & now cast large silicone molds based on specific measurements. Custom made helmets are just the way to go. This is such a great video. The team should tackle the Robocop HUD helmet.

  • @Hacksmith Industries okay so you made the HUD for multiple helmets so why not implement that into the power loader design whilst also adding extra artillery(not actual bullets but potato guns maybe) and armour, how it will work is the HUD will connect to outside cameras or create multiple AR screens so that you can control most of the power loaders features and have a protective shell surrounding the 'cockpit' or torso so that you are protected.

  • This project is really cool, as with a lot of your videos I've watched. One thing that could have elevated this even higher (and would need to tie into the rifle as well) would be being able to track the aim of the rifle as well, so the cross-hair would show up where the rifle was actually aiming. (Maybe an IR laser on the rifle, picked up by the IR camera, and using the processing unit to track the laser point and attach the cross-hair to it?)

  • It's crazy, few code lines and it does all this. Prerequisites - have all of hardware, like consoles, cameras, controls and engines (this project doesn't need it tho) lying around and helmet for a grade of 10, just to pass an exam. PC - you will have to go and get it, few images in right places and it's done as a beginning of something greater. Essentially it's a proof of concept - it's possible.

  • Idk what they're called but if you use that flexible glass stuff that also doubles as a semi transparent screen you could have an overlay with the normal visor and make everything look really nice without the choppy-ness, then for night vision and other modes you can continue to use other cameras and use that off and on 1 way glass stuff for the normal visor so when night vision is enabled the visor can stop showing the outside and the overlay can show the night vision footage and just shine brighter. I have absolutely no idea if anything I'm talking about is even 100% accurate so i totally understand this comment not getting taken seriously but i figured I'd say it anyways
