    • Zhengs current coach, Pera, is her former coach, who was coaching Coco Gauff. He dropped Gauff late last year & went back to Zheng. Happens all the time.

  • why are some people so disloyal? u can tell qinwen is a sweetheart. this is a good thing though as she needs loyal, caring people in her team not people like that coach. i knew osaka would lose in the aus open. her ego is too big. humbleness is the key to major success

  • Zheng has far more potential and a bigger game than Osaka, but it's clearly not about that. Everything boils down to $$ ,eventually. Hope Zheng reaches her full potential and possibly few titles this year.

  • No matter how good a coach Fisette is, a man is only as good as his word. Lack of integrity in my opinion.From what I believe we will see Zheng at the top for a long time. Somehow I am not surprised Osaka is a factor.

  • The coach has immoral character. He should end his contract first but I think he is thinking money, name and power which shows that he is immoral as a coach. It’s not worth it to be upset. You can be a greatest player without him.

  • ZHENG, think u better off without a coach only seek fames, & has no time to help u reach yr goal, good loyal coach are hard to come by..............even more hard is to find a coach who has ecperience in playing all 4 major racket games ( squash, tennis badminton & table tennis) who observe how yr futute opp.can play & plan out yr training not only yr strokes but how u read the game & play sustainable yennis throughout a 2 weeks tournament...................Sinner & Novak's coaches both are not BIG SLAM winners but understnad how toread the game etc....( Goron only won 1 slam)

  • If you believe the current coach is not help you enough, why not hire Patrick Mouratoglou, who coached Serena Williams, Somona Halep, Hoge Rune, Tsitsipass, etc. ? Though you may need pay more money to hire Patrick, but for the long run, it worths it! Or at least go to his academy for training in Nice, France for a while, especially on serve, serve stability and so on…

  • These coaches are predators. They don’t care about anyone but themselves. They only want money. It’s really disturbing to see a box full of men sweating over a game. Literally people playing. The stakes are high but only because people want them to be. Cheering when the players wins. What did they do to deserve such respect? Not saying all of them are bad but jeez.

  • Osaka made a lot of mistakes and is now desperate. She cried about doing interviews after matches at the French Grand Slam. Said she was shy in front of media. A few months later she’s lighting an Olympic cauldron, making a Netflix special and modeling. Took time off tennis and had a baby. Now the comeback begins ….. ? There are plenty of powerful baseline players in the woman’s game now. Osaka may just have squandered her prime tennis years. Time will tell.

Sports players and coaches change all the time, it's just that it is usually players that decide on the change and sack their coach.
