X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE - WIE ALLES BEGANN| Waffe X: Mutantenakte - Wade Wilson / Deadpool (englisch, deutsche Untertitel)
Mit Hugh Jackman, Danny Huston und Ryan Reynolds.
Ein Film von Gavin Hood.
DVD Veröffentlichung von X-Men Origins: Wolverine: 1. Oktober 2009
You can truly see how good of a choice Reynolds was to play Wade here. He truly cares about the character, and he was so proud of himself for being mentioned in the comic books and making it to the actual movie, and how disappointed he was with what they did with him at the end. If knowing that he improvised his only good lines in the movie and learned how to use those swords doesn't sell it for you, then I don't know what will.
*LOUDLY APPLAUDING*
I think the movie will be animated.
What 2016 movie?
Wait-Ryan improvised his lines in Origins? ... ... ...makes you wonder what his original dialogue was gonna be.
well, he got the job of deadpool eventially)
I like how confident these people sound as they're talking about ruining a great character and expecting comic fans to like it.
M. Strain Jr. the only thing that was wrong with him was the katarna wrist blades
The BotherHood That and the fact that he did not at all look or act like Deadpool.
well he was being controlled by Striker and i guess the cancer could spread over his skin at some point later. and like it said in the video this was meant to be the origins he wasn't meant to be deadpool from the get go
The BotherHood But... This isn't anything like what Deadpools origins really are.. You don't really think that they just plopped him into a comic without a back story, right? Like they have a cannon origin for Wayde and this movie SHIT all over it.
Some did.I like that the katanas come out like wolverines claws, but don't like them shutting him up,hes the merc "With" a mouth, not without.
The fact they fucked up the character in Origins makes the Deadpool movie even more legendary.
Yep
"From the studio that inexplicably sewed his fucking mouth shut the first time..." I've never seen X-Men Origins and now I finally understand what he meant by that.
How could you have not watched origins! 😱
+Daniyal Haider I looked it up later and realized that I had seen it a really long time ago, long before I realized who Deadpool was. I need to see it again lol
+ScarletRavenwing, its actually an enjoyable movie if you pretend that Deadpool is a different character.
Percy Jackson Son of Neptune I don't remember it very well but I had watched it for Wolverine, who is my favorite X-Men character. I do remember enjoying it but now I don't feel so sure now that I know who Wade Wilson is and am now a huge Deadpool fan lol. But I will try!
+ScarletRavenwing I am not a die hard comic fan so it really isn't that bad to me
Ryan Reynolds is the perfect guy for this character because let's be honest...he sort of acts like this anyway lol.
He also sorta looks and reminds me of Nolan North who does Deadpool's voice in the games and most Animated appearances... Also sorta reminds me of Nathan Drake a tad...
+starwarschic123 um I hate to break it to you but Nolan North is Nathan Drake.
All of us are watching this trying to find out who's to blame for screwing up Deadpool LOL!
Night Rider I know right lol
No
In wolverine he wasnt very good but in deadpool I loved it
@Night Rider i got ur man right here 7:01
@@dealmakerdreamtaker5257 That guy looks like Elon Musk
Loved the lil throwback to the beginning of this in Deadpool haha
+JaxBlade Ye and also the one during the middle with the deadpool action figure.
JaxBlade true.
And in Deadpool 2 post credit scene
I like how Ryan Reynolds singlehandedly saved Deadpool from....that.
That was great
he doesn't disappoint, too bad the fucking movie did.
Really is a shame. Seems most people agreed that Ryan was a good choice for Deadpool and that he got the mannerisms and quirks of the character down when he has a mouth. Such a shame.
People help this happen, this needs to happen. twitter.com/RhettReese/status/497433708618473473 if u don't have a twitter account spread the link.
the character was great.. at least for the first half of the film
Ravan Axent NOPE
The character is great in general, an amazing story for wade, even though he starts the film as a badass you must admit it’s even more badass to see him fuck up logan like the savage he is
So when he's actually mutant deadpool, they remove his snarky attitude and banter? Ryan Reynolds should have continued to be Deadpool with the sarcastic attitude... why did they make him into a terminator? Deadpool isn't a terminator. Deadpool is a mutant zombie fuck up that just happens to be able to kick ass.
Deadpool isn't a mutant, though.
Mike Decker wow, after that i encourage you to leave this conversation. You clearly know shit about the character if you say that.
ArminMeiwes23 Maybe you should. Deadpool is not a mutant. He was a good (as in talented) mercenary who got cancer and was given, via surgery, Wolverine's healing factor and went insane. He's told regularly by the X Men that he can't be a X Man because he's not a mutant. He likes to call himself a mutant because if he were a mutant, he could join the X Men, and fly the Blackbird/be around the female X Men. It also pisses Wolverine off, which is just an added bonus to Deadpool.
Mike Decker Yes he is, He's a failed version of Wolverine.
Gaming with Mikey! you're born a mutant, not made into one
"circumcision should never be an accident" HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
"and then then ultimately there's a sort of tragedy that happens to this character..." Buddy you had no idea did you
"Deadpool is not going to ever come to his complete fruition as Deadpool, as the fans know him in the comics" We'll just see about that, Posh Spice.
IKR! How bout now Bish!!
they ment by in the movie,
Has ur opinion changed now ?
"But later on in the fight the black starts to come out. So we're saying we know, we know he's supposed to have those diamonds." Those diamonds... That don't really look like diamonds at all... And are part of his suit and not actually his skin...
Jajajaja I know, I cringed when that part came
she sounds stupid
+EPR89 I hated it so much!!
ya seeing this, shows what happens when you let people that have never read a comic produce a comic movie.
“that’s just lazy writing” haha
I could forgive giving him the Teleport ability. (Deadpool has had this at various points). I could even forgive him having the swords grafted to his bones - ala Wolverine - after becoming Deadpool. But man. Did you have to sew his mouth shut? That just killed it.
That and the fucking superman lasers coming out of his eyes, WTF! lol.
+Fallout Wanderer 2077 that was intended to be a power stolen from Cyclops' DNA. either way, easy to forget that shit lol
itwontcomeout5678 I forgot about that, well, at least there was a in-movie reason then lol. Been awhile since I last watched this with little motivation to watch it again. Now, the DP movie was awesome, looking forward to the sequel, should be good.
Various points....that teleportation factor makes up 1/5 of his main powers...it's needed
I like this version more than new one. He is badass and he is silent. This pervert in red annoys me.
I hate that lady talking about "the black diamonds" trying to act like she knows shit about Deadpool
Gerardo Gonzalez Lauren Schuler Donner has been trying to get the Deadpool movie done for almost as long as Ryan has. Granted, she's not exactly big into comics, but she was trying to see/show the silver lining in this dark cloud. Back then, there was the hope that if Origins did well, Deadpool (and Gambit) would get spinoff films. She has since come out and said how disappointed she was with barakapool.
Shut the fuck up lol
So they basically silenced Deadpool and give him lasers and teleport... what is wrong with them people?
That's like taking super speed away from flash ;-;
Ciarra Wheeler No, it's like giving the Flash laser eyes and teleporting.
***** It wasn't actually one of his abilities. He used a device to do it.
***** yeah he can bodyslide via a device of some sort... his own ability are just the healing factor and the combat abilities if you will
***** Now you do. Also take this with a grain of salt, but IIRC Deadpool is currently dead.
"And Please don't make the super suit green or animated"!
+Deathpool_04 :D That was so great :D
+Deathpool_04 XD LOL!
+Deathpool_04 He should of also said "And don't sew my mouth shut!"
Chris Ramos If he said that, then they probably wouldve done it. I dont think they like him talking.
Speaking of green suit (green lantern)
"Yes, we deliberately took Deadpool and came him certain things and attributes that have never been seen in the comics. Good! We hope we surprised you a little!" Ok it's great that you tried to do that, but you changed the character to the point that it wasn't the character anymore. Hell, if you'd left him the ability to talk, I doubt people would be as pissed off. The character had ZERO characteristics of Deadpool, NONE. Oh great, you put diamonds around his eyes when his eyes lit up. NO ONE CARES!
"Yes, we deliberately took Deadpool and gave him attributes that haven't been seen in the comics. Good! We hope we surprised you a little!" Oh yeah. You surprised us, alright. You surprised us with how little you actually care about the character, or his fans. I'm just saying, when you're a blockbuster film with a huge budget and some big f*cking names working for you, and a discount video game comes closer to the character you're trying to portray than you do, you've either f*cked it up big time, or you just don't give a sh*t. And by the way, Deadpool's name comes from a game he played in prison with the other inmates, where they would bet on who would be the next to be executed. It didn't come from him being a pool of mutant genes to create the ultimate killer.
Thank you for this!!!
Fox's X-Men films are a blight on humanity.
Also, Wade Wilson isn't one of the 'X-men', right? Because X-men are the mutants working with Xavier...
He wants to be at times. Wade is complicated... complicated and hilarious
Actually it wasn't prison, it was after he joined the X program and it his experiment failed miserably he was sent to a hospice, but the betting thing was correct. they called it a Deadpool. he got the name cause he broke the rules of the hospice and killed another patient to put him out of his misery. The hospice then tried to kill Wade, but that was when the regen kicked in and he merced all over them. Then donning the mask becoming Deadpool
dear lady assuring us you know he is that character, nope. you were wrong. you are wrong. you will continue to be wrong. watch deadpool the movie and find out why. Sincerely, Every deadpool fan ever
She's involved with new, original, right, and better Deadpool movie. So I'm guessing she's trying to make up for it now. Hopefully she will.
ShepherdsWrench she's the producer of the upcoming Deadpool film.
Deathpool_04 Interesting to know that. Thanks for the information. But I'm sure she won't fuck it up again.
Ambar I already forgive her for what happened to him but I don't his you could fuck up another movie this time. So I'm pretty sure it'll succeed.
filho rudaaaaaaáaa
I have to say, it really helped to see the actual ideas of the film makers on Deadpool and the perspective that this is the origin of the character and not the final result. This helps me appreciate the movie more.
He looked like a TV demographic version of Deadpool that is on the CW for 4 seasons.
arrow sucks now
+hey chancho Goddamn Felicity
+hey chancho Arrow always sucked. It's gay as fuck
Felicity is hot as fuck, and i like her character. What's wrong with her?
I thought it was excellent for the first few seasons, the last one not so much. What's with the hate? I'm not a Green Arrow fan so maybe that is why? Did they butcher his character?
Damn it! Deadpool jumped Universes from Marvel to DC and became Green Lantern.
LOL, with a little bit of Hannibal King(as a vamp) tossed in to boot,
Yeah lol
hey well johnny storm became captain america and they're both marvel. (chris evans played both characters).
Mitch Kirkby It's not about how many roles he's played it's the weird power up they gave Wade in the Wolverine movie it's almost as if he's channeling other super people he's played that's the point I was making.
Mitch Kirkby Chris also played Lucas Lee in Scott Pilgrim and voiced Casey Jones in TMNT... He's making bank off comic book characters lol
"We hoped we surprised you".... You can surprise anyone by taking what they know and love and just throwing it in a meat grinder right in front of their eyes. I bet if I took their script and put it into the grinder in front of them they would be surprised as well!
Ryan Reynolds looks so sick as Wade Wilson 🔥🔥🔥
They got the character so wrong here, but I am so glad the Deadpool movie rocked.
+XrotarebiL I mean Ryan Renolds still really rocked as a young Wade Wilson, with what was given to him of course, which is why he was the obvious choice for the remake.
+Nicolas Pradine Ryan Reynolds was one of the main reasons Deadpool movie was made
+Meliodias No they admit they fucked the character up here. It's not about the origin but sewing his mouth shut and giving him laser eyes. Have you seen the new Deadpool movie? They rip on this movie so harshly. Are they fanboys with their knickers in a bunch too?
I like this version more than new one. He is badass and he is silent. This pervert in red annoys me.
The Reason I like X-men Origins Wolverine..... Baraka-Pool is not Deadpool..... but Ryan Reynolds in the first half IS!! XD
I liked _X-Men First Class_. But _Wolverine_ was nice.
Color Streak You Know Deadpool's getting his own movie.... and hopefully it has little to nothing to do with Origins Wolverine. It's a Guilty Pleasure. X'D
willku9000 Jesus God, no. I hate Deadpool.
Color Streak ....... He's my Favorite Super Hero... and He's a Brony. Pinkie is his Favorite... I'm not kidding this is Canon and also Pinkie-Pool. CHIMICHERRYCHANGA!!!! XD
willku9000 I hate him. He's my LEAST favorite hero BECAUSE he's like Pinkie Pie. Absurd and illogical.
Yes, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson doesn't disappoint... I mean, in THIS movie he does, but ultimately he doesn't disappoint!
I like the way the director and producer talk about Deadpool as if they actually know anything about him. Especially when the producer talks about the the aesthetic design of the character, Deadpool, mentioning the "black diamonds" around his eyes and how "he's got a bit of red here but later on in the fight you see the black starts to come out, so we're saying, 'We know he's supposed to have those diamonds and he is that character and here it is.'"
It wasnt that srs
"He can cut you to shreds with his wit" - that, right there, is what I like most about Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Even in "Two Guys, A Girl, And A Pizza Place," he always had that razor-sharp wit and withering sarcasm. If he could amp up the mental instability and the profanity, I'll have very few complaints.
4:00 "And then ultimately there's a tragedy to this character." Understatement of the fucking century
ryan is perfect for deadpool to bad this movie sucked
Pretty much. You know, though, I would forgive what they did to Deadpool- The lame pajama outfit, the Baraka-style arm swords, the fucking ridiculous laser eye vision- ALL OF IT... had they NOT sewn his mouth closed. He's the Merc With The Mouth, not the MUTE MERC!!!
Andrew Ramos so true... but i still wouldnt forgive the lazer eyes
Andrew Ramos i mean, all they had to do was give him the teleportation and healing factor. that's enough to fight wolv and sabre. they did too much extra. this movie and first class shouldn't exist.
Agreed :T
Jack Danger Especially considering most of the fight centered around him jumping, porting, and kicking, and less on the blades and lasers. If blowing things up was necessary, he could have just ported to an armory, grabbed a rocket launcher and gone nuts. What, with being nuts and all.
It's obvious that the crew were forced to put in different characters by Fox. The characters were just chucked in random places. It was messy.
I agree. It was one of the things that made the film rather unbalanced.
yup thats why its sucked they should have focused more on Wolverine escaping weapon X overcoming obstacles and Beserker rage instead we had him boxing with blob
Capcom Wolverine That would've been cool. My version would've been Wolverine in World I and II. How he met Mystique. We had a cool opening about Wolverine through wars. But if the whole movie was about the wars he faced, it would've been epic.
+Remy "Gambit" LeBeau that too why cant the script writers and directors be more like us !!
Capcom Wolverine I don't know. They need to listen to the fans a bit more.
the real deadpool was the Ryan Reynolds one in the beginning, the deadpool at the end was corny
+astien perez it's still him but they ruined him,but his moves were amazing,i'mean the stunt man was scott adkins.
Reynolds was born to be Deadpool.... he even has that witty sounding voice, but once again, just like freakin Green Lantern, the production totally fucks it up and blows it. the guy can be a goddamn good superhero if someone will just let him!
Freakin Green Lantern was great. Stop taking this personally
WHAT DID THAY DO TO DEADPOOL? It took me two times of seeing this movie to realise it was actually deadpool that's how bad they tore up this character!
i didn't realise it until i watched this youtube vid...granted i've only seen the movie once
Yeah that's how bad they messed up the character....
But they called him Deadpool in the movie... After the transformation. But i realised too after watching some youtube videos.
Must have missed that bit but I really didn't realise it was Deadpool. I thought that they were just refereeing to him the second time I watched it then I realised he was Deadpool and really was shocked at how they treated this character.
BlackWiddow10 ikr they made a fucking brainwashed freak...like wthh
I really love Ryan Reynolds as deadpool (don't kill me cause I said that please anyone) but I think he actually fits the role as he relates to a lot of the characteristics personality wise as what I imagined deadpool would be like but as for the portrayal in x-men origins I really don't like how they handled it the katana scene was undoubtably awesome but after that it just wasn't what I was hoping for or expecting I'm not a die hard marvel fan or a die hard deadpool fan but even I will say I was disappointed even though the final fight scene showed how much the experiments had given Deadpool this power it just wasn't as good as say the katana scene it felt rushed whereas the katana scene actually showed skill and momentum and awsomeness basically although again I think they chose rightly for Ryan Reynolds for Deadpool; just my view on it :p Again I'm not a diehard fan of marvel or deadpool but I do know some origin and outlook into it so yeah- please comment and let me know if you agree or disagree or anything etc. either way ,I love deadpool he's one of my favourite marvel characters :) x
I'll kill y with trick *Makes breakdance stunt* *punches*
.
Death by comments and thanks always wondered
No your right Parker
Thank you 😊
honestly I love what they did with deadpool in this movie... he may not be the original idea throughout the marvel comics and so forth but he still is a pretty cool character
what I thought was funny is the serious mercenary wade wilson was a wise cracking smartass but deadpool is a serious killing machine
I don't think people should be blaming Ryan Reynolds for the changes that was made to deadpool. He is by far the most capable actor around at the moment to play deadpool and that's not by a longshot. New movie coming up. Will be good. Glad he's deadpool again. Hopefully we get the original this time around. Would be nice to see Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe too though. It needs to go beyond papers.
Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe makes no sense
Everybody needs to watch the teaser footage of Deadpool with Ryan Reynolds in it!! Looks like despite the worrisome experiment in this clip, Deadpool comes out of it better than ever with his still snarky mouth. LOVE IT, and LOVE Ryan Reynolds!!
I think Reynolds as deadpool started out pretty awesome in this movie. But then they messed it up. Ironically, after they enhanced/mutated/messed him up, and he sort of became "deadpool" in the movie, he was no longer recognizable as deadpool in any way (behavior, abilities, lack of text and so on).
+Manny Calavera wtf are you talking about his face is the deadpool mask....the black ink on his body is the deadpool costume...open your eyes
First of all, there is no need for profanity. Second, yes, we can all see his face shares some vague resemblance with deadpool's mask. But that does not make it deadpool. The thing he turned into in the movie has a different look, different abilities, and most importantly, a different personality. The character was unrecognizable (outside of some vague, shallow resemblance). That stoic, silent lab experiment with all those crazy abilities had little to do with the "merc with the mouth". But hey, if you think giving a character one recognizable trait, quirk, or visual characteristic is enough to do the character justice, that is your call to make.
I completely agree. One of the things that make Deadpool who he is, and funny is when he's joking while fighting. The fact that they took that out just sucked. Well... To me, the whole character after the mutation sucked. He was more "Deadpool" and a better character when he was how he started.
He was even played by different actor
I like this version more than new one. He is badass and he is silent. This pervert in red annoys me.
rules of making a comic book adaptation 1. If Thousands of fans love the comic book character the way he is represented in the comic book, don't change it. 2. if no one has rarely heard of the said character, has a lame origins, powers, etc, then by all means try something new and exciting in hopes of capturing an audience.
at least there telling us why they did what they did to deadpool.
No...They know what they did. They are just trying to hide it and act all innocent. It's horrid what they did. Background isn't even right...Grr...He's one of my favorites, too. They better fix it before the official movie.
If they make the official movie. I saw a video somewhere that if Deadpool gets a movie it needs to be PG13 and I don't want to see a PG13 Deadpool movie.
They are still working on it. The rating is the biggest hangup right now. PG13+Big budget or a R+Small budget.
Yes, it's good to see that they deliberately fucked the entire thing up.
Having come from a designer background, I imagine these guys are telling themselves that they needed to surprise the fanbase of the character by creating twists and turns. They thought it would be a good idea, and probably still think it was. There's some dissonance between what the viewers want and what the creatives want to deliver. Unfortunately, while their creative views may hit more often than they miss, this was probably a pretty big miss. Since results speak louder than a fanbase crying for blood, I suspect given the opportunity to do it over, they probably would- do it exactly the same, more or less. It's why Micheal Bay keeps getting movies to torture. (I'm all for a properly portrayed Deadpool. The Directors made this to much of their own thing.)
I forgot how young Ryan looked in that movie.
"We hope we surprised you a little" Well... Yup, at least THAT part worked out...
5:12 - "We know he suppose to have those diamonds - he is that character". Yeah, but he suppose to have those diamonds on his mask - never on his face :|
Man I love Scott Adkins. I wish that he'd get more recognition.
Fr
"he came with those lines himself", good to know that the only good part of him there was done by the actor that still plays him.
5:05 glad they cared so much about being true to the character.
Yeah lady, the black diamonds on his face really made Deadpool the character we all love. You really nailed it. Good shit.
So critical are you!
I think that was Brian.
Also, Deadpool doesn't have diamonds. They're closer to spidey eyes, and sometimes they're outright circular. So, way to go Lauren/Brian.
His circumcision joke sounded so much like something Deadpool would say.
If only he knew back then of his future of this character🥳
2:01 I like how this dude tries to hold his laugh in, by making that funny face lol.
"Bitten by a Radioactive Sharpei" -Wade Wilson
He doesn't Even have any blood on his blade after he kills them. ._.
Marina Baa he wiped it on their shirts
makes no sense
Marina Baa u upset bra
csyd22 nope, i didn't care enough to reply with a serious answer. :)
G13, not rated R movie...
What a lame version of Deadpool.Teleportation, laser eyes?! So glad the 2016 was bad-ass and based on the comics, unlike this travesty.
+moodini99 You do realize Deadpool can teleport in the comics as well.
Well, keep in mind Deadpool's character has been used by several different writers, and his powers do vary considerably. Not every version of Deadpool can teleport. Either way, the Deadpool is the Wolverine movie is vastly different to any incarnation of Deadpool in the comics.
moodini99 Interestingly, Origins: Wolverine was supposed to be the origin of Deadpool. Wade gets traumatized by being mindcontrolled and having his mouth shut. In the post-credits scene his body touches his severed head and it wakes up, his mouth open once again. Wade puts his head back on, which immediately heals, and then goes crazy, decides he'll never answer to anyone any more and he'll never ever shut up again. Could've been cool.
Yeah, it might have been cool. But they shouldn't have called the character Deadpool. He's supposed to be a cheeky ex-merc with a big mouth. It wouldn't make sense if he were once like the Wolverine: Origins version of Deadpool. Thank fuck the new Deadpool movie was so awesome. Loved it. Although, the frequent wise-cracks - many of which were pretty puerile - did get a bit tedious.
Shut the hell up
Its easy to rip on what they did to Deadpool here, but before you give the obligatory "they ruined the character" you should at least try and see what they were trying to do. Like they said it was an origin film, Deadpool was suppose to be what he was in this movie than become what we all know and love in later films. Sadly the creative team went a little to far with extra powers and not enough focus on what was next for Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds literally killed it as Wilson, he was made for this part in every way and I'm sure Deadpool himself will rip all this films faults a new one in 2016.
Pot StickaLicka wow. Your comment is about to get a ton of likes my friend...
right..... thats Hollywood for you trying to make a huge movie and not knowing how to write the ending ..and not knowing how to tie a major character into his own story...and totally screwing up an iconic character for his later movies...which leaves real fans like me confused and disappointed... overall was a good movie except for the end making deadpool a monster that gets decapitated...really...if this is origins...which means the beginning how the hell does he come back to be deadpool for his later movies...total jip..
Ryan is charming as shit ^_^
I know, right? His charm is very palpable. :-)
Yes. Reminds me of myself lol
Profajl Nejm :-D
Ur gay as shit
Uhm, actually, are there so many people out there who like...shit?
Say what you want, Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool.
Ryan Reynolds for the wits and humor and Scott Adkins for the stunts and fights, Man that could be one awesome movie :)
“Effervescent witticisms”! How did I spend my life not loving everything about this wonderful dude!?! 🥰💕😘😂
such a great character that they just totally messed up. At end says yes we gave him things that the comic never had.... theres a reason for that .. they know how to create characters that work.
What they did to deadpool in this movie is such a colassal fuck up that it ruined the entire movie. Thank fuck Ryan gets to play the real deadpool not this shit
Colossal fuck up.....how did you know?He said the exact same thing in deadpool XD
+Nagy Marton shit he did didn't he? I also liked that he had an action figure of the deadpool in this version
Yeah, if they would of kept it where he didn't have lasers shooting out of his eyes and didn't have blades coming out of his hands, it could of been alright but, it was a major clusterfuck in the end. Let it be a lesson to any future writers, producers and directors that changing an iconic character to that degree is always a bad idea.
you can see the sadness behind his eyes in his interview. im glad that he got a chance to actually do deadpool right.
The one good thing about this execrable movie is Ryan Reynolds as a pre-transformation Wade Wilson, and it's awesome that he got his own Deadpool movie and went all-out.
I love how they portrayed Wade Wilson, but Deadpool didn't have black diamonds (his mask did) and he doesn't teleport without his belt and laser...whaaat. It was a good try, but didn't accurately portray Deadpool at all. Looking forward to that new Deadpool movie coming out though. :)
The ultimate problem is not with the acting, the lack of words, the script or the lack of the costume. Yeah, losing Deadpool's famous mouth is a bad bad thing, but there's something more lost here with sloppy writing. Wilson was always more, than a character in comics. He was sort of a fundamental figure. He interacted with the readers on grounds the other characters could not. He sent messages the so called "heroes" could never deliver right. The biggest problem here is this effect being taken away. The fact that he is reduced to an actual character is what's heartbreaking in this movie and that's why noone likes this incarnation. He delivers wisecracks, but not so crazy or meaningful as the comic Deadpool. He just talks. That's all. He's funny, he talks a lot, Ryan Reynolds plays him really well, but this is not who Deadpool really is. He doesn't just talk. It always seems he speaks only nonsense in the comics, but each and every little piece of madness that leaves this guy's mouth is meaningful and worth gold. That is what is missing here, very sadly.
I don't have a problem with it, as this is supposedly chronologically *before* Deadpool....I guess "ferments" into what he is in the comics, a fourth wall breaking madman that still has all the ability and the mouth.
What you are missing here is that these are the origins of the mutants. They won't be what we always knew them to be because they were younger. I believe they did Wade Wilson perfectly since it seems only natural that with his later personality disorder everything is taken up a notch from what it what was before which is what we see in the movie. Its the insanity that made Deadpool who he was and this movie takes it back before that ever occurred. By the way the reason they shut up Deadpool by sealing his mouth shut is completely relevant to what Srtyker said previously in his assault out of the elevator that he would be the perfect soldier if he shut up which is something they took into their hands when they operated on him. Sure we don't like it but it makes complete sense.
Phanxify The only problem with this explanation is that Marvel has a very thorough and documented backstory for how Wade Wilson became Deadpool and this version is so completely not anything even close to that back story. The only thing this film did right with Deadpool is the casting of Ryan Reynolds and maybe the end credit scene were they gave him back his mouth. Other than that I can totally understand why fanboys/girls are so passionately pissed at this version of Deadpools origin. While it may make sense in the film to give him adamantium plated bones, katana claws, cyclops eye things and teleporting abilities it isn't canon and will make the 2016 Deadpool movie hard to follow for those who only know this version of the character.
The origins can be rebooted for a feature film adaptation. I mean, if we look at it roughly, all Deadpool went through was a few surgeries, a lab accident which turned him hideous, some time in a research facility and then a breakout. Boom, freshly made Deadpool. That would make a good story for an actual main character, not a tool for the main villain. It would make sense to turn him a bit around for this movie at least, since later, the times he is on screen can be explained, so the nonstop talking asshole can be turned into an actual protagonist later, so at least this origin story makes a bit sense. And some of the powers too. I mean he has regen-ability, he has swords, even though not wolverine's claws, but those can be broken off or something later as well and he has a teleporting ability. Okay again, it's his belt, not a natural power, but you get what I mean. Basically, this movie wanted to bring a rebooted Deadpool, but it failed shortly. Reynolds was a good cast for the character, that's no surprise, but the script could've done better and Deadpool could've been treated better too. Still, I think it's funny how it's called X-men origins: Wolverine, a bit like the mini comic series called Agent of Shield: Wolverine. But the funniest thing is that this title sounds like they wanted to start a series of movies explaining each of the main characters.
By the way, if my sources are correct, the Deadpool movie was cancelled. Sorry, but no Merc with the Mouth awesomeness on the silver screen. Not that I know of, at least.
"Circumcision should never be an accident" - Another great words from Deadpool LMAO
Am i the only one around here who is thankful that these violation stands in the past and Ryan finally shows the REAL DP?
"deadpool has an awesome uniform... we couldn't put it on him". screw you!!!!
Oooo I'm a gunna fucking spell it out for ya .... F R A N C I S #DryCloud
There's usually more people on these comments it's almost like.. Fox couldn't afford anymore people.
+Malachi Roberts Lame callback
Thanks posh spice
who?
You m8
Hugh Jackman said "he doesn't disappoint." I think he meant to say "He absolutely disappoints."
he didn't disappoint. he played the role well but ultimately the writers and directors shot him in the ground. dude did his best
pwnage122334 Now you're the disappointment.
thank you
C Funk If anything, YOU'RE the disappointment. The unanimous opinion among Marvel fans is that Ryan Reynolds IS Deadpool, and nailed Wade Wilson in the first bit of this movie.
I'm the disappointment? I've met Ryan Reynolds in person, and let me assure you: he's a disappointment.
"... and he doesn't disappoint." they are all trying to save it soooo haaaard :D
This video doesnt matter, cus at the end they ruined deadpool, by making him a mute, then they killed him
I bet you didn't see the after credits scene
Just by the way he's not dead and not anymore muted. He broke open his mouth.
Well they say that X-Men Origins: Deadpool (Or whatever it will be called) will have no ties in how he was this movie, which would be good for Deadpool fans. Of course with Ryan Reynolds going to be Deadpool in that movie also, the problem would be Fox funding the movie for his performance. Ryan's most recent movie's haven't been that popular. Also with the movie being R-rated (I mean come on, a Pg-13 Deadpool would ruin a lot of what they can put in.) It would cut out many younger fans out of seeing it.
Do you really think Deadpool is dead that easy hehe, what didnt happen too him in the comics...
Sayu Satoru The test footage is just as good as a mood board for film production. Since we didn't see to much blood- but DID see a decapitated head, it was likely a test to see if they could achieve the same effect as the comics in the movie with a PG-13 rating. The bit at the end with the head could easily be tossed out in as unnecessary in favor of a rating that would insure a wider audience can get in on the action. I'd like a true-to-life representation of the comic book as much as anyone! But what the audience wants and what we're willing to take are two totally different things. The studios spend truck loads of money on these films, and they -want- NEED to make up that cost. The studio, especially a Hollywood studio that still believes comics are for younger audiences (which speaks more about Hollywood than just the studio) will be looking at how they can minimize disappointment and deliver a product that represents the product they're adapting. And that, likely, means a pg-13 rating.
They should give him his own movie !
I like that they admit to giving the finger to how the character is in the books.
He made his own lines cool.
Casting Ryan Reynolds as Dead Pool in this movie was like making a steak with a lobster sauce only you forgot the beef so you used a pile of shit instead. It would have been perfect in a movie that didn't rape Dead Pool like this one.
Gavin Hood is doing a interview about X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Gavin Hood): "Yes, we deliberately took Deadpool and gave him certain attributes...(Ryan, as Deadpool, walks behind Gavin with a set light)... that have never been seen in the comics. Good! We hope we surprised you a little." (Gavin gets hit the set light) Deadpool: Fuck you, Gavin! (to the fans) April Fools! Deadpool will never be like this again! (to Rob Liefield) Don't worry, Rob. Gavin will never make another movie, anymore.
You surprised us all, that's for sure!
"Circumcision should never be an accident" i was weak 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I actually quite like the interpretation of deadpool in origins and the way that I remember the ending they could have easily picked this deadpool up for a standalone (withhis mouth open of course) and fit him into a later x men movie. Its a bit of a shame that Deadpool is going to be rebooted so the chances of him being in future x men movies is basucally 0. still looking forward to the movie next year.
"and he doesn't disappoint" ohhhhhhhh how wrong you were Huge lol "deadpool is not going to ever come to his complete fruition as dead pool as fans know him in the comic books" ohhhhhhhh how wrong you were Mr. Douchebag "He is that character and here he is" No. No he is not. Thankfully, Deadpool got his own movie and we can forget this atrocity
Lol i love how everyone suddenly became Overseers from Dishonored ''KILL THE HERETICS'' ''BLASPHEMY!! I'LL HAVE YOUR HEAD'' xD
The casting was always spectacular for the xmen movies. I hope they keep the original cast when they bring xmen into the MCU
Logan, Creed, Deadpool. The right guys to play all 3. It's the reveal, who Logan was before. So much potential. We even let slide that Jackman was WAY too tall to be Wolvie. But, thanks to this film, non-nerds know about Deadpool.
I never noticed that Deadpool has a .... "laser eyes" or whatever, and also, what about his eyes? I tought that they are all white. And his mouth! That's the main reason why I like Deadpool! Is talk too much. And that's what I like. And you pulled it away! His crazy voice was funny and if I think about that, marvel doesn't have character what is that funny.I also didn't get why did Wolverine fight him. Maybe I'm just creepy crazy fan, but that film is horrible (in my opinion)
Wolverine and Deadpool fight all the time in the comic book, Wolverine is basically one of Deadpools "enemies" (not exactly an enemy...but you know) just like how deadpool always tries to kill spider man; but yeah, you're spot on.
i think the stiches in deadpools mouth came out after his fight with wolverine, and he may have also lost his laser vision after the fight also.. no one really knows if deadpool had laser vision in the first which is why i say directors should just stick to the facts..
Its not just horrible but its completely horrible
C:
Well, the movie wasn't that good. Hopefully they hurry up with the new deadpool movie.
I wouldn't say Jim Carey to play DeadPool would be a good choice. Dead Pool is funny because he is crude and doesn't give a shit. Carey has never played a character like that, he's more body animated funny than vocally. I think Reynolds was a good choice, I just think his character was written wrong. Both visually and dialogue wise. Or if you really wanted extra crude credits... Give him a few months in the gym, and then get Johnny Knoxville. Funny and OTT crude when required.
Jim Carey has played a character like that. In Kick Ass 2 he plays Colonel Stars and Stripes.
OkItsJustSean Colonel Stars is no where near the character of Dead Pool. Colonel Stripes is a sort of new found peace loving human being who wants to right the wrong he did. He refuses to even curse. Dead Pool is the opposite of that in every way. Also. Jim Carey stepped back from the premier of Kick Ass 2 because he didn't agree with the violence. Accepted the pay for it, but then decided to have morals on violence when it was time for him to do the real work for the movie. The acting is easy, its the selling of the movie thats the hard part, and he backed off. So if he thought the movie of Kick Ass 2 was bad. I imagine he would drop a stool after reading what Dead Pool's actually like.
Gory Masher What about Hank from Me, Myself, and Irene?
TheThreeHeadedDragon Maybe. But only after he had the superhero chin surgery :D
If the deadpool movie actually gets made, I FUCKN HOPE TO THE MOVIE GODS that Ryan Reynolds IS Deadpool, he's perfect for the part.
it's amazing how they do this stuff.....
Wade Wilson and Gambit were the best parts of X-Men Origins...
wait. Let me get this straight. They turned Deadpool into some sort of mega Wolverine, but not with the sarcastic attitude? But replaced it with two rapter claws which are edgy and ugly, and teleportation? Okay Deadpool was amazingly funny with the attitude and cool Katanas. Why change a well written character that all the fans enjoy? Another thing... The new Deadpool trailer shows him being super sasrcastic and hilarious? Did they just completely throw away the last script and say "no one will remember the X-man thing, lets just make Deadpool how the fans want him" so i'm really confused.. Is he or is he not going to be a super buff Wolverine on steroids??
teleportation is a real thing dead pool has >.> rest i agree
mariah aultz Well deadpool does have teleportation in the comics, but what i dont get from this footage is that he cant teleport without his teleportation belt.
Did you saw xmen days of future past? At the end everything that happend in xmen origins is errased
Xei He hasn't had that in like 20 years. Except for the game.
MrEricon9 Actually if you go back to his marvel.com bio and check the Paraphernalia section it states "Deadpool utilizes a teleportation device located in his belt to whisk him out of (and occasionally into) danger, as well as a holographic image inducer that he can use to disguise his true appearance as necessary." its not just in the games
Every comments I see is from 5 or 4 years old That propelled me to make this cliche comment anyone from 2020?
Thank goodness they're making a new Deadpool movie!
This movie rocked.
mr sunday movie sent me here. Deadpool in the latter half of this movie is the Jar-jar bings of marvel. hope you know that "smug botux" lady
+Toke Holsting just stop with this strange jar-jar-bings theory, it's even more made up than the R2-D"-sith lord theory, so pleeeease stop
+Toke Holsting Which video from him?
You made Deadpool to gain all super powers i mean wtf, great to ruin deadpool for all of us
Ryan Reynald’s knew that fans were going to hate it before the film was released, even he hated it.
Love Hugh's voice
