I remember this game, especially as we were seeking revenge for Paulo Futre dumped us out of our first year of the Champions League (at that time called the European Cup). After our ‘91 title winning season, which was 1 game from Invincible. You see at the time Milan and The Arsenal were arguably the two best teams in Europe.

I faced that with a narc early last year. Promised a pay rise 3months in. Promised I'd be a store man...was a store man a labourer a cleaner and a manager for 24 electricians and 10 or so plumbers. He's still the symbol of Atlético Madrid and also won the Champions League with Porto. For 3-4 years he was almost as unplayable as Maradona, especially in 87. Maybe an overstatement from Arry but Futre was a world beater in his prime.
