For me the top 3 would be: 1-Sargon.Come from humble origins, never defeated in battle (and fought until old age),created the first empire ever- from southern Turkey to western Iran without horses (they would be introduced 3 or 4 centuries later). Revolutionized administration with the standard use of akkadian language, who become the língua franca of the near for almost 1.500 years. 2-Thutmosis III.Overshadowed by his foster mother in his youth he proved a military genious and mighty conqueror even surpassing his grandfather. His generals also used new tactics probably copied by the greeks (the taking of Joppa is very similar to the late trojan horse story) 3-Suppiluiluma.Underrated,as his father general he saved the Hittite Empire from the brink of collapse and turned into a superpower defeating the mighty Mittani. Was also a very skilfull administrator (the move to create the vice kingdom of Carchemish stablized the conquered territories)and trained his sucessors very well.
Priamaradu (sp?) should have been at least honorable mention. He seemed to be a thorn in the side of the the Hittite empire for 20 to 30 years total and knew how to play diplomacy to get protection from the Achaeans
True! Should’ve added him!
agreed
@@WanaxTV Please make a video on the Top 5 Generals of Mesoamerican history as well
Thutmose3, Seti, Ahmose, Mereneptah, Rameses 2&3 Agamemnon, Hammorabi,& Sargon.
They are Kings not Generals
@@thomasmalacky7864 the two aren’t mutually exclusive. The definition of general is: a commander of an army, or an army officer of very high rank.
@@Bubba___ yes i was being a troll my bad
I have to chose Suppiluilluma.
Good choice! Btw email me at wanaxtv@gmail.com for the awards!
Wow great vid interesting to learn about the best of the Bronze Age
Rameses II
Looking forward for the upcoming topics this year

Oh and I forgot to say Happy New Year and all the best this year! Your channel is really amazing!
One of the best channels I know! Happy new year! 🎉
Thank you very much & Happy New Year!
Loved your neolithic video
Thanks! Appreciate it.
“Massachusetts” 😄 Suppiluliuma I is my pick for #1. He was the only ‘Great King’ of the LBA to conquer the kingdom (Mitanni) of a fellow Great King. Also his name is the funnest to say.
We all know Ea-Nasir tops them all
Now this is a really cool video idea
Thanks so much for another great video and more amazing maps, my favourite. I wish I could have been more involved this year but I’ve got a lot going on, still happy to be one of your patreons! Keep up the good work
Thanks La Belle, I truly appreciate it! I have added several extra things for Patrons, such as new style of videos for Patreon only, a special Patreon chat, etc. If you have any request, feel free to let me know!
I think Eannatum of Lagash and Samsu-iluna of Babylon could fit in the list too
Out here giving the people what they want!!!
Υπέροχο τραγούδι Γιώργο. 👍 Χαιρετίσματα από την Αθήνα.
Ooooooo! A video on each Hellenistic kingdom….now that sounds amazing. Subscribing.
That would be a huge project. Another possibility is multi-video series on each kingdom. In a month or so, there will be a poll for everyone to decide which kingdom would we do first!
Happy New Year, Wanax! ❤🎉 And wish you all the luck in the world😊
Happy New Year!!! 🎊
Honestly, the best way to close 2023 😂, thank you for all your wonderful and informative work, stay strong and healthy, and please please give us more of your wonderful content! Happy New Year!! 🎉

Stan Muwatalli II
Happy New Year 🎆🎆🎆 Already looking forward to whatever you got in store for 2024! 🎆🎆🎆
Happy New Year!🎊
Thutmose III hands down
Happy 2024 everyone!
Have you ever heard of David Rohl’s book Lords of Avaris
Ramses II was the greatest. In times of big turmoil he succeeded to save his part of the world. Everyone collapsed except Egypt
Good choice!
Hattusili III too he made the peace treaty with Ramesses II and he became the father-in-law of Ramesses! So cool❤🤩
Ramses III saved Egypt not Ramses II.
You are the best Can you do a video on Palamides Trojan war
Missed Egyptian pharaon Thothmosis III.
happy new year if you do a seris about bronze age egypt could you do at least one joint video with the history of egypt podcast guy.
could you please do a similar video about the indian and chinesse generals of the bronze age
My favorites are the two brothers Hattusillis and Muwattilis, the victors of Khadesh
Good choice! 👍🏻
Well in my opinion Sargon of Akkad and Supiluliuma I deserve to go to the final and Sargon I think should win. He really did create the world's first empire coming from humble origins and was a source of inspiration until the Persian times.
Thothmos Iii
This video is diamond🦾🦾🦾🏛️
none among egyptian rulers
NO MOSES, NO JOSHUA????!!!!
No Gilgamesh,no Hercules too.He is cointing only historically characters.
