    • Glad you escaped safely Anton. Please get some PTSD help, you are still reliving some trauma from the incident. Rip to the coast guard plane crew and prayers for recovery of the captain. Really was a miracle that Airbus captain landed that plane and passengers were exited so quickly on emergency slides and could get out safely. Anton may be taking a ship home now, after that who would blame him?

  • Great video. Great escape too. Good that no passenger didn't rush and it is a blessing no one try to get his/her baggage else rest might follows. Heard that the key specific instructions were given while it is natural that human scream during disasters. E. G. -stay calm, remain seated, don't take any belongings, standby for crash landing position, watch the safetly video, cover the nose with wet cloth if possible, do not panic, help each other if needed...?? I believe Pilot and crew first priority is to land safely, in one piece to avoid further damages. Also look identify passenges that might health, disability issues or/prepare safefy aid kit..etc etc. It might would impossible for limited staff to calm passengers. Also, it would be another miracle if the crews or pilot have time to do announcement in different languages and what wording to this unwanted surprises as no one can see how badly from outside. Nevertheless, great to hear there are others who help to translate instead of adding the natural scream effecting. Next possible upgrades: 1. plane might need more cameras inside and outside the plane. 2. Emergency announcement and video play and trigger by emergency press button. In 2 languages too😊 3. Safe Exit doors indicator - thru video camera and Ai support. 4. Baggage compartment- auto lock state thru emergency trigger by crew captain. Last, hope the passengers remember to thank Pilots too😊

      @dangimer3919@dangimer39194 ай бұрын
    • From the pictures I have seen, the nose of the A350 hit the high tail of the Dash 8, the tail would have snapped off or bent out of the way. There are also dents in both engine intakes, I think these were caused by the engines hitting the high wing of the Dash, probable the flaps which would have been in the take off setting. The flaps wouldn't have caused a lot of resistance. This is all speculation but that is what the damage shows. Any impact would have occurred at almost exactly the same time as the landing so most people who felt or heard something just assumed it was part the the touch down.

    • It's not even the bins you need to worry about, it's the bags that people are supposed to keep tucked under the seat in front of them allowing clear access to the aisle, well they don't even fully tuck them and the minute we land they all grab them from under the seat. This is an uphill battle every day with American passengers. No one realizes or cares that taxi takeoff and landing are statistically the most dangerous phases of flight, when you pull out your bookbag while we are still on the tarmac taxiing in or you block aisle access with your bookbag by pulling it out and holding it between your feet you are part of the problem. Things can go array in the tarmac quickly and everybody rummaging through their bags before we are parked are the reason you're gonna trip and possibly not make it out in time if an accident occurs. Yet every day, I get pushback for asking grown American adults to simply keep their stuff stowed until fully parked. Asking Americans to comply with rules and regulations is like pulling teeth. They're the biggest group of hard headed entitled individuals you will ever find.

    • Try living with nothing, you know, in a room with no possessions, no money, no food, in the winter, in a country where a limited number of people understand English outside the airport and a minuscule number your native language of Swedish just after you almost died. Try talking to a policeman in English on the street and see what happens. I've done it in Tokyo and what happens is nothing because they haven't got the slightest idea what you are talking about. We don't know how much of his important papers and money he actually had on him and how much was in his carry-on that he would normally be clutching on the way out. Try getting to the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo without any money from Haneda. And how many people actually know the location of their embassy when they arrive anyway? Then see where _your_ priorities lie. When he made that video, he may not have even known that five people, on their way to help in supplying those suffering in the earthquake, had died. A wise man once said, "Judge not, lest ye be judged," or words sometimes translated that way. Another wise man once sang, "Walk a mile in my shoes. Before you abuse, criticize and accuse, walk a mile in my shoes." This is not someone who's famous and doesn't need money because everyone know he's a movie star or a billionaire, and will be thrilled to give him stuff in exchange for him saying publicly that they gave him stuff, someone with a retinue of people who would have been on the plane with him or ready to meet him, and make his life easy in an alien country. I'd be careful not to treat him like, say, Zsa Zsa Gabor complaining about a traffic stop in LA.
