  • So glad you guys revisited this. It's such a vast improvement from your last part of this story in terms of pacing, tone, and even the use of the in-game mechanics, HUD, and other aspects of Minecraft. The sound design was very well done and it wasn't confusing or muddled like in previous videos. The use of the broken record IRL was a very interesting and original touch to tie the worlds together. The presentation of the story and effects was much less heavy-handed and came off as more precise and practiced, so it really shows your confidence and competence. Really good job with matching parallax and objects, like the giant mushrooms in the Mushroom Fields/Mooshroom biome. It looked pretty seamless and sold the sense of scale very well. Using things like drone shots for the player view switch and panning out for the reveal was genius. Great job! Edit: I forgot to even mention the awesome props! Good job on making all those Minecraft items!

  • People say that content is hard to make, and it's true. We all have our pace at finishing something that may not only satisfy ourselves, but satisfy others. I loved this video a bunch, not just because of nostalgia, I love the amount of time and effort that was brought into it. You can still sense the magic that was there before, while still keeping a new story fresh and exciting! Most live action shorts I see feel rushed and uncooked, this has the love and care place into it. As someone who is still an OG in the Minecraft community, and an older viewer, seeing you guys continue this story even if it could've ended at part 2, is a giant blast on how you guys care about the story you're telling. All the props, the scenery, the cinematography, each of them feel so authentic to how the first ones were. They both feel like Minecraft with a giant spin and twist. I've also noticed you guys have kept up with the new updates and features that were added, makes sense if the "realism" gamemode was real. Quick Summary: This IS what Realistic Minecraft is...

  • This is an actual cinematic masterpiece. Every callback to The Hunt For Herobrine, and Herobrine Lives made my heart jump out of pure excitement. Your take on Disc 11 being his origin story is legitimately my new head canon for Minecraft, and felt very fitting! This honestly has to be one of the most well done films I've ever seen, both production wise, and from a pacing standpoint. Thanks for bringing back so many good memories. You've honestly and truly outdone yourselves. 11/10, definitely recommending this to everybody I know! Good job guys!

  • So there is some indefinite lore. Apparently, the last guy to kill Herobrine, was missing. Probably died of unknown circumstances. As this guy entered minecraft, he got dragged into the game, did what most minecraft users did at their first playthrough. At some point, he ends up finding a cave with some stuff that's on the floor.. What made him curious was the book that he saw on the floor. As he grabbed it, he knew it belonged to the guy who most people call Herobrine, probably a decade-old myth that i don't know if exists. He got to the Villager that was in most videos. Villager was angry cause of the last guy being not so friendly to the Villager and it gave him physical paranoia. So he thought that this version of steve was probably another guy who would steal the villager's stuff. But the Steve that's this version, stopped him. Showed him the book, the villager had a very intrusive reaction because of the book being Herobrine's.. The Villager gave him a sword, told him to use it on the book to enchant the sword into The Ender. As soon as he did what the villager perhaps or mumbled into telling him what to do. He proceeded to find Herobrine, incuriously trying to kill Herobrine. He got teleported by Herobrine. Herobrine kept on punching him, and on and on. Until he got back to the same place, hurriedly grabbed the sword, and stabbed Herobrine. Putting him through a series of memories that happened before Herobrine became who he is now. Then he realised.. he cannot get out anymore. He is stuck in the game forever. Apparently having the same outcome as the last guy who did it.

  • Words cannot express how happy I am to have seen this video! I saw the first and second video years ago, but was saddened by the rivalry the Villager and Steve had. I was so happy when they finally worked together and the Villager finally had a proper goodbye with not just Steve, but us! And the final battle was very nostalgic. Both times Steve killed Herobrine in the original two videos felt improper or incomplete, I’m happy they finally gave this series, this story, a proper ending

  • Wow, I'm really quite amazed by all of the incredibly picturesque scenery. Where did you guys shoot this? How did you find the location for all of these beautiful landscapes? I also love the way disc 11 was incorporated into Herobrine's origin story using a little imagination and creativity. Fantastic video, this is by far the best addition in the trilogy with some of the most outstanding effects I've ever seen, and a gripping story. Excellent work!

    • We’re glad you enjoyed it! We live in Saskatchewan which is where most of the locations were filmed (with the exception of the mountains and cave entrance being shot in the Rocky Mountains in Alberta).
