That "no look kick pass" made the World Cup history books 👌👍🇿🇦🇿🇦
We only doubt his kicking, his attacking ability is second to none.
Agreed. And the kicking game will make or break a world cup final for any team.
It's a small fix. Lower T and angle ball forward more of the T before kick. He'll come good.
@@Howzit73true that
@@Howzit73 if it's a small fix, shouldn't have been fixed already...? i think its a psychological thing, he struggles with big game moments
It's his Destiny. 'You must not doubt yourself , Son ... The power lays inside of You!' He must let go of the world around him, close his eyes and let the ancient Spirit of the God's of Kicking control his kicking boot. We hv seen it!? ...and it was beautiful🎉😢 He is the chosen One. We must all belief 😮
we have waited to song for a 10 like him, kicking at poles can be fixed. class cannot. he has it all. the kicks at poles is the easiest to correct. also another option is a Monty situation where someone else takes the kicks at poles and let Manie weave his magic.
The issue is there's no one else unless Pollard is there. Man, the RSA backline is so stacked its a fhuken joke
Just get goal kicks in this tournament!
def very stacked. i think long term they could look at willemse to kick if hes the 15 moving forward? @@KR-jg7gc
He is a special talent , can kick on both legs and has all the running attributes to be an attacking force , if he can improve his goal kicking he might just become the greatest fly half since Dan carter
Really? He can KICK with both legs? The thing is, he has to kick it through the poles....

I think we should all back him because he brings alot to the attacking play of the team even if his kicks aren't as reliable...I feel someone else should just kick like faf or willemse.
Don’t know if you’ve noticed but the problem is the all three players you just mentioned have an international kicking record of 60%
😂😂😂 yeah tried that already 😢
…like Faf…are you OK buddy?
He’s a great dynamic attacking player and brings a different dimension to our game. BUT we play at the absolute highest level, higher than any other team in the world, and that demands coping with the pressure at that level. If we lose the WC because we force it with him, it will only hurt him. Leaving 11 points out on the field is inexcusable.
@andreschoeman1317 yea let's just hope pollard will do good this weekend
We don't doubt him at all he does a brilliant job on the field I thought I didn't understand why he missed those kicks on SA vs Ireland but now I understand the game plan and I'm proud of the entire Springboks team, the country is proud of you Mannie Libbok I know you can do even better you've got the potential never doubt yourself.

" Libbok The Ultimate Bok "
Love this from you Die Hard Rubgy
Of all the highlight reels I’ve watched, this one was the most recent.
Manie is a natural rugby footballer.
Does not matter if he plays well otherwise. A fly-half needs to be able to kick for goal. Pollard plays just as well and possibly even better, but most importantly, can kick. Just a fact.
He is a brilliant player, end of discussion... He should be allowed to improve or if Pollard is in the team than he should be the kicker
the main problem with pollard, is that his kicking stats are not at the level of a morne Steyn or a Percy Montgomery and he is not a better centre than Esterhuizen, Damian de Allende, Luk Am, Jesse Kriel or Canan Moodie. His kicking stats in every boks test he's played is only around 73%. The rest is hype, marketing and influencers. Manie is light years ahead of Pollard., Pollard had a long shit stint in 2021. Manie will fix it once the marketing men shut up and the coaches grow a pair of balls. Springboks have finally unearthed a fly half who can weave magic - and the old guard doesn't like it because although he can speak Afrikaans, he looks too Khoi San African.
Manie is my favorite new springbok, how ironic is it that he struggles with post kicking now that its world cup where we always need those 3 points in the end in quarters semis and finals, he is gonna fix it and be great i just wish he was ready for it with this world cup
Give him some time… After leaving the Lions Sharks Bulls nobody even took note of his skill at those clubs until the Stormers saw a skill that needs maturing.. Dobbie and team well done producing national colours…If Rassie is smart get his Stormers kicking and skills coach to France ASAP
Give him time???? We’re you born stupid or did you take lessons? There is NO TIME! It’s the quarter finals of the RWC in 2 weeks time, so when do you want to give him time, when the other teams are playing the semis and the final and SA is headed home? Would you still be saying give him time if the Ireland game was knock out and it was over? Wtf, you’re lucky dumb statements aren’t a crime or you’d be facing a life sentence!
There is no time left. I hope Pollard has a great game against Tonga, both of the tee and in general play. We need him.
@@Alias-gy3tz no we really dont but aight
@@StoepZulu I'm VERY happy Pollard is back. He is a MUCH better flyhalf than Manie. He never should have been left out of the squad to begin with, injury or not.

You are like the coaches who has a hard time letting old legends go, etc Daune/ mapimps and especially FAF You need to learn, just because a player was amazing a coulpe of years ago does't mean they still are. Libbok outplays pollard, it's clear as day, if he could get pollard's post kicking then he will be one of if not the best 10 currently in world rugby, but how about we be adults about this. Sunday night after the game we will see who is right.
thanx for the comic relief lmfao
Big. Match. Temperament. I find he takes a while to get in to his kicking mind set when he is wearing the bok jersey. Next world cup he is going to be flawless.
I think he should play flyhalf because he can make good decisions under pressure and then they should put handrè pollard on inside centre (12)
Or he can go work on on his shitty defence and kicking and come back when he deserves the role! We keep having to rejig the whole team for mediocre quotas! Siya should be benched as he showed against Ireland again that he can't be counted on to fetch, but kwagga and Marco can buvthey are benched? Make it make sense

Exactly. He should have worked on that aspect of his game, he was brought into the team because Willemse is a below par goalkicker. People seem to forget that.
Balance is what we need ... let him play his game and then having Pollard on the bench will help his confidence.
How would having an inferior flyhallf who is like a sword of Damocles over his head thanks mostly to hype around 5 matches not the real stats of Pollard over his Boks career "help his confidence"???/

Apologies for asking in the comment section, I couldn't see how to send your channel a message directly: Any chance you could do a highlight video on Virimi Vakatawa? I know you usually just do South Africans but the guy was so fun to watch, and he's back playing rugby again now! Really enjoy the channel. Cheers.
His got everything this boy 🤞, super talented. Kicking, runs and attacking 10/10. South Africa we are blessed with such talent 👏👏👏👏🌅
Pollard has consistently been one of the top 3 fly halves in the world for 5 years. The knockout stages of the World Cup you CANNOT leave points on the field, which Pollard doesn’t. There are no second chances, and the Ireland game should pose absolutely no debate as who should be playing. It’s ridiculous that this is even a debate!
Yeah let's pray to the rugby gods that hopefully tough games penalties goes our way. And drop out an on form try creating machine. We have the perfect combination at this moment. Technical forward pack with the dangerous back line . We should win every game. Outscoring everyone via tries.
NZ had a similar dilemma back in the 80's with the reliable boot of Grant Fox and the exciting Frano Botica, history chose the reliable
There is only one Manie Libbok... *Springbok Libbok...* Pollard is good, but he'll have to dig deep to better what we have seen in this video.
He is an awesome player❤
Some of those passes in the Ireland game I've only seen Finn Russell or Owen Farrell do before.
Great player..going to do great things for the Boks. Go Manie💪🏽🇿🇦
It's his first time in the world cup which is on a next level. He will get use to it and kick better ❤
Ek stem vir hom 100%. Ongelukkig kan hy nie skop nie, sover nie in die wêreld beker nie. Hy het egter ñ blink toekoms in rugby. Ons laaste wedstryd het sy skoppe ons laat verloor.

We need to get behind him!
Manie is a talented player - no doubt about it - but at this level you have to be a complete player and that includes goal kicking which for the moment is his weak point and bring a huge amount of criticism - which is good for him. So in order for him to develop - he needs to address that aspect and very quickly.
Now please tell me who in your mind is the complete flyhalf for the Boks?
Great video bud! This decision really will be a head scratcher for the coaches.
Don't doubt him!
Legend in the making ❤❤❤
so is a pig rolling around in shit
Only if there is someone in the team covering his backside when it comes to goalkicking. He needs to sort that out.
Incredible man of rugby 🏉 action a future captain 👏
If only Rassie Erasmus can play a game plan that suits Manie Libbok than we don't have to worry about kicks like we did againts the All Blacks at Twickenham
First time i saw a Fly Half get reclaced a minute 30. The more important the game, the more he disapiers
He is fire 🔥
No one is doubting his attack - they're doubting his kicking and terrible defense. After Ireland saw Cam Roigard, the NZ number 9, run straight through libbok to score NZ's only try at Twickenham, what did they do? A set move where Aki runs at Libbok...and what happened? He ran straight over him and it led to Ireland's only try against us. You think other coaches aren't seeing that?
his defence is better than Pollards! thats a fact so.... hes kicking right now is dire... but i know hes the right man for the job to get the boks to be a champion side for years to come, and not just every 4 years
@@garthmanuel5701 hahahahahahahahahahaha. Mate, Roigard is a 9. Have you ever in your life seen a 9 run through Pollard? Pollard is literally known for being a great defensive 10...he's nearly 100kg, Libbok is 75kg. Go watch the Ireland game again.
@@dcs4880 Roigard ran through Kwagga, Moodie, RG, Damian and then Manie. Are you sure it's not you singling him out like this is not perhaps personal? Because you certainly aren't judging him to the same standards as the other 4....
@@Karma-qt4ji Um no...Kwagga did not miss a tackle on him, Kwagga had just ripped the ball and then dived for it on the ground, he ducked under Moodie, Willemse tried to catch him from behind and probably should have got him...but Manie he ran straight THROUGH...big big difference. And what do you mean personal? Do you think I personally know libbok? Every neutral pundit, including the Irish pundits, are saying that if Pollard played that game we would have won. You have a very short memory - his last game for the boks he was man of the match, he was in unbelievable form for Leicester (go watch his highlights) and...and...we KNOW we can win a world cup with him at 10. If that game against Ireland was a quarter final, we'd be out and you'd be here still defending libbok, because you're clearly blind. Nice one.
@@dcs4880 Pollard missed a few tackles pre 2019 and after in the Lions test he was a shadow of himself..hes kicking was horrendous, couldnt even find touch. remember how the fans were callign for him to get dropped BECAUSE OF HIS DEFENCE?
If he fixes that he’s perfect
Still, the coach himself doubted his kicking and replaced him with the eternal Pollard.
Manie is a superstar so watch the space

The best fly half
Manie is the GOAT 10
excellent player
Manie is one of the best flyhalves in the world..his line kicking and attacking ability is second to none..how sad all people can judge him on a few kicks to poles he misses. All kickers go though this. Without doubt one of the best fkyhalves
Not judging, you want to win not look good , its a test you fail if you dont win period
But he have to up his goalkicking
Manie the first 50 min. Then Pollard comes on in the last 30 with the bomb squad, and any penalty within the 50 we can go for goal. Apply attacking pressure in the first 50, no one better than yours truly.
I love libbok
He's a champion. Hands off Libbok you naysayers who can't even do a 100m sprint.
World cup pressure is insane, and needs experience - class player
Id like to see his stormers teammate... The no12 in the springboks.. what a funken runner on to contact... With this guy at 12.. the stomers 10 12. Combo is hectic
Manie needs to adapt the way he prepares for the kick. He takes forev er to get on with it and places pressure on himself and ends up having to hurry the kick before the time runs out
Absolutely love Manie, his attackign game and kicking out of hand is fantastic. Only two things I worry about is his kicking off the tee and the showboating when he scores a try, which will come back to bite him some day if he isn't careful.
It's the only time the ICEMAN shows emotion on the field. So, let's give him that pleasure now and again. But surely he will go down as one of the Best Flyhalves if we and his coaches believe in him. Dobson,Jaques and Rassie.
@@riccardovanwyk8188 Brah what are you talking about? He shows emotion whenever the team scores or for example when his kick-pass went to Arendse, and rightly so he deserves to celebrate that. And I agree he could be one of the greats in a Bok jersey. But that "it's his passion" BS doesn't pass the sniff test. He's a professional first and foremost, and his job is to score points. He can celebrate once the points are in the bag.
his game will only get better
I am a big Manie Libbok fan and I really hope he finds his grove.
He has a groove, just not consistent enough at the poles. Why hasnt Willemse taken the role as he did Stormers before moving to fullback

@@travismailsa1 yeah, I think the Willemse kicking issues has come to the fore mostly playing for the Boks. Also he doesn't consistently kick for the Stormers, does he? That being said, I'd have him at 15 in my team any day of the week and twice on Sundays, but not to do the kicking. I'd be hesitant to describe Libbok as the best right now, but he's right up there, for sure.
Manie should stay on flyhalf and Pollard be brought in at inside centre. That way you have a great attacking flyhalf with a solid place kicker.
the bulls doudt him, 👀where he is now. 🙏dont him🙌he will win us this RWC
First bushman flyhalf
Nobody doubts Manie Libbok and what he brings to the team.Truth is SA needs a reliable goal kicker and the only one who can make the team otherwise happens to play in Manie’s position. If we had a reliable kicker who played in another position than 10 this whole sometimes polarising decision would not have arisen.Manie can also help by trying adjustments to his kicking style.Experienced kickers have commented on some adjustments but doing the same thing and achieving the same result is not the answer.
The Boks need to hire a kicking coach and appoint him to support him. Then the Stormers needs to do the same thing or hire the same guy. Have a sporting psychologist at hand. Nurture the talent and reap the rewards.
Cool
Manie will make world player of the year within the next 5 years (touch wood)
Don’t think you understand that if he can’t kick, we can’t win the World Cup.
We could have won that game, even with his kicking, but we chose to replace Marx with a fly half and not a hooker. With one throw of the ball, Deon Fourie potentially lost us more points than Manie, turning an attacking lineout on the 5y to a defensive scrum for Ireland through an unforced error; he then played loose forward instead of hooker in the final move of the game and did not get to the tail of the maul to secure the ball as all of our hookers do. That is the gamble that we took when we did not bring Dweba in and I said that at the time - of course I was shouted down by the PollyFans. If Dweba had started with his Stormers team mates, Bongi come on with his regular partners, chances are we would have done better at the death because Bongi knows what to do and has scored plenty times from there, including a clock-in-the-red win against France. Of course, with an average kicker on the field with 15 forwards, I have to question why the fuck we were going for the Hail Mary kicks in the first place...??? The Ireland forwards should have been out on their feet at the end there but we let them off the hook for the first 60-70 minutes; no mauls, no kicks to the corner (where Manie is BRILLIANT), just playing off the top and down the backline in one move. Why??
1:15 why should it only be up to him to kick? When Pollard was at10 against the Brittish Lions, Morné was called up to do a crucial last minute kick...
@@Karma-qt4jia good question...it had to have been a management call to kick in stead of corner kicks placing us close to the Irish tryline...the guys on the field definitely did not decide on this strategy. Maybe the idea was to actually give Manie more opportunity to regain his confidence...who knows...
@@Karma-qt4jiI really shouldn’t have to explain to you the simple fact that no team has ever and will never win a World Cup with 60% in the knockout stages. It’s that simple.
Manie will learn to kick in World Cup conditions with confidence and become the greatest Springbok we've ever seen. They must just set up posts that are 1 meter wide and let him practise kicking through them for a week or 2. Then we'll see...
Gonna be difficult to beat the Boks.
Give Manie another year or two and he will be a far better kicking fly half. If managemrnt and coaches know what the problem is with Manie Libboks kicking snd work with him with the help of a kicking coach then yes he will be on parr but i believe Manie is going to shock his critics.
World cup is now😂
…and the 2023 RWC?, must we forget about this?
His kicking has an easy fix, get him a lower tee and fix his angle of his run up
An attacking flyhalf is good maybe but winning the game is better. So he has to get his goalkicking right otherwise the attacking side means nothing.
In a world cup where there is a record number of penalties how do you expect to win TEST RUGBY when you can’t kick for poles We have all forgiven him because we’ve been winning but Ireland is a wake-up call

Brilliant player, its a shame hes kicking is an issue, if he could only get that right at test match level he would be complete
He lacks BMT, that is the problem.
A springbok level Fly half Should be able to kick. No excuses. His kick from hands and attacking finesse should see him on fullback, not fly half.(eh ehm Damian willemse) Played rugby with Club level Fly halfs that could slot 80% over a season, at springbok level i find it very…very hard to believe there is no better fly half full on offer in our country. Doesn’t matter how good your attack on ball is if you leave 11-15 points a game on the field there is simply no making up for it at test match level.
