The fact that Edvin was literally a fanboy of Omar before their audition together and recognized his face right away is INSANEE to me - they have such amazing chemistry on screen, it translates so noticeably in real life too

Jimmy finding out that they dub their own voices is hilarious but totally understandable because it's very rare for that to be the case in English dubbed foreign series.

@@asian6oy Oh actually, the actor that plays Marseille, Luka Peros, does it. He is Croatian, fluent in multiple languages. He dubs his role in Money Heist in English, Spanish, German and Portugese! Pretty cool! :)
I am glad he asked about the dubbing because I have seen the English version (as I don’t speak Swedish lol) and could tell they are not native speakers so I figured it’s the original voices but couldn’t be sure. Awesome anyway!

Edvin Ryding is such a good actor. I felt every emotion from his acting in Young Royals. It felt so real and natural. I really hope that he gets to be in international projects so that we can see his awesome acting in future.

I'm confused because I've actually heard Edvin pronounce his last name as "Reading" in Swedish interviews....maybe Jimmy was just trying to pronounce it as close as possible to the Swedish pronunciation, just a thought🤷🏻♀️ So very proud of our beautiful boys!
Everyone is laughing about how he pronounced their names but I think it was pretty close. Not perfect but closer to their "real" pronounciation than any non swede I've heard 🤷

@@pleaseparkjimininmygarage-6212 They start filming Season 3 in the Spring, they haven't announced a definite month but I assume March since the story of Season 2 ended in March (Ep 4 was Valentine's day). They always film 3 months for 6 episodes so they'll be done with filming in June at the earliest. Then a couple of months of postproduction follow. So I assume Season 3 will come out Autumn 2023 or Winter 2023... But I hope we'll see a lot of interviews and promotional stuff until then.

This show is slick amazing. The onscreen chemistry is crazy. I just started watching this show yesterday and bruh I have laughed so hard at times but I'm also fluidly drained from crying so much. When he saw Simon on a date and freaked out. 😳 Felt that.

Didn't know about them and the tv series so I went and binge watch the 2 seasons within 24 hours. I'll definitely watch them again as it was hard to keep up with the subtitles. Kudos 👍🏾

@@paravak9393 i know but I like watching films in their native language. Watching dubbed movies is bizarre to me as I feel the voices don't convey the true emotions of the actors, if that make sens.
Sometimes they spoke very fast so I had to rewind a bit to catch all the subtitles. By now, I've watched all of S1-S2 about 4 times at least.
@@OumyNeferti I worked out that they dubbed it themselves because they were totally on point with the chemistry, it worked perfectly.
These cuties deserve all the attention they are getting. As does Young Royals (it’s a must-watch!). Edvin and Omar’s chemistry is unmatched. And Wilhelm’s and Simon’s LOVE is so magical. 🥰Their charisma and talent is taking them around the 🌎, as it should! 💜👑
"Young Royals" was never popular only in Sweden. It became a worldwide phenomenon the moment Season 1 was released. Edvin has been an actor almost all of his life. Omar's career as a singer is also international. Not a word was said about his solo career, after the boy band. To be honest, the interview could have been done so much better.

It’s a marvelous series, with excellent acting. It’s hard to believe that this is Omar’s first acting experience. Edvin is a wonderful actor. Their chemistry is off the charts. I’m impressed with their grasp of English. Looking forward to the third season.

Young Royals is such a good show, I remember getting hooked within the first five minutes after going in knowing absolutely nothing, and Omar and Edvin seem like such nice people I'm so excited to see what they do going forward!

@stell6556 Omar was born in Venezuela and soon moved to Sweden where his mother married a Swede. Maybe his mother is Swedish as her name is Wilnur which is not a Hispanic name, as far as I know.
They are amazing!!!💜 Season 3 comes out next month! Episode 1-5 will be released on March 11th and episode 6 the series finale on March 18th! 🎉

I just binged this show and while I didn't know until now that they did the dubbing I did suspect because they were absolutely perfect and I just knew the chemistry was there beyond what dubbing would do. I adore this show so much and my regret is not seeing it much sooner I have had an amazing time and cannot wait for series 3!

@@nybriag7663 Yes, I learned the hard way after watching Squid Game in English. I should've watched it in the original. I watched YR in Swedish with English subtitles first. Then again with the dub. I still prefer it in Swedish, but liked the little extra you get with hearing the background actors too.

It's really great to see an american company like Netflix bring out the best of other countries actors and screenwriting and promote it to an international audience. In a world of british and american movie culture, that was almost impossible before.

So happy for them!! Within the first episode of the first season, Young Royals quickly jumped up my list of favorite shows to the top spot, and season 2 only enhanced the magic. Season 3 will be bittersweet but I hope these two can continue to find success and tell more of these kinds of stories!

The song "The most beautiful boy" together with prince Wilhelm's looking at us right after Simon smiles, as season two ends, is so meaningful, so beautiful. Prince Wilhelm's eyes tell everything, so royal. I've been listening to the song "timeless" (and crying sometimes) and watching the two seasons repeatedly. As if I could be a teen again. Haha. 💕 😭 💕 Looking forward to watching season 3. No hurry.
