  • If you do another one of these, make a 1 key keyboard. Pressing the key cycles through all the letters/numbers/symbols/functions/etc. Holding the key inputs what its on.

  • Here's another approach to a keyboard you can only use once, per-se. A keyboard composed of those keys with little screens (Streamdeck keys?), and every time you press a key, that letter will swap places with another one.

    • I thought about this, genuinely. I ended up concluding that the keyboard just shorting after an arbitrary number of keypresses is just... Not that interesting. Along a similar train of thought I'm planning a keyboard that explodes after 100 key presses but it's a tiiiiiny bit dangerous by myself

  • To me, when I thought of "Keyboard that works once," is a keyboard that either each key only works 1 time after you press it, or a keyboard that will continue to type until you stop typing for X amount of seconds, and then the keyboard will stop working/malfunction and wont work again (This could be made as some sort of gag/challenge keyboard where it can measure how many words, wpm, time that the person was able to do before stopping and then it wont work anymoer until you reset it).
