Did y'all look into the pastors girlfriend? She was married to a man that suddenly drown 2 yrs ago. The pastor did his funeral service. He was dating her while still with Micca. You can't tell me there's nothing suspicious with the girlfriends husband's death and now micca. Also dig into the pastor's dad. He has a really messed up past.

My gut tells me if he didn't pull the trigger, he was responsible for her struggles. His girlfriend should fear involvement with him. He is already assigning his second divorce to Mica's mental health struggles. I assure you Mica was abused and suffered from PTSD. Her family and friends know the real story about her marriage.

Most women don’t use a gun to commit suicide; it’s hanging or meditating oneself. I know 2 women and they committed suicide by hanging. Both were single. Obviously the marriage was in trouble and they were separated. Why was he using a tracking device. He wanted to shut her up for many reasons. Domestic violence and emotional abuse is just as bad. She said that men use a gun a lot times, & you can see how the deep depression had been going on for awhile because the home is messy, dirty dishes everywhere with old, rotten food on the plates where they were just too depressed to do anything. On the other hand, women choose a clean method or the make the method easy for others to clean up, meaning that women who slit their wrists do it in the bathtub so the police can just pull the plug & everything will go down the drain or they take pills & just lie down on their bed or a couch. As soon as I heard that, I thought that’s so on point for how men & women are so different. It seems like every female suicide by gun that I’ve heard of from crime shows turned out to be murder by the husband that was staged as suicide.

Me too! I escaped narrowly, but lost my kids forever. No one assists us - the police say they can’t do anything unless there is clear evidence against someone. Well, we can’t call for help if we are dead! Absolutely horrific! Survivors of this abuse is always detrimental and the suffering is immeasurable. PTSD for life.
I was with a narcissist and suffered mental, verbal and physical abuse. I made it out 🙏 However, he's incapable of letting me live in peace. These individuals are mentally ill. To the outside world, they are kind, sweet, helpful etc. Narcissists are master manipulators! It's so sad, Mica didn't see another way out 😢

I got out of an abusive marriage at the 3 year point. I Left my home with just my animals. He kept one cat from me, and my clothing. Lured me back, saying I could pick up my cat and my clothes. But had a gun and said that would be the day he killed me then himself. He NEVER took a day off from work. But chose that day, to stay home, to kill me, himself, ,,, showed me the gun. I did not know Gid at that time but found myself praying to Him. He told me in my mind what to do,,,, and He MADE A WAY IF ESCAPE,,,, what followed was not easy. Lawyers, me asking my Mom to take me in,,, it was the beginning of my coming to God forever,, and ever,,,, I still look over my shoulder. It was over 30 yrs ago.

Told me to take off my clothes. I said “ Bill, I left my keys in the car, can I get them,,,” I was praying “ God help me, please please help me get away,,, “ God told me to get in the car,,, DRIVE AWAY FAST,, I did. Straight home to the duplex I had rented. Called my Mom. My beautiful Mom said “get the dogs, and what you need , I’m coming to get you. “. She did. He showed up at my Moms that night. She talked to him thru the door saying “ I’m calling the police Bill, get the hell out of here”!!! He did,,, she worked for the public Defenders office, and knew what to do. There was a feeling of PROTECTION ALL AROUND ME,,, and I could not explain it any way other than God heard me.

As a person whose best friend WASMURDERED BY HER HUSBAND, and abused for years before that I can tell you, in no uncertain terms that if someone like Mica refuses to leave, (and that happens a LOT) You cannot FORCE them to leave. He had threatened to kill me, if I ever confronted him a 2nd time about the abuse he was doing to her. We were closest friends fir 6vyears. We worked together every single day. And when not working on weekends, spent time together going to yard sales, thrift shops, craft shows, etc., The man had a reputation of violence, not just his wife, but younger men, that worked with him, or for him, In the logging industry. She went to their Church elders to try and get him to stop. She went to his family. Nothing Mattered. Nothing! She TRULY believed that when he finally snapped completely, he would make good on the death threats to me as well as anyone else he had threatened. The night he murdered her ( with a framing hammer & a hatchet, he was out of town, in another state, 3 hours away. He drugged their daughter, put her in his truck, and drove like crazy back here visciously killed her, and then turned around and drive like hell back to motel where all of his workers ( and him) stayed while clearing and loading logs for that particular job. We BEGGED HER, over & over to come stay with us that night,. He had her totally believing that nothing could stop him.
No way, she would end her life with her positive attitude and future plans to worship & continue to move about the issues she was passionate about!

Well for one because he’s cheating. When he cheated on his first wife, got criminal charges when he groomed Mica he was let go and couldn’t be a pastor for three years . She was young. But we can only hope the church is smart enough to know what’s really going on besides cheating.

I am friends with her mom and I just still dont buy it. Was their gun powder on her hand, how was she positioned, where and when did she buy the gun. Her faith was so great and I cant see her taking her life that God gave her away. I just cant! Was there NO cameras around, cant they see her actually doing it as it was a park and many towns have cameras.

She was making happy plans for a new life! Haircut appointment, divorce papers served to JP and a new job! Suicidal people are not going around telling people they were afraid for her life. She could have been forced to make the 911 call by someone else threatening her maybe threatening to hurt her family, who knows?
Every sheriff, every police, all lawyers and judges need to wake up to thoroughly understand the issue of domestic abuse in this country! My abuser laughed when he received 1 night in jail back in 2017, yet I am still suffering from the injuries he inflicted upon me, still need treatments in my neck and back due to the violence he caused. And I found I was the third woman he had physically assaulted. I am blessed to have survived. GOD was with me that day. The abuse needs to STOP! Too many women are being hurt and killed by these horrible acts! If you are being abused, please report it and get the help you need. Mica's family and loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers!

The police didn’t name Chris Watts as their suspect or person of interest… even tho he was their prime suspect. They played to tight in order to get a confession from him. And it worked… we have seen this strategy many times. Not saying that’s what’s happening here. Just that the fact there isn’t a named suspect doesn’t mean the police aren’t looking at a suspect.
I am friends with her mom, a few answers to these questions, yes he has a girl friend, her name was suzi. This girl had such big faith there is NO way she would take the life God gave her away, No way! I want to see receipts and video of her buying the gun…they always have that, and if she had a gun why did she never used it to protect herself before…?? Also, was their gun shot residue on her hand, how was she slouched, is their cameras around the area as it was a park…?? To see what happened. Another thing, most women do not use a gun to commit suicide, just saying. Mica was making plans, she got out and away from him, she was starting over, why commit suicide now…?? I absolutely do not believe it. I will see what her mom says after tomorrow!

JLR Investigates has been on scene since Saturday and was invited to film and document the rally for Mica on Sunday and the beachside vigil. He also went to the park this morning and saw zero cameras! He has all of these videos on his KZhead channel.

If you look at statistics- Women are more likely to take pills or something less violent if they do this. Only a very small percentage use a firearm. It will be interesting to hear the medical examiner's report. Something doesn't seem right here for sure.He (the husband) immediately blames her ? And who has adrenaline running through them after finding out a loved one has passed? I've never had that reaction.
This is actually not true. In the United States, firearms are the #1 method used in suicide DEATHS. Women often "try" less lethal ways to commit suicide, but in actual deaths by suicide, it's firearms, followed closely by poisoning, then suffocation. Here's a quote from page 21 of my book (Time Stood Still) regarding the latest statistics: "There were 3.9 male deaths by suicide for each female death by suicide, however, 3 females attempted suicide for every 1 suicide attempt by a male." Later on page 111 is the graph showing all of the statistics. I used to believe this also, but after losing my wife to suicide with a pistol and years of research into the subject afterwards, I learned this is not accurate.

Yeah, adrenaline has never been a part of any grieving process I have ever gone through and I have been in that exact position of losing a spouse I was separated from.
My husband is a pastor. He is admired and respected in the community. The mental abuse is awful. I have put all my stuff in storage. I went to San Francisco and Puerto Rico to get away. He told me to kill myself, and went to get the pistol from the safe. He has called around to figure out how he can have me committed….then he love bombs me saying I’m the most beautiful woman in the world and he can’t live without me. On and off like a light switch. He held a tree trimmer to my face, turned it on, and yelled profanities at me last night. I just sat there and ignored him.
Make a plan of escape. But get out and don't let him know anything ahead of time.

The church is in SC and the medical examiner is in NC because she died in NC so NC has jurisdiction and they are handling the investigation. So there is NO way they have any “SC sway” over here in NC….we have our own way of dealing with DV issues so if it’s related to DV they’ll make sure they issue the information accordingly
I'm thinking if the majority of us who is not buying Mica self induced by her own free will, then there has to be some detectives who are on the case isn't buying it either. Mica left hints and info behind that says she didn't unalive herself, I hope her voice isn't being disregarded without investigating everything she has left behind for the LE to look into.
He has a history of abusive and controlling behavior. Even if she did take her life, how do we know he didn't force her to do it by threatening their kids? We may never know, but I truly hope that if he is involved, justice will be served.

I’m confused how he knew the cause of dead not even 24 hours after she passed if he didn’t pay someone off or do it himself. It takes time for medical examiners to get the cause of death and there’s no way you would know the night of. It just seems like a set up to me. So sus I don’t believe it. There needs to be a larger investigation that needs to be done over this whole situation. The police may need to reopen the case of his girlfriend’s husband’s death as well.
To me "self induced" could have been totally deliberate if you look at the context of Mica's videos and statements to police. "Self induced" to me means "she caused what happened to her even if she didn't actually pull the trigger". Like as an abuser he could lie while looking like he was telling the truth. "Self inflicted" means she actually did the action that caused her immediate death.
She told her sister if she ends up with a bullet in her head that the husband did it. That makes me think he threatened her by saying he was going to put a bullet in her head. Anyone who puts a tracker on their wife’s car… She sounds controlling.

My mom was married to a pastor who abused her left bruises on her, bit her! I saw the bite marks on her chest and tried to save her. I buried her a couple years later! If a person no matter what occupation they hold shows you who they are believe them! Get out as soon as possible, don't end up leaving this world because someone says they love you while they beat you behind closed doors! Once anyone man or woman crosses the line of abusing someone they claim to love the abuse victims time on this earth is limited! The abuser will go one step to far, they will take your life it will leave pain for all of your family and friends and they will be devastated because they couldn't get you to leave!
