My life-long neighbor and block-club president Bernard"Stonewall"Jackson brought this to my attention in 1990,as I and a few buddies were sitting on Ms. Quicks front porch with:"P"is smarter than the rest of you guys. HE has on a RED cap;so all the girls are going to SEE him FIRST!!" I went home later that evening and rsearched"Color"in my World Book Encyclopedia and found out red is not simply"louder"than other colors,but that it REACHES your eyes FIRST!!

    • Facts. A person who refuses to be authentic with someone, does not love them. Being authentic should happen with most people you meet in life. That has to happen 1st before any kind of relationship can form. Getting to know each other, then becoming friends, falling in love, establishing an emotional connection, sharing intimate parts of yourself that you dont share with anyone else... none of that can happen without both people being genuine and authentic. And somehow my husband expects me to believe he loves me although he refuses to be genuine. He doesnt understand how much of a tell of truth that truly is. Sorry for the too personal info. I'm stuck in a twilight zone marriage and just need a little validation that I'm not crazy. Well I am crazy, but I'm not wrong about authenticity being necessary for love and marriage. 💔

  • I liked the video....but do not agree with some points...in my particular case....but I'm sure others will agree. 1. when I was single I always had specific and high standards for what I found attractive in the opposite sex....but I became more accepting of different attractiveness (wider range) after I entered my long-term relationship. this is opposite to the video......you could say that I decided to settle for his looks (that was not quite my type) because his personality was better than those that had the looks of my exes but not the other qualities that matter in longterm relationships.....and now I am extremely attracted to him....i know that there are other people with similar experiences. 2. facial hair on men, does not make someone look attractive or not, it is the overall look....some facial structures and features along with colouration look better with facial hair and some don't.......even those that do look better with facial hair, it's not any facial hair style that looks good on them. different lengths and shapes of facial hair suit different faces......i would never be able to say that I like facial hair on men generally speaking......I LOVE facial hair, on the faces that look good with facial hair, as long that the style and length suit that face. 3. I believe that the words beauty and attractiveness have a lot in common and can be used interchangeably but in some cases, they are very different. I believe that in a number of areas of the video the word attractiveness was used interchangeably with the word/meaning beauty, but not at the part of the video when it was said that to be attractive one doesn't need to have certain features and that what makes someone attractive, is self-grooming and health that stand for attractivness....NO, not really. The word "attractiveness" in this part represents "good image", which is also attractive. The thing is that different "things" can be attractive: natural beauty (doesn't matter if overweight or underweight, well-groomed or not, good sense of style or good taste) genetic features that make one attractive, and good image (taking cake of appearances/image with grooming exercise and finding a style that suits your body and face type). The naturally beautiful individual who takes care of their appearance will be WAY MORE attractive than an average individual that takes care of their appearance (in comparison, the latter might even be considered unattractive). What makes someone beautiful is the relation and balance of all their features...not a specific feature. Maybe not all scientists but only the ones who's research was used in the making of this video, have a weak grasp on "beauty"....their conclusion in the video was that if all attractive people do not share a feature therefore facial features do not make someone beautiful.....WRONG. I'll give an analogy, a room is made up of flooring, ceiling, walls, windows, doors, trim/mouldings, furniture and accessories. A room isn't beautiful if it has a "specific feature" such as a specific window or floor.......what makes a room beautiful is the balance and how all these features work together. So, yes, a face, isn't beautiful just because it has a specific chin or nose, but it is beautiful due to the balance (face symmetry) and how all the features look in relation to each other..... Yes, it's all about the structure and features of the face.....as a whole....t's art.

  • Here is the science from research in many countries many studies: 1. Males and females are both attracted most,strongly statistically to average faces that are symmetrical... 2. How closely one side matches the other predicts how attractive the face is rated overall. 3. Same with the body..asymmetry on the outside is a predictor of assymetry internally while symmetry predicts genetic health.. 4.We are all attracted to indicators of health: good teeth dental.hygiene, shiny hair,.clear eyes. 5. In women high hip to waist ratio, average weight are perceived as attractive...the wide hips predict ease of childbirth. 6. In men wider shoulders and narrower hips, an,average weight but muscled body...not extreme, is.prefered. 7.Some cultures like women to be of lower or more.weight that is culturally determined. 8.Signs of genetic abnomality are perceived as less attractive, low set ears, extra digits, etc even attached earlobes indicate less than average genetic internal normalality. Anyone with five or more of the seven most common anatomical abnormalities will,be perceived as less attractive one or two are not very predictive. 9.Some outliers LIKE some unusual features. I for example am attracted to longer and larger than average noses in men likely due to my Anglo Saxon ethnic heritage in which both genders.tend to have long noses on average. Yet I also.find some Middle Eastern,.Italian, Spanish ie substantial noses not my heritage attractive while I find tiny noses on men unattractive. I myself have a smaller shorter nose than average for my ethnic heritage so.perhaps I am pushed in mate choice to select.for genes that will balance my "too small" nose in my offspring and in fact that HAS been the case with. my offspring...interesting hypothesis at least. • I tend to find more atractive not the regular people, but the ones who have differebt carachteristics. And some i can even manipulate my mind to find a person atractive. But the better atraction and real is when i just look at someone and you just get that atraction. I had that university collegue girl...I didn't find her beautiful at first time, because it was more than that, but like, some day, i had to write something on her back, and i felt a strong smell coming from her. Like i couldn't handle...

  • I don't see much chat about what studies have proven about human attraction and the base, genetic and animal drives that we conceptualise as part of human culture. We ARE animals. Looks signify so much to those base parts, as do smell, yes, but also voice. Many cues are subconscious and the sooner, in my opinion (not stating fact), the sooner humans accept the animals in us, the simpler and easier life could be. Beauty bias is biology. No need to be butthurt about biology.

  • I absolutely disagree with A LOT of what you said. Especially the fact that you stated that chemistry can grow, or that it's under someone's control. I'm 49 years old. And I've found that either you have chemistry, or you don't. For me, The very first kiss with someone is the telltale sign. Either it's there, or nowhere! After the first kiss, If I want to continue to kiss that person & I feel sensations run wild throughout my body & I get butturflys Or I feel NOTHING at all & I'm not going to take anything any further, because kissing them is like kissing my mom on the cheek! So if you're telling me I can make the chemistry grow.. I need detailed information from you on exactly how you are able to do that!?!?

    @ms.harleygamer7232@ms.harleygamer72322 жыл бұрын
    • Some studies show that kissing is as much,about smell as,taste. Smell in the animal kingdom is hugely important. In kate attractiinmitmis used to.determime genetic complememtsriness in potemtiañ mates ie you are seeking someone to mate eith with whom you do.NOT share alot.of.genetic abnomalities. Errors.in genes are very common because we have so many genes and it is believed we in part pick mates by smell.
