Too bad he lost his trainer, mentor, and ran into the wrong crowd in such a short time. He fought guys he had to yield 40 pounds to.

Mike gets so much credit for his power but in his prime it was his evasion and footwork combined with his punches being basically spring loaded cannonballs. Smaller and shorter than most opponents he had to be skilled to get into punching range. Once there he could stay there. He would dodge your punch set his feet (most of the time) hit you, before you have completed the motion of throwing your punch.
@brianm.595 Жыл бұрын
He's literally the greatest pound for pound boxer of all time, especially in his prime. I would put Mike's prime up against anyone else's prime in all of boxing history, and I'd put every penny I have on Mike.

The power, precision, aggression, and the desire to destroy his opponents. Will there ever be another Mike Tyson? Seems to be little or no aggression in modern matches. Sure, its called the sweet science, but when you come down to it,it is a fight. Modern heavy weights seem to try to just win by points. Tyson wanted to destroy his opponents from the first bell. We can only imagine how far he could've gone if he had kept his life on track.

around 72 or 73 , I met Ray Leonard at my dads boxing club in Washington, DC. He was the same age as me, 12 or 13 idk, but I remember , like it was yesterday, that that little skinny boy had hands like lightning, my dad told me then that that boy was bound to be a champ. That was Sugar Ray Leonard.

Even if you missed Tyson's punch, you'll get a pneumonia on his punch draft..
we used to say, back in the day, "Give him to Mikey, he Eats Everybody!"
Tyson is like a hell of artillery fire that doesn't stop
To me that is secretly amazing
At times it's wise to just give up, you could fight another day
Mike Tyson serving up lacerated spleens for appetizers and scrambled brain as main course😂
Iron Mike Tyson is the best boxer of all who has ever lived.Tell me,Who knocks out opponents such aggressively, speedily, powerfully and tactically? while he is shorter? THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!
Biggs talked too much sh!t and looked like a child thinking about the boogeyman under the bed afterwards!😂
Tyson's left hand made him millions of $$$.
Me too! Lol Can’t HELP it when I see them in the feed! 😂
Tyson got elbowed right there and still destroyed.
Donnie Long is back.🤣
The goat 🐐 🙌
Just Mikes Face alone can knock you out...
My dad told me about Joe Louis, how good he was, I watched videos of Marciano just destroying guys much bigger, I grew up with Ali, without a doubt the best finesse fighter of all time, but this guy was a destroyer. Too bad he lost his trainer, mentor, and ran into the wrong crowd in such a short time. He fought guys he had to yield 40 pounds to.
Bingo. He was shorter (5’9”), so he HAD to be more athletic and aggressive than the taller dudes.
Imagine if he had been a lot bigger. he would maybe have killed someone in the ring.
Yep that Don King ripped Mike off and he's still at it
Start
Rapidité et puissance au rendez vous.
Only Lord knows how much of a complete boxer Iron Mike could have been if he had the self awareness and the right people in his circle smh
The king of the ring

Sem dúvida se olve um mito no mundo do boks esse mito tem nome Maicon taison
Najjači borac u povijesti!
Only lightning can be compared with Tyson's fists
Mike gets so much credit for his power but in his prime it was his evasion and footwork combined with his punches being basically spring loaded cannonballs. Smaller and shorter than most opponents he had to be skilled to get into punching range. Once there he could stay there. He would dodge your punch set his feet (most of the time) hit you, before you have completed the motion of throwing your punch.
He's literally the greatest pound for pound boxer of all time, especially in his prime. I would put Mike's prime up against anyone else's prime in all of boxing history, and I'd put every penny I have on Mike.

THE BEST, KILLING MACHINE!!! RESPECT!!! MR TYSON!!!
Welldone SV.Videos ............ Chase !!!

El mejor peso pesado de principio a fin salia a aniquilar a sus oponentes.grande Mike!
Amazing speed Mike

The most powerful puncher ever
Lol, none can say that! George Foreman, ALI, Frazier, Jack Dempsey
👆 Tyson had the power of Foreman and the speed of Ali. Now Tyson vs. Dempsey would have been one hell of a fight.
@@pipeweldaNah mike Tyson is his prime knocked out the first 19 fighters he fought and knocked most of them in the first round plus everybody who went to his fight or even watched his fight on screen would say mike Tyson had some of the loudest punches ever to be heard and that they sound like a 12 gauge shotgun going off and you can just hear the power of the punches with your ears and that is unheard of before he came to the boxing scene
