Skip Bayless, Rachel Nichols and Keyshawn Johnson react to South Carolina finishing its revenge tour with an 87-75 win over Iowa in the National Championship. The Gamecocks outscored the Hawkeyes bench 37-0 and held Caitlin Clark to 5-for-20 shooting after her 18-point first quarter. Dawn Staley wins her third NCAA championship and joins UConn's Geno Auriemma (11), the late Pat Summitt of Tennessee (8) LSU's Kim Mulkey (4) and Stanford's Tara VanDerveer (3) as the only Division 1 women's basketball coaches with at least three titles.

Clark should be hailed as one of the Women's best, but Skip's expectations of Clark to do GOAT things when the title is on the line, is very fair. I believe too many persons are talking about Clark's performance, rather than the Gamecocks dominance.
Catlin Clark is awesome but the story line should be that defensive performance against her they smothered, and confused her had a hand in her face was sending the double had her turning the ball over hats off to Dawn Staley and her staff for a good game plan.

I appreciate Skip for keeping the standard across the board. All these other people are making excuses for Caitlin not being able to carry her team to a win. Look at the shots that she took and I will tell you they weren't smart shots. You don't just jack up 3's from the logo or 3 feet behind the 3 point line like your shots are automatic. Iowa had multiple second and thirds shot but missed. She could have penetrated the lane but she relies on shooting 3's and she's a defensive liability. She also turns the ball over a lot and those are recipes for a loss. UCONN play with way less players than Iowa with only 3 players on the bench, and their starters were getting slapped with fouls out the gate. Bluder beat herself vs SC this year. She exposed their lack of skills by telling Caitlin and the Hawkeyes to let them shoot 3s because they couldn't. Those girls took it on themselves to improve their shooting skills. Staley didn't have to do anything but keep them focused.

CC should have had some bench time. The other team mates should have been able to play. Rotation of the team. Their shooting was off. AND the winning Coach thanked GOD ! I am from IOWA and I was Blessed to hear this!
