- The mouse was originally named Bun but since the dog (formerly Bean) became so much more popular, the animator(s) switched their names. Now the dog is Bun, and the mouse is Bean.

Oh, I get the confusion now. I've seen comments on other videos saying the dog's name is Bean, not Bun. I think it's the lack of punctuation in the title. Even looking on the merch site, there was no mention of 'Bean.' But that's because Bean is the mouse. So really, the title should be more along the lines of "Bean, the dog is stuck!"

- So to clear things up we swapped the names, bean the dog is now bun the dog and the mouse is bean. The show got so popular and it’s mostly about the dog and cat and we didn’t want to change the show name 😺
