He would have to chase him, either way, so might as may make him go where he wants him to go. But also there was also a bit of wishing to make him feel fear and regret before he puts a hole on his head.

      @michaelmejia6946@michaelmejia69463 ай бұрын
    • @@michaelmejia6946 I mean realism in terms of making sure every enemy is dead instead of just assuming like in other movies. Of course the body count is hilariously impossible.

      @gametime2473@gametime24733 ай бұрын
    • @@gametime2473 Actually if you think about it this way, then it's not. If John is extremely skilled and the opponents are well, usually decently skilled, he can easily wipe the floor. Notice that a lot of his opponents are not that strong. Some stronger than others, and some really strong. But usually they are either not that strong or just strong. Only a few bad guys are really really skilled in this entire franchise. And if John is extremely skilled with guns, I can see how he wins. Also he does get hurt and also John takes a lot of beatings. He could have died so many times but by pure luck or help survives. So not that unrealistic in this sense. However what is unrealistic are some kills. I mean if you got a bullet in your stomach or abdomen, you would not be getting up from that. I mean you ain't having full energy. Thank god they did this well on John because some bad guys somehow have full energy with a bullet in their stomach. Of course they wouldn't die right away but you get the point. So actually this movie is rather realistic, atleast to me. Nvm. Forget what I said! I probably worded this really badly

  • I like the last fight a lot not only does it look very good but the mutual respect is great to see, they don't kill him when he's down and in return he spares them. I like how as they try to get back up in a last attempt to save themselves John says "be seeing you" (which is used a few times throughout the films by the winner or loser of a fight to signal it is over and as a show of respect since the victor acts almost like they haven't defeated the loser even if they are dying) and they submit and lay back down. It's also moments like these that remind you John is indeed the hero and not just another cold blooded killer.

  • I just noticed that, at 2:09, after Jimmy noticed the corpses in John’s front hall, he took his police cap off before asking “You working again?” Says to me that Jimmy knows exactly what John Wick is (makes sense, since they’re on a first-name basis), that he knows John is quite capable of killing him on the spot, and he’s therefore not a cop at that moment. Very wise of him, too.

He was at the time struggling to get paid for his scripts until Keanu's Talent agent began looking for an action script.| This was also Chad Stahelski and David Leitch's first directorial Gig. Both worked on stunts and befriended Keanu during the filming of the Matrix. Chad was Keanu's double. Keanu really did put a good word for the two so that they could direct.

  • I get that this is a world of assassins, and money will go a long way. But John Wick is legend! Even if I knew I was good, I would probably be like " Seven million?! Good lord that's a lot of money! Who's the target? John Wick...nah." And I think when Jimmy took his hat off he was telling John he wasn't a cop at that moment, he was either a friend or an informant for the High Table and that is why he asked if he was working again.

    @christopherjamesboudoir@christopherjamesboudoir Жыл бұрын
    • I like to think he was an informant. Considering that John was the only man aside from Cain to ever walk away from the criminal underworld and the hightable, someone that dangerous would need to have an eye kept on them. The only reason they didn't just pull him right back into the life he left is because even high table members have to honor markers, else they would have kept him in the criminal underworld. He was the most deadly and effecient assassin working under the high table, so they'd want to keep tabs on a man that lethal, even if he's retired.
