Nice job...thanks for the tutorial....gives me confidence to attempt this! Also...love your work surface!!
Thank you mine came with no instructions, was confused and wasted the first one, this video was a massive help xxx
How has it held up over time?
@@centenntrucker8496 is great. This is my go-to protector. I've had it on 2 of my phones for over a year with no issues.
Glad i watched this video before installing to my phone. Thank you :)
thanks for the help, good job
Just now installed mine thanks to this installation video. Love it.
Do you have to put al the three screens on the phone
@@sedalhallak8231 you apply one screen protector
thank you so much for this video it helps me a lot super. godbless.
Thank you for this video! It really helped me installing mine.
Thank you for your message, that's wonderful, :)
Great explanation. Thank you!
Thanks helped me a lot !
Thanks for the video brother.
Good thing I watched this video before I installed the hydrogel screen protector as it's really helpful. I was also able to identify which is which because I ordered 3 types of hydrogel with no English label and couldn't tell which is Matte, HD and Anti Blue Ray.
Wow. PRETTY lADY
Hydrogel seems to move overtime on its own. You will noticed that the position is not exactly the same from the time it was installed, specially on notch of the CAMERA.
nice tutorial,👍👍
Thank you! I was able to understand this video apart from many others and successfully applied the protector almost without troubles :)
I loved your work 👍
thank you
Thanks, great video!
I have edge screen can i ask how to make it stick
Thank you so much for this video. The instructions on the packaging of mine really sucked so I basically wasted the first one. With the second one I do still have some teeny tiny bubbles I couldn't get out but you can't see them when the screen is on and I doubt I could do a better job if I had a third one. So again: Thank you!
didn't we all ruin the first one. saved on packaging so much they couldn't just put the instructions in there
Bro, u put Hydrogel glass 3 in one mobile phone or 3 different mobile phone? I'm confused! 🤔
Excelent tutorial and excelent product. Hidrogel is specially good on phones (and watches) with curved beveled edges, there the tempered glass gives an ugly, razor-like feel. The only catch is, glass is more resistant to scratches than hidrogel. Anyway, you need to replace them from time to time (or, if you are fortunate, never)
If you don't have a squeegee tool, and would not like to purchase one, use a credit card and fold the microfiber cloth under it so you can use the soft end of the microfiber cloth to apply pressure.
thank you
Thanks for the advice @exodus58
Great job, thanks.
Cheers.I just purchased at 1/3 cost of tempered glass.Using because glass won't fit on note 20 ultra in the otterbox.
Tried this today, only issue was had to pull the white handle a bit or to tear it off, otherwise nothing stayed on the screen 😂 was proud of how well I did until I noticed
Thank you dear friend
thanks, got some shitty cheap screen protector off ebay with no instructions, worked great with this video. cheers :)
Man, I love you!
Seriously
Thank you so much
Thank you!
Thanks
Nice, thank you
Is this good for procreate?
Hello does hydrogel screen protector for iPhone X Case friendly? Thanks!
bought myself an honor 90 and these curved screen is giving me headaches , this is my second screen protector since the first was honor 90 pro thinking it was the problem , now i have a honor 90 tempered glass and boy it barely hangs on specially with the silicon phone case , the bottom part practically just hang near it instead of glued to it , thinking of buying a hydrogel film one thinking it might be better , i can still use this one but not sure how long it will last..
even with this video and guides, i firmly believe you need to purchase at least three. this is to gain experience even if you mess once or twice. if you're good, the spares will be ready for the next replacement time. experience and small luck is necessary for this task.
Anyone know how to remove? WITHOUT scratching screen? I want go with the matte hydrogel
Thank you...!
Hi! I just saw your vid. I'm worried about the gel covering the front camera. Does it affect the quality of pictures taken from the selfie cam?
Hi, absolutely not, it will have a special cut-out for the front camera, like the tempered glass, you can like as many selfies as you like :)
Thanks !
Is it soft on the hands
Does hydrogel back panel protector increase temperature
Just conduction
Can somebody tell me if I drop my phone on concrete or on the edge of something wooden, will my phone screen break with hydrogel protector?
I got mine installed just yesterday. When I tilt my phone, I can see rainbow hue ( not too obvious can only be seen when tilting the screen ) is it normal? I can only see it when the backgroun is light colored like white.
Same thing happened to me
You might got the UV or Bluelight filter ones.
Does the anti-blue light one worsen or better the display, do you think? And which one do you prefer, the regular or the anti-blue light?
Regular. The blue just looks blue, so bad.
you have blue light filter on every phone nowadays
i can usually get it on rite but no matter how hard i try i can never get my screen fully clear it always has a small hair or dust or smudge it never stays clean and pure
try doing it at your bathroom or any moist area free from dust :)
I successfully did a tempered glass replacement without dust
First, get a rag or duster and clean your workspace area very very good. Next, a lot of the dust is actually coming from your shirt, so you should either where a rubbery rain coat, bathing suit, or just take your shirt off if your a guy. I know it sounds silly, but just a small movement of your shirt can spew dust all over your screen. This is one of the most common problems. Once that is clean, You need to get a towels wet with very hot water and leave it out for a few on the desk before doing the installation. This will collect most of the dust in that area. Then you should be all set to get started. Wear a mask, Using a microfiber cloth, and a special thin sticker to pick up all debris that the cloth is leaving. With the correct sticker it shouldn’t leave any marks, dab, don’t swipe or rub with the sticker. Put your phone in Horizontal to install from side to side rather than top to bottom. Try to do it in one quick motion, from the side facing up to the side facing down. I know it sounds crazy but I used to struggle with this problem very bad as my office is dusty as heck, and I have so many devices, so now they all have a perfect screen protector without a single drop of dust or particle in any of them.
Question, is this better than a tempered glass protector? Asking because i have a mi 11 ultra that is in need of a new protector
I do mine in the bathroom AFTER a hot shower. The steam settles the dust to the floor. I use the si 👍lk cloths provided and wipe it clean with alcohol. Then another run with the cloth. I align the protector up with the proper alignment, then use scotch tape on the left side. Lift off the protective layer, give a sharp blow to the screen to remove any stray dust particles. Close the protector like a book and it's already aligned.
Wow it is very interesting
Thank you for your comment
What about curved screens? Will they peel off from the edges because i used tempered glasses and they all peel of from the edges.
no....I have one on my One Plus on the back. It's better than the tempered glass because it adheres better and looks amazing...you lose no beauty of the device when you use these.
It will fit perfectly depend on how your apply it
Tempered glass ones are a nightmare on curved displays, my brother has a mi 10 pro and the screen protector would just not stick to the curves. He now ordered a hydrogel one, I hope that works
@@sander5778 does it works?
@@anuargamez3708 I can sorta confirm. I have an lg wing, it was insanely difficult to get a glass screen protector for it (at least in my country - Amazon had a few but the shipping cost more than the product :/ ). But this really did work, just make sure to not let the edges rub against anything (so don't put it in a fabric like pocket or anything that will rub closely to it). Other than that it works perfectly ')
Is hydrogel matte?
does anti sweat protectors exist ?
Just got one
I wiped my phone so clean but as soon as less than a second after, a piece of dust or linen falls on the screen again Any advice as I am doing this at home and there is no professional vaccum
How to take back the screen protector
Non capisco: posso usare più di un hydrogel contemporaneamente?
i had to put on a second one because my 21 ultra has curved screen and on the curses it came off and got complete ruined so im gonna have to sop using these kinda after the next one they just aren't worth it for this phone
thanks 👌
these hydrogen or silicone screen protectors work the same if you have a cover, ? or if I put my cover on they peel off?
They're case friendly
@Dan Don No they don't but they actually look better than tempered glass.....its hard to get tempered glass for curved sided phones that actually fits properly
Can you also use tempered glass and hydrogel together?
We don't suggest that, :) but I guess you can always give it a try :)
But Why though
@@sanjayce4843 because he can 😂
Does it protect the phone for scratches or drop cuz idk which one i should buy
It's elastic, so it protects against common scratches, for dropping, it protects from light dropping
@@HcqsUs ok thank u
I know they don't offer the protections as glass,But i put one on my galaxy a52 ,And dam no more prints(WELL) a few but 100% better than glass.... looks just like the phone screen,But hope I'm not buying a New Phone from EBAY from a cracked screen🤣 But I'll never go back to anything else...Ebay I got 3 screen protectors for 7 0r 8 bucks,And was really easy to put on ....Just go slow,And line the thing up correctly
Is it really that that thin? I installed one myself and if feels like that its there but looks nothing? Haha. It is soo very thinnnn
Is it better to paste the second layer of hidrogel protection after 24 hours from first layer pasted? Please put an answer.
No why'd you do that?
does this give drop protection or just protects scratches ??
Just scratches.
dude how would a less than 1mm piece of film give drop protection? common sense man.
@@pvtsnoballz It’s not common sense lol. Search out videos of hydrogel test. It does give protection against drops.
@@x0vg5hs1 sure
@@Diego-lt6cw if it's not common sense then why do you belive it? Lol logic. Probably you belive humans can fly or something
how to remove it ??
It looks overall fine, but there's a little crease forming at lower 2/3 of the screen :(
Yes, as he said, it disappears automatically after 24 hours with the screens heat.
@@Diego-lt6cw ah yes I noticed that now. I think my phone has similar kind of protector preapplied from the factory, where scratches disappear within 2-3 days as well, even serious ones. When it comes to replace it, I now know what I want to replace it with, it will also be this type. I think i may be satisfied.
Pwede po ba maglagay ng hydrogel kahit may tempered glass yung cp?
What's the difference between mate and HD?
Matte is like so smooth to the touch but it makes your phone look foggy a bit
gracias
At the beginning of the video (0:12) the text says "Matte soft hydrogel...", but once it is installed, it's pretty clear that this is NOT a matte protector, it's as reflective as a mirror.
And I thought I was the only one seeing it. I mean I've applied over hundreds of screen protector (during my tenure in apple store) and I've never seen a reflective matte screen protector ever 😂 it got me so confused

Hydrogel is a fancy name for plastic screen potectors. Same product or even worse but you pay way more for plastic "screen" over the top of your phone. 1) its single use. 2) over time it accumulates dust beneath the peeling plastic and eventually peels itself off. LOL 3) it does NOT protect your screen from cracks 4) it MAY protect your screen from scratches 5) its more expensive than glass screen protectors 6) its harder to install than glass screen protectors 7) buy an actual screen protector (not hydrogel) 8) it dulls the screen you're looking at 9) it smudges easily 10) its a finger print magnet 11) it doesnt work well in direct sunlight compared to glass
Thank you for stopping me
this is not true hydrogel screen are soft and smooth, they do protect your screen very well and I prefer it to hardened glass It works very well against scratches and fall but keep in mind that the case is a better protector for the phone and its screen from fall. I trried both and I know always use hydrogel films and they are not only plastic film
