There an easter egg in that all throughout the prehistoric level there is carvings of the elemental mask from the original crash 4 wrath of cortex. The most obvious one can be seen in one of the bonus stages

There's also a Flashback level called Bandicoot vs Wombat, which I believe is a reference to Naughty Dog's first mockup design for Crash, which was called Willy the Wombat.
in a later level cortex says something about how he should have used a wombat instead of a bandicoot. so double willy the wombat references
2 months late but here is the third reference there is a Willy the Wombat skin.

More references: 1:52 This is the temple from Crash Warped in which Uka Uka was held captive before being released by cortex (this is in the background) 4:47 A reference to one of the jetboard levels in Crash 2 (N.sane remake) as fake crash is dancing on a platform out of reach in the blue gem path once you have gotten 100% (Fake Crash did the same dance in N.Sane)

Easter Egg:At the beginning of the game(the beach)you see a purple surf board with a strange mark on it,it to me looks identical to the mark from Crash of the Titans.(For those who don't know he got changed and looked a lot different,compare the simbol to the one found on his arm.)
The Wrath of Cortex masks, the Elementals can be seen carved throughout the Blast to the Past level. The small radio in N. Sanity Peak at the beach plays the original Crash Bandicoot theme. The flashback tapes use music from the original trilogy. In Crash Landed, the first set of boxes are arranged in the same pattern as the crates in Snow Go from Crash 2. The level's name is its self a reference to the canceled Crash Bandicoot game of the same name. In Cortex Castle there are portraits on the walls. On a couple of these portraits, Tiny Tiger can be found. The planet Bermugula was first mentioned by Nitros Oxide in CTR and is now a playable environment. Nitros Oxide also has a wife. The minecarts in Toxic Tunnels have Koala Kong's head on them. Willie the Wombat, the original Crash design is an unlockable skin for Crash, with Wanda the Wombat as an alternate skin for Coco. The stones in the water are the original rolling stones used in Crash 1. There is a poster of Megamix in one of the junkyard levels. Just thought I'd point out the ones you missed.
I like how you pointed out the Crash Landed one. Snow Go also came to my mind when I saw how the boxes were placed.
The radio on N Sanity Beach actually alternates between 2 tracks, the Crash 1 theme and Cortex's theme, each time its spun.

I might be looking to deep into this, but one of the boards with the spiked swirl design reminds me of the markings crash had on his hands in Crash of the titans/Mind over Mutant.
In the snow level, when you enter the cave, if you listen closely, you hear a nod to crash 2 snow go ost. It skipped my mind until the last measure played and I pressed the capture button on the switch to get the past 30 sec. Of gameplay. And luckily enough, that was enough time to get the entire theme. It's pretty cool! No pun intended. I'm glad they threw that in there as a reference ^^

I really like how cortex references both crash 4 titles during the cutscene of his boss battle and near the end of the same fight.
You missed a few Easter eggs. In the Arctic levels you can see Penta Penguin frozen in a block of ice. And in the prehistoric levels you can see carvings of the Elemental Masks from Wrath of Cortex.
Almost no one saw these! Love this Easter egg. And sad there is no crunch.
@@LightBen He actually has a cameo appearance in one of the Flashback Tape levels. You can see him on one of the screens, indicating that Cortex had been planning to create him as far back as the first game.

I thought the more obvious reference during the first level bonus is that in the background is the cave where Uka Uka was released from in Crash 3 Warped

I guess this is a reference to their own game but in the level "crash landed” the boxes at the start of the level have the same layout as the boxes in the level "Snow go” from crash bandicoot 2
you missed the skeleton from medievil in the final mission before the final fight with cortex
I like that the Guitar Hero clip was playing Sweet Home Alabama but it was totally a missed oppurtuninity to play a Van Halen song. RIP Eddie

You didn’t talk about the Elemental masks from Wrath of Cortex on the Blast to the past level. The fire, wind, and water elementals are pretty easy cause they are in the same area but I haven’t seen the earth elemental

Crash was a playable character in skylanders: imaginnators alongside erupt or and Spyro
skylanders is also a game made by toys for bob so that's most likely why they put it in there

In the first level when changing the channels on the tv, spinning the radio nearby will actually change the music to the theme of the game displayed on the tv.

The TV ad for Dingo's Diner mentions "Wumpa Cheeks". This is a reference to Willie Wumpa Cheeks from CTTR. Baby Dinos can be seen in the bonus stage for Dino Dash, I believe they are a reference to Baby T. The mine carts in Toxic Tunnels have pictures of Koala Kong on them. Megamix can be seen on a poster in Crash Compactor. Nina Cortex, Zem, N. Trance, Chick & Stew can all be seen in the game's 100% slideshow.

There 2 more I found one in the first level of the dino dimension you can find 2 mask from wrath of cortex it the fire one which is on a rock and the air one in the bonus round on the tree and on potion commotion in the crash bit on top of one of the walls while jumping of lily pad there's a mask spitting out fire and yup it's from wrath of cortex

Crunch Bandicoot has a cameo on the tv monitor in one of the flashback tapes. Also The Elementals Easter eggs can be seen carved in a tree, rock, cave, etc when playing the dinosaur level. This is an Wrath of Cortex Easter egg which I think believe is hinting that Crunch & The Elementals are coming to the new 5th installment

I got a crash bandicoot ad through the middle of this video and it is full of puns
The surfboard on the beach has crashs tattoo pattern from crash of the titans/MoM. Also in the one dinosaur level you can find etchings of the masks from Wrath of Cortex. Also in one of the final levels Cortex says he wishes he used a wombat instead of a Bandicoot referencing Willy Wombat, you can even unlock Willy Wombat as a skin.

Two Easter eggs that you missed that I found which was a poster of megamix in one of the wasteland levels and in the first cortex boss fight he mentions the wrath of cortex which was a nice nod to Crash bandicoot 4 the wrath of cortex

I just found an easter egg: in Warframe Theres a mission where you control a robot named snake and if you die a character says the solid snake death quote thing
In the final flashback level Cortex references Sonic, Bubsy and Gex. He says he should try other animals, a hedgehog, a bobcat or a gecko 😉
I haven't played iat in a while, but while watching this, I saw a carved head that correct me if I'm wrong) is the head of Spyro's friend in the game Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure? At 1:56 in the background directly above the couch.

I found two easter eggs which are the elemental masks carvings in the dino levels one in cortex level at the begging and the other in the first dino level bonus area, but i didn't find the rest yet
The wind mask carving is in Blast to the past level in the bonus area you can see the mask carved on the tree right in front of you

actually the first easter egg mentioned is the title screen from the N.Sane Trilogy release. I just focuses on each of the titles individually. Still a cool little reference though.
You missed the carvings of two of the elemental masks from Wrath of Cortex. In the first prehistoric level you can see Py-Ro (by the lava section) and Lo-Lo (in the bonus on a tree).
Wa-Wa is also in that level on the right before the waterfall. I’m willing to bet Rok-ko is around somewhere given the other three are.
let me throw my hat in the ring. During one of the flashback levels, apparently cortex was experimenting with other animals as well. A Bobcat - Bubsy. And a Gecko - Gex.

If it hasn't been found there's a Jurassic Park reference in the division 2 in the foggy bottoms, namely the SHD tech cache next to Taxi Graveyard. It is an overturned car with a bloody hat and a stuffed snake, and the cardboard says "clever girl"

4:28 i believe it’s a reference to a classic Tom and Jerry episode; Rock ‘n’ Rodent. In it, jerry wakes up Tom by going to a club to play music with his jazz band at night, you can imagine that they would need mouse sized instruments hence banging on the can.
