Many people are saying that Crash, was just faking his muteness the whole time, but I like to believe that he just prefers being silent, over being talkative, but made an exception when he was narrating the story. He's more of a listener, and less of a talker
Yeah, he’s like Taz. If you’ve ever seen Tazmania he actually has a really nice voice but just prefers to talk in gibberish snarls.
Imagine if they decided to give Crash a voice like they did to Donkey Kong in the 90's.

It’s actually been theorized that he’s autistic and that he doesn’t speak much. And I kinda agree with that, gives him more character that way imo

The voice they used for that ending strangely works so well for Crash. Edit: I only said the voice works. If the developers know what's good for them the clip was just a joke and Crash will remain relatively mute like he always has.
No. Just no. I mean, sure it's a nice sounding voice, but that's why it doesn't work. That's like saying Sonic's voice would be good for Dingodial, or that Mario's voice would be good for Cortex.

Genuinely, I'm glad that Uka Uka is doing fine after draining all of his energy to summon a rift, but at the same time worried about how he laughs menacingly at the end, leading to a cliffhanger.
If you think about it...Uka Uka might have waited for lord knows how many billions of years at that ending.

Dingodile said "bastards" and "bollocks" during the game. The introduction of E+10 has definitely changed the world of videogames. Now that they know they'll never get an E+6 rating for their games, because of the invention of the E+10 rating, they've figured they might as well throw in some swear words. It had the opposite effect on the Ratchet and Clank series. Prior to the invention of E+10, the developers had resigned themselves to the fact they'd always be rated T, so Ratchet and Clank 3 & 4 were full of dirty jokes. But now they know they can downgrade from T to E10, they've really sanitized the games.

@Tyrant King 0 It's a lot more about story balancing when it comes to video games. They have to make it just right, so it can move the story the right direction. It may be hard, if no one pays attention to the big and small details of series games.

Game before twinsanity doesn't end like that. Cortex was frozen, because he got into the ice world at the end of Wrath of Cortex.

@@Twilightzero I actually thought about that sometime after my comment. They can just retcon and make some changes with WoC that ultimately doesn't change anything major and still introduce Crunch. N Tropy can be removed from the main story and maybe make him a secret boss for the extra post game stages after collecting all Crystals and Gems in the regular stages.

ok ok, let me see if i understand, the original ending, crash save the world once more, the present cortex retire to be the villian, everyone happy forever, then in the supposely true ending, the narrator speak about the fate of every beaten villians in the previous games of this saga, just to see crash can talk after all just fake his muteness, and then see the present cortex resting in the sahara,just to see the probably return of buka (correct me if i'm wrong) that means crash's adventure is not ended yet? buka is the authentic final boss?
The evil mask is named Uka Uka and Cortex is in the end of the universe, not the Sahara. You were close though.

I love the secret endings.... I always wondered what happened to villains when you beat em and leave from the level.
It was cool because they did that in the very first Crash and also in Crash Team Racing. In fact, the line "Evil scientists are harder to squash than cockroaches" is from Crash 1 all gems ending.

For anyone wondering about the difference in Crash's sound and such, this is actually the first time in 15 years that Jess Harnell hasn't voiced Crash. My guess is the Animaniacs revival created a scheduling conflict.
I can't believe crash would talk about tawnas relationship so easily in the narration like that since they were an item before, I thought they still were together. He did say he was a dweeb but still. I guess it doesn't matter since this was an alternate dimension tawna.

Okay but to be clear, there's nothing in or after the credits after 8:50, right? Because I was sitting through the rest of them just to be sure, but then my controller disconnected and when I turned it back on it automatically skipped the rest of them and froze after loading in the map. When I closed the game and went back in it just immediately went to 9:07. Replaying the credits from the title screen doesn't seem to have any extra content, not even the voice over, and the final cinematic that's in the extras menu of the specific game file only goes up to Aku Aku looking out to the sea. I didn't have 100%, so I know there's plenty I wouldn't have seen, but I wanted to make sure nothing else notable happened without playing through it again.
