Petroleum jelly or water based lube is the usual types of lube used by a tire fitter I know as some types of greese can affect different blends or tire rubber

The guys we use for tyre fitting/repairs use a grease like substance that’s got fibres in it on awkward tyres if they don’t seat after using a bead blaster! They say it’s quite expensive stuff and always scrap off the excess and put it back in the pot!😂😂
We will have to look into that! Jon put the fronts on this week and had to grease them to make them seal too!

Big Boots looking more presentable with its new tyres although she was not keen to have them. 👏. You got the eating the whole tube of Pringles wrong Josh, your supposed to leave about 3 in the bottom, and take them home to Abi and tell her you saved them for her. I can promise you will get a reaction! (Not necessarily the one you were expecting) 😂😂
She’s a trying mistress is big boots! Haha, she knows what to expect from me and a Pringle tube by now!
A ratchet strap and a ratchet around the tyre sometimes works and its alot cleaner than grease
We tried that a couple times, couldn’t get it tight enough!

If you get a length of airline enough to reach both inflation fittings get two clip on connections to fit tyre inflation fitting conect both at same time the air preasure will level up in both tyre preasures

Considering I spent just under £2000 for a set of tires for my car once when I was younger and a bit of a racer, 4.5k for 6 tractor tires that last a lot longer than car tires it's not too bad a price

One thing I haven’t noticed in the tire saga is the removal of the valve stem core. Do you take them out? That would be part of the seating problem.
Yep we took the valve out, still couldn’t get enough air in there to seal it up!
