    • I heard that sometimes the models even cannot get suited shoes to wear, so taking the shoes off on stage may also be a kind of protest in some situations.

    • stxrdusty during most fashion shows they only have a few different sizes spanning all the shoes needed for the models so they can end up with shoes a size or two too big or small. Usually they trip because they’re wearing shoes too big, it’s a fine detail that they can easily fix. They just haven’t 🤷🏻‍♀️

    • They didn’t “choose” to wear them. The designers pick and choose which model wears what. They were not “forced,” but it is their paying job so many felt obligated to.

  • Falling is a universal human thing but more so for models. Learning to walk the catwalk is important as is learning to fall...I think humour and clapping is always best reaction in the situation for anyone.
