Sasha's lie was fine. She only lied about being a runway model. Which is the entire point of the game... I mean it is something personal, but she can use her personal story or make one up. I think Tyler was just upset since she related to her story, since, again, it was a real one.

It’s not fair at all. This is literally a game of deception. The first tick of lying is to use as many real details as possible. She didn’t lie - she shared her experience, telling the truth making it believable. I can almost guarantee the only thing she was thinking about was “ok what motivates me?” If that’s truly what motivates her it was a clever answer. Only an emotionally immature person would get upset.

You don't have to apologize, Sasha. Your father is part if your story, and at your core as you said you do everything in his honor. I think it is more offensive to say you "stooped low" for even bringing up that part of your story. Her father being incarcerated is also a part of her story… that was so weird at the end to get all rude and bitter because you believed her story when 1.) it was almost true and 2.) the point of the game is to lie. Tyler literally ruined all the fun in Sasha winning.
According to Tyler, having an incarcerated loved one IS part of your story if you're a runway model, but ISN'T part of your story if you aren't one. Yeah, makes complete sense.

aissa is so beautiful, everything about her screams high fashion. im not trying to over exaggerate but her walk is better than some of the most famous models out there like kendall jenner and when you saw the other walks in this video they looked bored and honestly aissa has such nice features and a nice sense of fashion and everytime the screen was on the group my eyes were automatically drawn to her. shes got a presence and aura that lots of people dont have

I am pretty sure she felt a friendly connection with Sasha and it sort of invalidated her feelings. You can tell Tyler was a strong woman but she was laughing and talking alot with Sasha almost putting her guard down. I think she just got seriously offended because she was so blown away by her being the mole. Honestly Sasha was a bit sitff she didn't give model vibes but yeah i was still shocked.

I don’t understand Tyler’s point about how “it’s her father’s story, not hers”. Of course it’s her story as well - it clearly affects her and her everyday life, she was just describing how the relationship between her and her father works. It’s honestly ironic how Tyler seems to be trying to defend the dad when she’s basically a stranger to both of them.
Exactly. She is allowed to talk about her incarcerated loved one but as soon as Sasha does it’s “not her story” to share. That’s something Sasha goes through everyday and she has to live without being able to see her father and bring him to special occasions. It is absolutely Sasha’s story and Tyler shouldn’t be offended on behalf of a person she’s never met.

At the end of the day, however, she did let her own emotions get the best of her, not only expressing her viewpoint on Sasha's story, but also going so far as to invalidate it and insult her. Totally agree. It felt more like a justification to stay bitter after she made clear that she does have someone incarcerated. Tyler was fine with her saying her father story until she lost the game.
@Nonaya Bidness yes that's true, but Sasha apologized and said that her story was true. It's natural to use real life situations when you're put in the spot like that . Invalidating Sasha story kind of showed Tyler's a lack of empathy for someone who is going through something similar to her.

I think she was just more upset that she was the mole at the end. Since there was a sense of relatability. But regardless, Sasha played the game in telling small bits of lies. In the end they are all strangers and may never encounter each other again. So it was quite surprising to see Tyler get upset but I suppose that’s primarily because she trusted a stranger a bit too much.

I’ve been to a catwalk before for some international Asian designers. Since it’s not the super well known luxury brands they do accept people who are short. (Though they still tend to be skinny, and definitely have a nice walk) I watched from a balcony and they looked really tall, I was very surprised when I came done and found that some of these gorgeous models were even shorter than I was !(5’3) the heels may have helped, but short runway models exist!
The reason Tyler got so butt hurt is that she thought she found another black woman in the same position that she was in and started relating to her. It is not Sashas fault for the way Tyler began to build a made-up friendship in her head. Her father's story is her story, it has affected her every day. Tyler is very opinionated and there is nothing wrong with that. However, this is a game where you literally EXPECT people to be lying. Why sign up for this if you can't handle it. Sorry you got blinded by your own emotions/feelings towards a stranger, which ultimately lead to your loss in the game. Get over it.

Models have had two things in common 1) you have got to be skinny and 2) you have got to be tall just cause times are changing doesn't mean that the modeling world is completely changed. For the majority being tall and skinny is still the standard for most professional modeling agencies

We had casting last week for fashion week and my boss doesn't request people for casting under 5'10 but once casting begins, the walk is the most important factor. You can have the looks but if you can't walk and properly model the clothes, we don't option them so height is a factor but to do runway, the walk and attitude that is conveyed is the key factor at least for my boss. I was actually talking with him today and he said like years ago, you could be 5'7 and do runway. Idk what happened but sometime down the road (he has been doing couture for over 30 years) that standard changed exponentially.
