  • Oh, go! Girl, it's been awhile, you've lost your pretty smile, what happened? Was it something that they said that's playing with your head, what happened? When you're standing in the spotlight, woman, some people try an' take a shot Well it's only jealousy, only jealousy, oh they can't see our love But one thing you can be sure of You know that I'm a believer, in you an' me You know that I'm a believer, oh it's true And no matter what you do, girl, I believe in you I believe! Oh it's never what you hear, it's only what you feel that matters Left your brother stand alone, you kept climbing social ladders When it comes down to basics, and we're lookin' at it one on one It don't matter what they say, matter what they say About us now, ah, can't hurt us now But one thing you can be sure of You know that I'm a believer, in you, I believe You know that I'm a believer, oh it's true And no matter what you do, girl, I believe The only way to win child, is never play the game of love But I'll be there to catch you even if you should ever fall But one thing you can be sure of You know that I'm a believer, in you, in me You know that I'm a believer, girl it's true, and no matter what you do You know I'm a believer, in you, in love You know that I'm a believer, oh it's true And no matter what you do, girl, I believe in you, oh in me, oh in love You know that I'm a believer, oh it's true And no matter what you do, girl, I believe

    • The song is incredible but the video is pretty bad. I don’t know what the video director was trying to do here. No one wants to see red ants, and the Inglewood Oil Field scenery.

  • This song contains all of the ingredients that made rock music of the late 80's and early 90's so great. A rockin' groove, catchy hooks, big guitars, big drums and strong vocals with good lyrics. Loved it then and love it even more today. Thank you degutony and rock on!!!

    • Dave Holmes that's because Dan Huff is one of the greatest musicians on the planet and now he's also one of the greatest producers also, that absolutely loves every moment he get to jump into the studio with his guitar, he never was a fan of the stage, Giant was just a pet project that Dan had always wanted to do, but his heart belongs in the studio.

  • This band deserved so much more. What talent...What brilliant music...And Boy Dan has some guitar skills...i think Vito Bratta of White Lion and Dan Huff are probably two of the most underappreciated guitarists out there. Those two have guitar skills that is unworldly.

  • Pity grunge killed music like this, now i like many grunge bands, and was there at time and did find it exciting this new movement. But always loved huge melodic rock, and brought this album on import from shades up London. Was and is still a beast of an album. Wonder had it not been for grunge would they have gone on early 90s to been huge.

    @chrisM33@chrisM334 жыл бұрын
    • I have pretty much the same problem. I despised Grunge for many many years. Now I can't believe I just bought the remastered edition of "Nirvana - Nevermind". Now I'm like "Oh. It's not that bad". But still it does NOT beat Metal or Glam Metal.

    • At this point (late 1989) a lot of rock bands were doing little more than cranking out generic power ballads to hit the Top 40. It really seemed like the genre had run its course to me.

    • Giant, Slaughter, Firehouse and Steelheart should have been massive bands (although, to be fair, Slaughter and Firehouse did really, really well in Asia in the early to mid 90's) but Billboard decided to end Hair Metal once Nirvana's "Nevermind" (shit band, shit album, btw) came out.
