  • If PPA want to reach a wider audience, they need to upload better quality videos. This is horrible low bit rate, even the text is fuzzy. There is no other KZhead content with this poor quality. Either PPA are trying to save money (less storage space and faster upload) or the Video engineer does not know what they are doing, in which case fire them.

  • Wilson & David simply out hustled (and vivian shone with a mission focused attitude). As we know that individual talent wasn't the determining factor (they are all great players, and well... Ben johns is the GOAT), then you have to put it on WILL (which shouldnt be a factor at top level play), or Perhaps there was fatigue, (but they are frankly all great athletes,... so it may come down to as basic as 'partnership FIT' . How well does the partnership compliment each other. Perfect example. ALW... clearly a supreme player (personally I believe the best male OR female) ... but she knows exactly how to work (fit) with Ben as he dominates possession. She fills the gaps... despite being #1 in the world herself. So maybe its a simple as 'how you gel' .! This weekend at times looked like two individual player vs a partnership. ... and frankly i like (and have met both), but think Ben lost an opportunity to demonstrate support and leadership, choosing to sit stoic in the time outs, vs raising Annas spirits and confidence. . I also saw their post Semi interview and Anna said "Learning how to (quote) get out of his (bens) way. That to me sums it up.. She didnt see it (like ALW) as complimenting his style, but rather as as an internal fight having to accommodate to his style. Just not a good fit

    • Collin John's isn't wrong about what he said, he just should have had the tact not to say the other shit he said. Celebrating on an unforced error instead of on a point where you actually beat him is a piece of shit move no matter at what level

      @BlGSac@BlGSac25 күн бұрын
    • @@BlGSac I agree to some degree. I hate taunting and don’t find it classy either. It’s most egregious when directed in a hostile form toward the other player given this isn’t the MMA but I really wouldn’t classify what she did as a POS move. Anyway, I wish that he would apologize to her. Do you think that she was out of place given her reasoning that she gave to him?

      @mccgunter@mccgunter25 күн бұрын
    • @@mccgunter Her reasoning being that she's a fan of him and stuff? I don't think her reasoning justifies what she did. If I met my favorite pickleball player and started celebrating whenever he made a mistake, I would be ashamed with myself cause I'm being rude and a douche. If he was her pickleball idol, she should have had more respect and class for him. There's probably a reason, James Ignatowich hasn't said anything cause I think he probably agrees with his message, though the approach wasn't great with his hurtful comments.

      @BlGSac@BlGSac25 күн бұрын
    • @@BlGSacI think you’re being myopic. 1. Celebrating a point in general is not a douche move in it of itself. If she says something like “come on” or “yeah” or something of that nature, she’s excited that she won the point. It doesn’t matter if it’s unforced or not, it’s all counted the same as her point. Moreover, some people use that as fuel to try to hype themselves up and play better. She was not taunting Collin Johns, and that’s the point wheee she was saying he was her favorite player. She’s doing it for herself, not to get in his head. 2. Took it a step too far by making it personal and she was trying to apologize to him/come to an understanding. If she’s saying he’s his favorite player and she wasn’t trying to be mean, even if her actions represented so, any intelligent individual would understand that she was not being malicious with her actions and just let it go. Instead he chose to be petty, vindictive and insulted her. All in all, he was definitely the douche in this situation. Regardless of what she did, if she came to him trying to apologize, he should’ve just let it go like a mature person would. He’s what 30 or 31? He’s 10-11 years older than her, understand that she’s young, we all make mistakes and let it go.

    • @@adamheath4599 I don't think I'm being anything other than realistic. Chirp off an unforced error is an asshole maneuver, I try to be nice to everyone I meet and keep everything professional and fun at my level. You say that she is just chirping for herself, that doesn't mean that her actions don't affect other players and that her actions definitely came off as taunting. Action and intention are important, her intention wasn't malicious but when in the heated moment of a game you come off as an asshole. I will acknowledge his comments suck, they are mean and stuff and he went too far and stuff and I don't agree with saying someone will never beat you it comes off as arrogant and just straight bullyesque. But she isn't an innocent party this didn't happen for no reason and although I wouldn't have had the same reaction as CJ. I can't fault him when you're playing at a competitive professional level literally competing for your livelihood, things can get heated. If I'm playing against Roger Federer since he's my tennis icon and I start celebrating as a way to pump myself up when he double faults his serve. • Johns ignored his partner at the end. Very sad to see his poor support.

    • The whole match, why would he talk to her? Hey Anna, wrong speed up, nice dink into the net…

    • @@propertwb that is what he does, he doesn’t say much to anyone. Bright gets in her own head, she cant shake off mistakes. Ben Johns ALMOST always plays with ALW ( by the distance of the moon and back better than any other female) and his BROTHER. Etta Wright is a great partner for him, she always is boring and never shows any expression. So…thats who he is and what he does, she wants a shoulder rub from her partner then play with JAMES…

    • @@jimg6178 I understand who he usually plays with and that he doesn’t say a lot. Having playing with several partners over 11 years of tournaments, I do know how important communication and support are. Maybe once you get past 5.0 you don’t expect that.

    • I think that's just John's personality...he's always like that, even with his brother. They made us to championship Sunday...not bad.

  • The best mixed team and certainly the most likable. Anna Bright is overrated.

  • The other day at my job as a Financial Advisor told one of my clients that he lost a million dollars, he told me its ok buddy, Vivienne David has a great attitude so he wasnt pissed, failed big time at my job and I was at least happy that it wasn’t my money. I learned a valuable lesson about being a good sport!!
