I love the way you really "got" the story, some people watch it and just look confused at the end, It was very much a spoof on James Bond, Michael Jackson and Jacky Chan, I laughed the whole way through it. It's a thrill to see Dimash acting sexy, he had the most innocent, sweet face when he was 22. I think perhaps he was not quite as innocent as he appeared! He has a very complex personality. This is a fun and sexy video. Dimash doesn’t take it seriously and has fun with this. There are a bunch of people probably gasping and getting their knickers in a knot over this, but it’s a very uptempo and fun song that deserved a fun video. I’d love to visit the hotel where it was filmed though!
I believe Dimash has consistently been trying to erase the "boy next door" image that he received after his Singer show fame. A lot of the film footage was shot at the Royal Tulip Hotel, Almaty, Kazakhstan. Beautiful.

Another enjoyable reaction. Even though pop music is not one of my favorite genres there is no doubt that Dimash delivered another flawless performance. I actually enjoyed the song quite a bit. The choreography and video production were top-notch, as is the case for all of his music videos. This should catapult Dimash into the mainstream. This song will equally appeal to the younger generation as well as the generation that grew up with Michael Jackson in the 80s. Dimash is one of a kind. He raps in Kazakh (not Russian). Filmed in Kazakhstan near Almaty at the Royal Tulip hotel. Dimash studied Tae Kwon Do when he was young (red belt) but had to give it up to commit to music. He is also a friend and fan of Jackie Chan and sang the theme song for Jackie's movie Vanguard (on Dimash's Spotify....he has 2 channels). Part 2 is rumored to be in a mountain ski resort where he was recently seen.

Loly, in case you didn't already know it Dimash has a Black Belt in Taekwondo. So the fight sequence was no problem for him.

@@Watchamacallit000 The red belt is still above intermediate level. Just a few more years and he would have earned his black belt. Still rank isn't always everything. It did give him enough background and experience to do a well choreographed fight. A real fight would be a different story though. Those tend to be less graceful and predictable.

Most people who sing in the style/genera of this new song could NEVER sing the demanding vocal pop ballads that Dimash is famous for, And most people who are really excellent at pop ballads and who have a true "singing" voice can NOT do a Michael Jackson/Iglesias type song. If you feel his image was “innocent” until this mv, then that means you definitely didn’t watch his dance performance of Give Me Your Love at his concert in NYC in 2019, lol. He had far more risqué and more sexual moments during that dance than anything in this mv. He even simulated doing it doggie style with dancer Karina, lol. It was very hot! And at one point he grabbed her by the neck and pressed her against him. Too commercial. Sex and violence. Could have watched any pop or rap video for this crap. Fast losing respect for Dimash. This is what I was afraid of, Dimash selling his integrity for fame. He has said in interviews that he wants a clean and pure woman to marry and supposedly has strict Muslim beliefs against this kind of stuff yet here he is, just like any other cheap pop star selling us the same old same old. And before anyone wants to say I'm a prude and not up with the times or lack artistic understanding, I'm an old school rock and roll dude who grew up on sex drugs and rock n' roll and can appreciate some of the pop stuff. The thing is that when I found Dimash I felt like he was a refreshing change from all that and that he was bringing back some old fashioned beauty in music again. It looks like he's going down the same road as the rest into corruption and degradation. Very disappointed but not surprised. He wants to enter the Western market and this may be the price he has to pay. We may pay the price as well because it's possible that we may never see the old dignified Dimash singing beautiful songs anymore.
