  • Running after 6 hours sleep, I could not do that. Actually once I did, but had a ton of caffeine and sugar beforehand. Give me 8 hours and a small amount of high energy food like dark chocolate and I'm off like a rocket for 90 minutes. Working on my gait the last few months, think I've finally got it down where I don't get muscle soreness the next day. Taking magnesium and protein shake after running seems to help with that. Stretching before and after as well, especially the plantar fascia and calves. Gotta have good running shoes too.
