incredible, easy to follow tutorial. never used the screw tool before - blew my mind when my little line or verts turned into a cup with one click. i'd love to see some more of your timelapses as tutorials.
Wow! Love it :) I created my first ever mug yesterday starting with a cylinder (because I didn't know about the Screw Modifier) - I'm going to have a great play with the Screw modifier today, thank you so much!
The most usefull and practice tutorial I have seen in KZhead. Thanks and regards from Costa Rica.
This is the first tutorial to finish when am still happy. ThNks let us wait for coloring and next parts
I am not gonna lie, but i absolutely love you hear saying "Press G and X and Y and E and M and R and T and K and XYZ..." in lightspeed, so i have to rewing it a hundred times to understand it or switch to 0.25 playback speed. This is bonkers how good you are in the program and how you remind all these shortscuts. 😂👍🏼
More of this please!
Thanks for the greate tutorials. New method learned: 1. Single vertex to create (half) profile, 2. Screw Modifier (like the Spin Tool) to create objects based on the profile, 3. Solidify + SubD to give final shape. The handle created with SubD is also cool. I've been having a really tough time with SubD because of all the unexpected distortions.
You make it look so easy. Thanks for the tutorial.Keep up the great work..
Thanks, will do!
Hello! Thank you so much for this! I recently got into using blender when making my capstone and came back to it to expand my skill set more. I’m a senior graphic designer just getting into the industry so learning new skills with these tutorials means more than you know. I was wondering in the future if you could make a tutorial focused on how you plan lighting for scenes and how you execute it in blender with what tools? and the different ways to go about lighting a scene. I find that I struggle with getting the ambiance and mood lightning that you get with your finished work :) thanks so much! ❤
Thank you for a great tutorial!
Your content is so special. Please keep it up :)
Thank you so much!
@@polygonrunway please make series of video for low poly game environment
This is really good practice to start modeling small objects
By far the best tutorial I've watched, this allows me to understand how to edit and model so much better with this technique which I never knew. Thnx dude
Great to hear!
Than you for such a great tutotial!!!
You made it so easy, Thank you
Inspiring. Really nice, was looking for exactly this, since I only wanted to make small simple objects in a fast way for FDM furniture detail printing. Helped me a lot thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
You totally made my day, Roman ! 🔥 Thank you soooo much ! 🙏

I love good work keep going
Wow thanks dear more plz.
I've stumbled back to this video and let me say, thank you for getting me back into Blender. Making this simple thing gave me the motivation to continue for half a year till I've finally made my own realistic room render.
That's really great to hear! Keep up the work :)
You are the best man!
Excellent , some great tips here!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for sharing. I learn alot from you.
I'm so glad!
Thanks a lot!
easy to follow tutorial nice very nice thnks
today i learnt something new. appreciated....
Going from CAD software to blender, I was a bit annoyed I couldn't find an equivalent to the Revolve Extrusion tool. Had no idea the Screw modifier can work as that substitute, thank you so much
fantastic approach for generating a product family! maybe a second part with the render scene? thanks!
Holy diver, what a good tutorial!!
still very good bro ty :D
good work
Thank you
Still, I would like to thank you very much and tell you that you are the most inspirational to me in this work

Wow you are so amazing.
Thank you! 😊
thank you
Хорошее видео, я всё понял. Спасибо за гайд!
That's handy when you want to fill a space with some handmade models. I now want to make a kitchen to put these in. 😊
Cool 👍
great Tutorial! learned a lot from it. My Problem is just that my render has a lot of Artifacts. Any Tips?
Nice!
Thanks!
perfect
Good Tutorial
Glad you like it!
Wow!
Thanks. Second part adding materials and shadding?
Hello, i made the first vertices and the plain but when i applied modifiers to the vertices, it also got applied to the plain? How can i remove them from the plane
🔥🔥
A good vidéo 👍🏻
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the tutorial! One question, what else do I have to do to make it ready for 3d print?
Just make sure the geometry is close and you should be able to export STL no problem
@@polygonrunway thanks!

Hello, Do you have a video with rendering parameters? I'm in my last year of video game creation studies and I would like to create a scene to render my props for my portfolio. But I don't know what engine use in blender and what parameters to use. Thanks for your feelback.
Hey, check out my other tutorials, there are rendering settings as well
loveyouguy very thanks
does someone know why when i change the thickness in the solidify modifier it looks very thin?
it would be awesome if you had also shared your final render settings. Maybe next time? :)
Will do!
I am your big fan sir ji (I learn batter
i saw you the first time. i have imagen you to have long hairs and beard ... but totally opposite... but i like you voice so soothing and great teaching skillls...
Can you create a glyph?
Just incase your mug handle is deforming/squishing, just make sure you apply scale after scaling the plane. Probably a beginner mistake.
👍
have you manual about your startup logo? :)

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but after I add a single vert, it won't extrude...?
Got it...
How to solve
@@ryzeximpxct make sure you're in Vertex select mode.
You might be on select faces or edges you have to be on verts or press 1 for vert select, 2 for edge select, or 3 for face select
When I go to follow this tutorial and as soon as I press E to extrude, mine doesn't do it the exact same way as it's done in this video, why the hell is Blender so difficult to use? So then I went on ahead and made the line that you made and when I angled the camera to the same position as yours even by counting out the squares in the video. I just want to do something simple first, but no matter what tutorial I go to follow I can't do it the way it's being done in the video, what the hell am I doing wrong?
Are you from Slovakia? I think I notice some familiar accent :DD.
Yep :D
Hello I got lost as soon as 1:22 when you said right click to extrude.
Oh okay so if anyone else was wondering, you have to tap right click. I couldnt follow because I thought I had to hold drag right click.
course in is Hindi subtitle add
Yes, my courses on polygonrunway.com now have Hindi subtitles too :)
100th comment :)
sir please enlarge the icons little more
I really sad blinder is hard for me😢😢😢
This is some awesome tutorial to learn basic modelling i think. But its so pretty fast, that beginners of blender cant follow. Do you have something more in depth for the basic shortcuts and how to combine them? i mean, i can follow, but i have to stop nearly every second and that makes it so hard to remember what you've done and what you learned. Please try to see it with the eyes of a beginner, because otherwise this is more a pro tutorial for users comfortable already with blender
very nice tutorial, you somehow have Arnold Schwarzeneggers voice
I don't even know how to tab out....
you press tab again on your keyboard that will make you get out... "tab out"
Too fast, not explaining properly, not beginner friendly
