Morissette Amon is a vocal BEAST and not only that, she is superb songstress and technical singing master. FTR, I am a retired, professional music critic, with 45+ years of experience. I saw many of the great female Pop singers, like Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Regine Vazquez etc, live, at their Apex singing peaks. Morissette is a match for any of them. She is (my opinion) one of the top 5 to 8 Pop singers of all time.

Watching Mori sing requires some strength, endurance and restraint as her renditions always carry a lot of emotion in them. That’s why she makes a connection that bares down such an impact of emotions on the listener. And not a lot of singers are able to create that within just a few lines into the song, or much less even have that gift at all. I sometimes pity people who get to watch her sing because of the burden of emotions that come with it.

Its about someone who is at the top of their game and wants it to last forever, and she recognizes that her lover was the one who lit the fuse that ignited her success. She is getting all the glory but wants her lover to "take her hand" and come along for the ride because all the accolades and praise will "Never be Enough" if her lover is not there to enjoy them with her. The singer should be thinking she's Celine Dion singing this to Rene as she was trying to "will him" back to health. The fame would mean absolutely nothing to her without him at her side.

the best rendition of this song I could find (and I've listened to over two dozens). Magnificent, absolutely incredible, hard to believe a human being can actually do that with their voice. I love Morisette but I love Kelly Clarkson's version more. Saw Kelly on concert and she sang this song live and it was beyond phenomenal. Something about how Morisette pronounces certain words that's affecting how I'm liking her version. She is an amazing singer and it's a really good rendition. I just don't think it's the best out there.
