Thank you for watching the video. please support me. Thanks you very much. love everyone.
Watching the process of repairing this demolished Kenwood sound system was an incredibly relaxing experience for me. It's fascinating how with skills and patience, one can bring equipment back to life and enjoy its superb sound once again. Kudos for the excellent work and thank you for sharing this process!
It's very gratifying to see you giving new life to practically destroyed equipment. Congratulations on your videos!

Yeah and so many great electronics were thrown out over the years bc it was cheaper to buy a new one. Also back then they kept coming out with a new technology and audio companies made you get the newest models and made you feel you had something obsolete. So making you feel you needed to get the latest version and get rid of your old unit that you only had for a few years and still working. And fixing them were not cheap. Glad there’s a rise in vintage audio equipment now.
I love it.Old retro red is a great feeling.
I had this exact same KENWOOD sound system for 20 years from 1998 to 2018 and it never ever let me down. the build quality was really good. Mine was 5.1 surround sound and had a turntable too. It also came with an optional SW-05 super sub-woofer that was shaped like a crazy futuristic cannon. I can remember being able to mix from Vinyl to CD whilst recording the whole thing on tape. It was totally awesome for it's time and sounded amazing too. Regrettably, I had to sell it to raise cash for a new car. Somebody actually paid me £300.oo That's almost "HALF" the price that I paid for it originally "NEW" £700.oo in the January sales £900.oo rrp. I wish I still had it. I wonder if it is still working now. I wouldn't be surprised if it is...!!!
Que clase de modelo es?
Just a pleasure watching a man who knows what he is doing! 🎉❤
the look maybe he had restored 50% of it, but the glory of its performance, he actually was not able to give justice to-it still was an epic fail so to speak.
aawww, that is so cute🤭🤭🤭
i just love the sound of those older decks, kenwood, panasonic, aiwa, pioneer, marantz...etc. for me has better sound quality and depth than today's compressed mp3's.
The speakers were definitely my favourite bit of this video. Amazing stuff throughout. Well done!
What an expertise in giving a new life to the discarded equipment! Really amazing..
I have never seen anyone who works as beautifully as you .. perfect 😍😍
beautiful. you are very talented in bringing old system back to life. thanks for keeping this legendary systems alive.
Honor and praise to you, great master of restoration of vintage equipment! If only you could help restore my sharpie, which is now with me in Lviv.😢
Still have and use my Kenwood home stereo from 1994. Original tower speakers still shake the house after 30 years of abuse somehow. An affordable upper mid-level brand that should have never stopped making home audio.
That brings back good memories of my own repairs on those Mini-HiFi's. Back then it was mostly burned transistors and old belts. You have done an amazing job of the restoration. Thank you for sharing.
Wow, your effort to revive this old Kenwood is brilliant
Nice rescue and top restoration. Do not throw away gear, restore it and use it.
I remember that models from mid 1980s, they were the ducks guts back then, Japanese assembled and great sounds and reliability, nice rescue.
Mr.Electricity
I like the way you keep showing us the screws as you take them out... Yep, those are screws. 😂
Excelente trabalho.
All my respect! Great to love this audio as it loves to please us too
I bought one exactly the same wow wow.cost me £790 back in 1997 did everything you wanted it to. Could mix from vinyl to cd while recording it on tape. fantastic bit of kit back in the day👍
Was just thinking , bet that sounded sweet in it's day. I'm a 70's child , soni grew up with these proper stereo systems
ME GUSTO MUCHO LA RESTAURACION MULTI FUNCION
Still have a very similiar vintage system in my bedroom in perfect condition - married to an ancient pair of Audiosphere Research speakers.
My childhood memories just came back. 😂 👏
Amazing to put that work into that unit. Jeesh, we throw those things away, I never have restored one (although I have a nice sony mini-system that might get opened up some day). Well done.
*This stuff amazes me*
mantap👍
Excelente trabalho 🇧🇷🇧🇷
our pride and joy back then these hifi systems the more buttons the better;)))
SENSACIONAL. PARABÉNS GUERREIO.
Great work ! I'm in awe this skill!
Wow, that was an awsome, thank you for sharing
One of the entainment appliances system that is worth saving is Kenwood, specially the sound system. ❤
I do sometimes think it's suprising how much tech goes into these radios and sound systems and for a person who doesn't see the insides of a radio to often it almost looks like looking into a computer but different
Great job, bravo from Greece.
I had one !!! The sound was AWESOME !!!
Well done, thank you!
that was fantastic job its a lovely stereo , you do exellent work i was glued to my computer , very enjoyable to watch , see you in the next video thanks for sharing
Would be neat to see a showroom with all the items restored over the lifetime to the channel. Lot of items…
Great Job Well Done
I hope you can start online classes, We need more teachers like you.
question: If the system could handle 240v like the backpanel shows @2:36, why did you bring out the step-down power adapter?
Es genial que lo hayas revivido
Nice, aux and cassette B work
Sir, what an excellent video with so much of hardwork and dedication that too for an old piece of gem. What an era that was when these items were a must thing in life and were really entertaining with so much of functionalities. Thank you for setting this up. Hope the views will contribute towards your expense you bear in order to restore old guy. Good Job. Keep it up.!
perfect work
Good, it's not one of those videos where he randomly finds it in the mud.
While I am a fan of Kenwood, I prefer their components from the 70's and 80's. To me this generation of kit was somewhat subpar when new. I know many stereos from this generation ended up on the curb.
Awesome work :) I was most surprised by the restoration of the destroyed speakers.
Making new speaker cabinets was the most obvious choice. And multiplex plywood is far more sturdy and durable than the woodchip board in the originals.
The speaker cabinets are the least of the problems. It's more fascinating how you replaced the cone diaphragms and everything else in the speaker itself.@@MrLBPug
Aiwa still the best sound since 1993 till now Dec 2023,peachout malaysia out yo....
I watch just to find out whether they actually wired up coils and put proper passive crossover circuits for those three-ways. Maybe it’s four-ways since that sub had four leads going to it? So the subs were probably two transducers stacked like the old pioneer 6 by 9s? DAMN, NICE SOLDERING IRON!! You inject your creative forces and get your hands into the very cores of each and every component, literally. It’s as though it were you who made the things from scratch to begin with!! I really wish for you to be given as long a life as you want, so that you’ll know it’s value to others and sense it’s great accomplishments!!
Great job, buddy 👏🏼😃
My uncles and most if not all of my cousins had this exact setup!
AWESOMEEEE. we used to own one like this.. bring back all memories.. Good job
You do fantastic work & videos. 👍💽💿📀
i want that sound system to played. my collection
Excellent Job.🧑🏫
Rio de Janeiro- Brasil. Parabéns, ficou perfeito
Replacing the resistor was the most hilarious part of the video. How did you manage to get the replacement part so fast? Even without figuring out it's nominal? Nor I've seen you looking at schematic
There are either color codes, or like some international rectifiers, have values written.B B R O Y G B V G W....
@@davidhamm5626 No way. I remember each stripe
@@dkoxperiakoziukov3808 I wore out 2 or 3 of the radio shack calculators, and then they went to the new color scheme. I still have set of arko mills, that has a lot of old school parts. I dump the new stuff in the right places, most of the time....
Mantap Kenwood okey.
Excellent work, you can immediately see that in electronics the person graduated from an engineering and electronics specialty, he is poking just perfectly in unclear places 😅👍 and the acoustics need to be improved according to the internal filling
Fantastic
Great job, very perfect and neat. I have an Aiwa NSX-WKT10 5700W Hi Fi set which is still good but the VCD player does not work and has been idle for the past 6 years. Would like to bring it to you to be functional again like new 🥰
How I wish my pioneer component be restored and filmed
amazing.
Oh my god, when the one, who has thrown away that stuff, is detecting this video, he will cry a river. 😂
Wow bro great Job 😊
Bom trabalho ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉nota 1000❤❤
Sistema de som multifuncional kenwood 📻😉
all the wonder of my childhood passing before my eyes! '*-*
This is something I will never understand with these restorations from SE Asia - you did this amazing work to restore this old school sound system, including REBUILDING THE MEMBRANE OF THE SPEAKERS - something I’ve only seen with really high end stuff. But then you couldn’t be bothered to sand and chamfer the boxes or stuff a few handful of cotton fluff into them. I mean, you can’t make that much money for a system that doesn’t run on your country’s native voltage so I assume it’s a project of personal interest (plus the views and KZhead $$). So where does this combination of next-level effort and half-assery come from?
good job
Everything is proven people keep there mode switch clean out in there VCR player like they should people will never have playing problem's at all people like are cleaning out mode switches in VCR players God bless you God loves big thing is this do you love him
Top parabéns
Excellent work!
He broke him self 😂
"We can rebuild you...better than before!"
Back in the 90s if you have something like this in Asia it means you made it lol
