EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu says the party will get more votes in the May 29 elections. Shivambu says the party has seen phenomenal growth in all regions across South Africa. He says the party will get more votes than the DA.

We go through different stages and we fight different battles. Bo Mandela have done their part. we need to celebrate what they have done in terms of giving us freedom. they did well on that and we must celebrate that without being clouded. in the process, we need to realise it is completely impossible to win against all the challenges. He is a brilliant thinker and practitioner of his craft and is the type of politicians who naturally appeals to the young, educated intelligentia. I am yet to see any other politician from any other political party who can speak facts, legislature, figures, ideology, history, policy, present and future without resorting to lengthy populist slogans to divert attention away from their intellectual shortcomings. Bar only Zungula of ATM, maybe?

I don't know if it can happen for the EFF to be the official opposition party in this country, but I know that it would be a good thing considering that the da hasn't been an effective opposition to the ANC. The da (just like the ANC) has always been a self-serving party with no regards of the majority of the African people in this country.
