I never thought of a greyhound for this. its extremely entertaining.
Get your shit off of KZhead
Addicted to your videos. You must have some kind of quick release gate for your dogs. Anyway, love this! Don’t care for coyotes
I've always suspected that greyhounds had more value to the world than chasing a fake rabbit on a closed course. Now I've got a new rabbit hole to check out. They look so happy getting to run all out and catch a real target.
For sure!!
do u cross them ? in ireland we use collie / greyhound / pitbull / deerhound / wheaten terrier not all together lol but usually collie / grey / bull is a great cross or the grey/ deerhound / wheaten is a great cross
I cross dachshund, basset and a havanese.
Great video! Those rural coyotes act much different then those that live around and in metro areas -- they are used to dealing with "city dogs" who are completely clueless and often the coyotes will run even bigger dogs off. The dogs in this video don't seem to have any concerns about getting in the coyote's face.
This is the most intense hound hunting footage I’ve ever seen
Awesome thanks🤟🏼
My new favorite channel
Thanks!
Wow, just wow! What a rabbit hole to fall down, never knew this existed. Immediately my first thought was, these are the happiest greyhounds in existence, doing exactly what every instinct bred into them is telling them to do. Second thought was, vet bills must be insane, everything they have to be vaccinated against as yotes are scavengers plus bite wounds plus paw injury running through cut stalks. Thanks for making this, can see this, coupled with trackers to find dens, as complete eradication in an area. It won't stop migration back into an area, but unlike trapping, poison and hunting, will get all of them.
Thanks for watching!!!
"Buck is a badass." Yes sir, i think we all agree he is indeed, a badass! Interesting to see using greyhounds for their intended purposes, hunting. Great content!
I’d not heard about using greyhounds for hunting. Creative as hell. Well done.
Hello from Oklahoma! Good Video first off! This is what these dogs were used for way before they were bred as track dogs. Some have wolf hound, saluki, and other stuff mixed into the dog. They are site dogs and very good at what they do. I do enjoy watching them work. Thanks for the video! God Bless!
Yes. Greyhounds were bred for this purpose. From all the way back when there were big cats on the plains.
Grey Hound Dog
we use pitbull x grey hound here in the uk
Nice , I bet they stay in holds better than these ones here . These ones seem to pick up coyotes good but let go when they turn around and bite back . Need some dispatching power added.
i am an old jack rabbit courser. Our greyhounds were smaller and less able to tackle dangerous animals like yours. What happens if a different animal (bobcat or fox) jumps up ?? Or a jack rabbit? The drone is the only way to really see the drama play out.!! Great content!!!
Won't be seeing any bobcats in the cornfields of Iowa! LOL The drone camera is a great idea!
Greetings from n.w. alabama. I just found your channel. This is the most amazing way of hunting i have ever seen. Thank you for sharing. I am blown away at how fast your dogs are. Wow!!
That is without a doubt the most entertaining way to predator hunt I have ever seen, and from a Ford sd is hard core
Its a rush
As a Florida hog hunter. I enjoyed this. I'm a old man and learned something. Amazing pack of dogs you have. Enjoy your freedom as a American. Keep posting!!
Been nice to actually see up close footage instead of inside of truck!
How would you suppose they get it? Get out and run too?
Drone
You would probably get in trouble if you showed much up close.
@@deborahgrantham7387naw, mark it as educational purposes.
Give them time to develop their skills.
Bloody brilliant!!!!!
Thanks for watching!
PETA heads exploding !!!! lol 😂
🤟🏼
Brand new here just found you today. My question is, have any of your dogs been seriously hurt while hunting..ps. I love watching coyote hunting!!!
Sometimes but usually nothing the vet cant fix
Excellent dog working! You guys smashed some totes!😂😂😂😂😂🎉😅
This is for all the pets that have been taken by coyotes !!!!! go greyhounds
🤟🏼
keep them coming. love the drone too
Sure thing!
Awesome!
Best hounding footage ive come across, great job fellas!
Glad you enjoyed it
Double dipped... I like how you send em .. Them Dawgs make way more ground faster than a truck... 👍💯
Sure do. I hate bumper dumping
Awesome sauce!! Love this!
You’re videos are fantastic. I love the background music and I didn’t know that greyhounds had the balls to take on a coyote one on one like they do. Fantastic and I love what you guys do and it’s very entertaining.. thanks to guys like you. The greyhound freed will continue after the demise of Greyhound racing.
Thanks!
I have never heard of this! And never thought of greyhounds for this purpose! Wow is all I can say.
There pretty amazing
Just curious, do you let the dogs finish them off or do you end up shooting the coyotes? We have coyotes near where I live and I know how much damage they can do to peoples pets and farm animals.
Natural instinct.
Are these pure greyhounds or are they mixed with another breed ? they look a bit bulkier than the greyhounds you see at the race track
best in class hunting
Amazing!
Glad you liked it!!
Awesome action! Subbed.
Nice working dogs!💪💪👍
Thanks for the comment!
Great footage and dog work. What's an average speed for a coyote when they're being chased?
Around 35 mph
An added plus…. Gives the greyhound’s who Aren’t fast enough to race have some fun, and we’ll never run out of coyotes!!!
Yup we don’t use hot bloods aka race dogs for coyote hunting cause they don’t fight as good
That was exciting!!!
That. Was. Awesome!!
Yes it was!
right on .. brings back memories
Glad you liked it!!
Tough to get on video but you did just great.
🤟🏼
Get the drone and follow them it's amazing
Yippee ki-yay Cow Patties!!
Love hunting with the hounds. We have hounds at my grand mother village. Her younger brother had over 25 dogs. Whenever we went there on our vacations we would get the hounds and walk around in the fields looking for rabbits. It was so much fun, we kids would be very happy if we got a rabbit, if one would get away we would fight and blame each other. Sadly my grand uncle and 3 of his sons passed away with time but we still have our hounds and other dogs. We now even have dogs race in the memory of my grand uncle.
That’s awesome thanks for sharing!!
At the beginning of the video, you said that you were heading to the "flatlands". I'm just curious, where do you mean (roughly)? I have watched your videos before. But forget where you are located.
We are located in Iowa, on this video we went out west of Iowa.
@@Outdoorfever1 thanks for the reply.
This is so cool .
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Here I am hunting at night with thermals and y’all are sicking their brethren on em full light. Great work. This is awesome
Good video. Subscribed and working my way through your videos
WOW!
fantastic dogs .
Thanks!
Make sure U save a clip to show St Peter at the gate! Not sure you'll be let in but reap what U sow they say!
He'll get an award for hunting coyotes actually.
this video put me in my happy place..
Awesome!!
this is bad ass wish i could ride along
Maybe you can sometime, dont be afraid to reach out!
where you guys located @@Outdoorfever1
how many axels have you broken. great stuff.
None actually 😂 had to get a few alignments but
Studs!!!!❤🇺🇲
Thanks for watching!!!
Do you dispatch these coyotes, or do the greyhounds kill them before you get there?
They kill um
Great video!!! Looks exciting!!!
It sure is!!!
Holy smokes they're fast. You don't really get a handle on it when you see them racing against each other at a track, but in this context - sheesh. Some of those yotes had 100 yard lead on your dogs and they closed that ground in like 10 seconds. Freakin' amazing.
Thanks for the comment!!
God have is dogs to bond with and help us. Hunting included.
AWESOME GUYS
Thanks!!
Superb stuff, is Buck the top dog in the group?
His brother mom and sister are all the same way
what do you do if u see a pack of them? can the dogs take on more than 1 at a time?
Yeah they will split off and take both of them down
You don't know how lucky u are brilliant video. Keep up the good work 👏
Thank you, I will
Sweet
Thanks for the comment!!
Great idea though!!
Nice
Thanks for the comment!
That is awesome you guys need a fast drone
I have been to many greyhound races. I would guess on a straight line run chasing situation, these dogs develop their max speed capability. it never gets old watching them close the chase down of their target.
For sure!!
👍
Great video
Thanks!
badass x 3
Hell yeah
Good video
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Are they pure greyhound or lurchers
In the uk we cross greyhounds with a Pitbull or a Rhodesian Ridgeback absolutely top hunting machines
Interesting
@@Outdoorfever1 definitely would love to see how that cross works in the us 😎here In the UK they take almost every bit of game 💯
@@mrdynamic7887 we use bullxstags on coyotes but the best stags don't need the bull blood. Some call these dogs greyhounds, some call them stags, some call them coyote hounds. Most are a cross of greyhound and deerhound/wolfhound.
Lurchers
@@kiotewolfer3278 your right but the Pitbull or ridge back cross the greyhound make real heavy dog for big game we usually cross the collie with a greyhound and you get the Hancock Merle lots of good breeds for the different type of terrain German shepherd cross greyhound is a very good breed it's finding what suits you best
Nice work. Where do you guys get your greyhounds? There are a few organisations that find homes for retired racing greyhounds. Maybe they’d let you have some. That’d be a great new home for them.
We raise our own!!
Can you put a collar cam on ‘em? 🤔👍
Maybe
That was fun. It brought back memories. Were you hunting in Kansas or Texas
So glad!! Thanks for the comment!!!
Awesome footage, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the comment
Great job ! Those dogs are awesome ! My great uncle used greyhounds and followed on horseback in Kansas…………Happy Hunting Guys
Thanks!!
It’s a dog eat dog world!! Awesome videos gentlemen. You’ve got yourself some badass dogs there, keep up the good work.
Thanks, Will do!!
Boys what do you do when the hounds get injured?
Take um to the vet or fix um up ourselves
The guys around where i used to live use Walker fowler hounds for coyote huntin
July hound is big ol running walker... mid west? Sand hills nebraska?
amazing to see a new video!!!
Hope you enjoyed it!
This is prob a stupid question. Do they actually kill or hold ? I would assume kill since you mentioned a throat dog
Get them coyotes
Hell yeah
Hell ya I’ll subscribe
Thanks!
Great vid! Action packed! Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Love it. Great video. Looks like a to. Of fun
It was!
Kick Ass Video. Absolutely love it !
Thanks man
What kind of dogs are they??
Greyhounds!
What dog's you use?
Greyhounds
@@Outdoorfever1 Hunting with this breed is prohibited in Romania. Dogs are too fast .
What if the coyote is rabid? My vet told me that they are instructed to put them to forever sleep if they got bitten by rabies.
@crazycoyote1738 What century are you from -- you've never heard of rabies vaccinations? LOL
@@Mandolin1944 Of course we do brother, that’s what my vet told me, despite having all my great Pyrenees vaccinated. Another neighbor suggested not to report it and see what’s happening with the dogs in next few weeks.
are they pure greyhounds?
Most are.
Wow
Get some fellas!
That one White Dog can naturally born Fly...Damn it is so much Faster than the rest of pack..He is a Breeder.Abd tebreed his mom to same name if possible.Abd his litter mate sister too.
So what you do with the dead coyotes
Great Video! Dogs did great!
Thanks for watching!!! Glad you enjoyed it.
Called Coursing this side of the pond
Curious to know what State is this in. Don't think I seen a tree in the whole video. Awesome job guys.
Thanks!! Southern Iowa
Awesome footage! The drone footage was great! Love those hounds❤
Greyhounds have such thin skin... do you have to patch them up all the time if a yote takes a nip at em?
Nice. Keep the videos coming
Thanks! Will do!
