Flagrant is a comedy show that delivers unfiltered, unapologetic, and unruly hot takes directly to your dome piece. In an era dictated by political correctness, hosts Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh, along with AlexxMedia and Mark Gagnon, could care less about sensitivities. If it’s funny and flagrant it flies. If you are sensitive this podcast is not for you. But if you miss the days of comedians actually being funny instead of preaching to a choir then welcome to The Flagrancy.

Thats a darn good memory coming from an ex cocaine addict who's been thru as much as Joey has, but of course, the nerds will never fail to pounce on you because you were a little bit off on something.

  • I'll never forget the night that I went to the theater to watch Scarface back in December of 1983. I went with my homie Aaron Davis from High School, who was on leave from the Army to spend time with his family. I'm originally a Brooklynite from the mean streets of Flatbush, Brooklyn during the 1970s that Diaz is talking about and I can also remember the madness. However, I was living in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles at the time. Scarface fuckin' blew my mind at the time! It was the ultimate gangster film during that period. Al Pacino's swagger was off the charts! It captured the violence of that era in the biggest way. I knew that there was something special about this film. When I walked out of the theater, I told Aaron: "That movie was a dream come true." I still stand behind that comment forty years later. As a Brooklynite from the 1970s when the Mafia was ruling much of the city and clipping guys in broad daylight like back in the wild west, I should know!

    • @ninenine2438 Very true my brutha! Men were men, and boys were boys back in the 70s through the 1980s. American Street culture had so much more style and flavor! The authenticity was much more organic and uncensored. Back in the 1970s, if you had a problem with another kid, you would just box and the winner would get the proper respect! If you lost, you would still be respected if you put up a good fight. That was excepted as being manly!

  • They arrested a Dutch drug lord in Dubai two years ago. The dude is a Moroccan who grew up in the Netherlands. He inherited a hasj smuggling line from a family member and then turned that into a billion dollar cocaine network. He ordered the killing of two dozen people in the Netherland, including a respected lawyer and a famous crime reporter, paranoid from excessive use of his own product. Anyway, one of the interesting facts about this guy was that he was a fanatically obsessed with Scarface. Having grown up in the Netherlands myself, Scarface was a gigantic cultural icon throughout the 80s and 00s.

  • So it was released December 9th, in time for Christmas. Not even summer. Joey is the type of guy you gotta take a pinch of salt with it all. What is he trying to tell you. Read between the lines. He's basically saying people were there around Christmas watching a horrific violent movie. Hilarious image to imagine. He got the date wrong. Yeah, who cares. Outing him to seem funny is dumb. You're arguing with Joey about a specific date in 1984. You weren't even born. Chill. Just listen to uncle Joey. Y'all didn't grow up with Hispanic uncles and friends of the family. They talk like him all the time. I'm so used to it. Colombia has Joeys in every corner 😂🤣

The movie also got moved to L.A cause Pacino and the crew were getting legit death threats from the real drug gangsters cause they thought the movie was bringing too much heat on their turf back in 82` when it was getting made.
