    • Cejudo was an underdog in this fight. The majority actually wanted TJ to win since Dana was on his side as well. It is only after this fight that Cejudo's persona really started gaining traction. Then to boost it even further TJ got caught juicing and people saw Cejudo as a superb fighter for beating the EPO out of TJ, cementing the name TJ Dillepo.

    • Joseph Baillie he’s not a better fighter if he uses EPO my guy, that’s not how life works. Now you could consider this as an early stoppage if you want but from the ref’s point of view it was real difficult to tell, he gave him a cople seconds to trying do something and he didn’t.

  • I feel like this was the fight that truly woke up Henry Cejudo and turned him into a confident killer. DJ was nice and the fights were eh. But TJ made it personal and Cejudo having to literally shoulder the weight of the entire division as well as defend his belt against a fellow champ from the weight class ABOVE his. .. it truly flipped a switch in his mind where he HAD to become the best. You saw it in every fight after that. Moraes, Dom. He brought out a warrior spirit the likes we've never seen from him. Say what you want about his cringe persona, dude is a BEAST.

  • Man it has been an absolute pleasure being a Cejudo fan. Honestly there are not too many guys in the UFC I don’t like but all my friends doubted him for so long, they said no way he gets one back on MM, no way he beats TJ, and absoLUTELY no chance he beats Cruz. I never lost faith and the gloating afterward was marvelous. One of the best to ever do it, hands down. I see him beating Volk, too. Maybe not Zabit... I don’t see anyone beating Zabit in that division...
