It's necessary for someone to talk in a group environment. He is a good actor. It's just the choice of films which makes him absolutely unfit to be on this table. No need to bash him. In his own way, he is trying to make everyone comfortable because others are all silent. I feel both Akshay and Varun can be replaced from the table with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Naseeruddin Shah but then it won't be a light conversation. It's the same way how group projects work. If they had put Ranveer Singh here, he is also a good actor but he'd be too extroverted. Hence, it makes sense to add Varun. He is respecting everyone and showing his appreciation. It's just the movies he has done which stops us from seeing him as someone who can't fit between these good actors.

We aren't saying he is bad actor, but considering the topics & experiences folks are sharing, he could have chosen what to say & when to give more chances for others to speak. It sounded weird but his point was not "I wanted to make out" his point was that when you're acting and you get an intuition and you know that it's correct, you believe in it yet still the director tells you that no you won't do that, that clash of ideas is really difficult to get over because now your perception of the whole character have to change and you HAVE to be out of your comfort zone and realise that this is not you. This is the character. And the character does not think like you do. And you have to alter your thinking to that of the character now and what the director is thinking. The point was good but the example seemed weird. You'd know if you'd act.

In this entire talk...the one thing that i like the behaviour of akshay sir towards irfan sir. ❤ The interviewer could talk in their comfort zone. I don't think they were feeling comfortable.
Rajkumar & Sir Irfaan was quite genuine on their opinion & Varun was clear in his answers , on the other hand Akshay was "amiable" in his answers & Ayushmaan 👌🏻

@@shanu6478 bro u won't believe before the day he died I was watching his Acting Master class video till early morning 4am. Same day morning around 11am came to know he died. I was blank. I couldn't control my tears. I believe he may leave us but his acting and passion for cinema left in us.
