  • I’d also add things like eating as healthy as possible, keeping hydrated and sleeping 7-9 hours a night to keep all the hair and skin as healthy as possible.

  • Lower risk using Just For Men Control GX for beard, it’s a shampoo to add colour to greys. Works on brows too.

  • Just to add to this you can also derma roll the area 1-2 times a week along with applying minoxidil and they will grow a lot

    • That’s what I do. Some people genetically aren’t very responsive to minoxidil, and using tretinoin on the area as well as derma rolling/micro needling increases sensitivity to minoxidil

    • The frequency depends on the length. Like you shouldn't use dermaroller that goes 2mm or more deep more than twice a month

  • Do NOT use oral minoxidil unless you have a serious reason to do so! Use topical minoxidil if anything. It is a drug that lowers blood pressure and can come with very significant side effects. Plus, it makes all your hair indiscriminately grow all over your body. Additionally, scalp hair will become dependent on minoxidil and all the hair you built through it will fall out after stopping its use. So no, recommending taking oral minoxidil for thicker eyebrows is actually a really irresponsible thing to do.

  • Minoxidil doesn't stop the hair from falling out, it just brings more blood flow to the hair. You need Dutasteride to block the effect of alopecia.

  • Only dye the outer part of the eyebrows where it is thinner and looks lighter. It will look natural this way rather than if you dye the lot. Experiment with a small section and use either a light shade or if using a darker one since out before then recommended time to give a lighter but stronger colour.

  • Trimming is only neaded if wild thick eyebrows. To get better eyebrows - minoxidil, and brow dye. One BIG thing missing - eyebrow pencil - fast AF darker brows, just don't overdo it

  • You’re getting the mechanics behind minoxidil wrong, it actually makes the growth phase of the hair cycle longer and the resting, resetting and falling out phases shorter. This may or may not be the cause of increased blood flow but either way the main effect is how it effects the hair cycle

  • Another option he doesn’t mention is microblading or any other semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing. I have naturally medium brows, so the tattoo I get hides easily and looks extremely natural, just makes my brows look really thick. I even get it so that it corrects the natural asymmetry of my brows. I get it done every year or so and I love how it looks.

  • The best advice is to search for a good tattoo specialist in eyebrows, micropigmentation for eyebrows are amazing and it looks very real. I advice to only do it if you already have some hairs and you want to fill it up and create those full brows.

  • I asked a doctor and done my own research on current studies about oral vs topical minoxidil and the current general opinion is there is not enough of a difference to switch to the other. The only reason to switch would be if one is not being effective

  • In the pictures of Jessie Isenberg and Robert Pattinson, they changed other things apart from the eyebrows. Jessie got darker eyes as well with the strong eyebrows and Robert got slightly paler skin and lighter stubble in the picture with weak eyebrows. I'm not saying the eyebrows don't make a difference, of course that's what changed their looks the most in the different pictures, but it's not the only thing that made that huge change in appearance.

  • I would recommend oral minoxidil over topical just cause you don't have to deal with the minoxidil flakes. I used topical for like a year and no matter how many times i washed my hair i could never get that under control cause you literally have to keep using Minoxidil. It was so annoying

  • I got soo bad frizzy hairs. Can you pls give me some tips? And since I use shampoo once a week, my hair structure in generell got way better (except of he frizzy hair) but I got some small white things in my hair. Dandruff is how they re called ig.   • My eyebrows started falling out during covid. I realized I was rubbing them with my hands as a nervous habit and they would fall out all over my shirt and desk. LOL So I had to train myself not to do that by putting Vaseline on them. I also started taking Biotin and that seemed to help for making them grow faster and stronger. I tried Minoxidil liquid directly on the eyebrows and that was a mistake I'll never make again. Most intense burning and itching that lasted for weeks. I guess I'm allergic to it. But coloring them or using a little eyebrow pencil, (they have them for men now) helps.

  • Careful on the eyebrow serum. They contain prostaglandin analogs to promote hair growth. However, these products can have nasty side effects. Alarming that you don’t warn viewers of this.

    • I tried the Ordinary Lash and Brow serum on one brow and used RapidBrow on the other brow. The ordinary’s serum doesn’t work. The RapidBrow works. I was hoping the Ordinary ($14.50) would work since it’s so much cheaper than RapidBrow ($50). I’ve been using RapidBrow for several years because it works great. Sometimes my barber has to take his scissors to trim them because they grow like weeds. The only concern is that it contains prostaglandin analogs so some people may develop certain side effects while others may not.
