Cobra Dual Dash Cam
I quit watching approx 3 minutes in. I expect a video review to be more than multiple advertisements.
Aukey: just installed 3 days ago. I just posted a review in the States.
New cars should have built-in dash cams as standard with internal storage on a hard drive. They should also be working even when the car is parked.
many vehicles currently are using 360 degree technology so it sure seems simple enough to add the dashcam and also avoid the use of cords hanging out all over the windshield etc. Glad to see someone pointing out the standard equipment concept. Something else that is needed is auto turn on of headlights, not as user choice but by default.
People would complain about privacy being invaded. Just like they do with street 📷
|People also complain about mobile location tracking, but still use their phones. If we listen to every complaint, we''ll still be stuck in the 16th century. @@donnelmoss757
@@kenco777 true but thats life. That's all it takes is a little bit of people to complain.
Those people who complain about privacy can choose to move to a secluded island or forest in the middle of nowhere, get rid of all technology and live like Tarzan... wait, they might still eventually get found by forest patrol or something, the only option left is sailing on international waters and hope to never be attacked by pirate vessels, this way they can guarantee 100% privacy in their lives
Don't bother watching its just a copy and paste ads from each camera no reviews whatsoever
(6:20) The voice of the Speed Zone Alert informs the driver "Speed limit is 70mph" as they approach a stop sign at an intersection in the middle of downtown.
Great. Thank you for sharing.
This isn't a review. Just a series of adverts cut together. What a waste of time.
Agree its just another clickbait video.
Never claimed it was a review
This all channel is fake. I've heard more and more fake channels are created every day. All subscriptions are fake. Soon will be no real channels left. KZhead is breaking.
Agree, just another channel pushing what they want to sell. Waste of time, total fail.
All of these are commercials. Have you personally tested any of these dash cam to actually confirm why these are ranked the best?
I guess NO, he is just marketing
Excellent point, and as usual, a BULLSHIT video with a BULLSHIT title.
I must have missed the review of the Yi camera...wonder how the video looked...
6:23 Speed limit is 70mph Sign to the right shows limit is 15mph!
No mention of camera survival in over 100 degree summer heat. In my experience (over 25 different dash cams) went survive. Part of it is due to direct sun when you mount to windshield. I use mobious camera for last 3 years and it survived all summer's. It's small discrete and inexpensive. I mount it next to wiser away from sun. That's what I recommend.
cisa93 I used it in TX. It was over 110 thg is summer. Also, they dont always work when it gets very cold, that's something to consider as well.
Just look up Mobius on amazon. Its action camera, but you can still adjust settings to do loop recording. There is no screen and only 3 buttons but you dont need all that. There is refular and wide angle. I use regular as in wide objects seem so far away. The battery can go bed over time if exposed to heat, but you can replace battery with capacitor, you can look up on KZhead. That way heat isnt an issue at all. Downside it won't have internal battery to use outside the car but I only need it inside the car.
How do you run the wires for the rear camera in general?
Oh good, the thinkview makes you hit trees instead of deer. What a fantastic feature!
lol that's the Toyota feature if you get one heehee!!
Yea... Try explaining that one to the cops "Sir, my dashcam told me to hit this tree!"
Stupid right
My transcend drive pro 100 battery failed after 3 years of use. Still working using the 5v input but had to reset the time and date every time I start my car.
In California battery based dashcams die because of heat I now use non battery operated ones I've been through 2 battery ones in less than a year I switched 2 years ago and now I have 2 years with no problems 👍
So No Run time or loop? How they deal with Heat and snow? Can you leave it in the heat or cold?
Does any of these have parking mode with motion detector? For protection while you are parked
I think the lastest Blackvue dash cam has it.
DJ Trinivibes the thinkware does but don’t enable the lane departure warning you’ll never be able to turn it back off and mine dings constantly. A ten min drive alone is torture .thinkware tech support does nothing bout it too.
9:20 Oh yeah, that's just great, having a cable permanently flopping around across your windscreen and your field of vision. At least explain that it's possible to hide the cable around the windscreen in the trim of the car. Unless the cable is too short in which case you should give this product a miss.
I noticed the impact warning beeped at 04.08 when headed for Prancer, but in swerving towards the tree no warning sounds.
Still waiting for one of these companies to provide a camera that can be coupled with an OBD port to record vehicle stats (steering angle, acell/braking, turn signals, ect).
...you mean OBD3...no thanks
Owl camera plugs into obd port
Cool but where will i get this cams ?
Is there any wirelesd dash cams around
My experience with my Blackvue was it couldn't handle the heat. Had to unplug it whenever I left car sitting in summer. Pittasoft left me high and dry when it failed in less than a year, using the excuse I didn't buy it DIRECT from them. It was an original not a copy. They charge alot of money for a product that is not practical and will not stand behind you when it fails. WHEN it fails. Look for something else.
Sorry but cant agree and if it was turned off it wouldnt heat up from use so why unplug it. Obviously you tried to save money and bought it from an unauthorised seller and quite rightly got refused service.
Cigarette jacks in car always on. So have to unplug to stop from heating up. And what does it matter WHO I bought it from? Its the same unit. Its poorly designed. Check online and you will see - I wasn't the only one who had the problem... including those who bought it from their website. its GARBAGE - no matter where one gets it from. And if you create a poor product, then OWE UP to your mistake and accept responsibility - and not just bail.
It was connected through cigarette lighter adapter... so when it was plugged in, it was on. And if it was left on (in the summer) in a parked car, it would overheat. Doesn't matter where it was bought from, it is a manufacturer defect... and if you make something crap, owe up and take responsibility for it. And since you seem to defend them so easily, I take it you are either a Blackvue dealer or work for them... or a tester who gets free stuff / favors from them. Anyways - as for everyone else who reads this - take my word for it - these units were garbage and I haven't heard the new ones are any better. Take your money elsewhere and buy something that can handle the heat. And it won't matter if you buy from them direct or through a third party reseller - they will probably leave you high and dry if it craps out due to their poor manufacturing and engineering.
Anyone have any experience of Thinkware? I so love their stealthy design, partly because it dosent look alot like a camera (hopefully attracts less thiefes..) But im worried it gets hot, since so compact..
your an idiot. read up on BlackVue and heat related shutdowns. Just because it was a large purchase for you do not need you should be a fanboy over a brand.
Dont bother with the Blackvue as the a lot of the camera quality is blurry and is out of focus,as I have found out the hard way.Their support dont want to know anything about it when you connect them too.Viofo A119 seems better for less than half the price.
I have the vantrue pro n2 dash cam it could barely capture a license plate right in front of me when car was fully stopping let alone hit n run 😛 ...
Today's vehicles should have a front and rear facing cam, at least as an option or part of their tech package. The cameras would have to be minimum 2K, preferably 4K. Cameras should turn on automatically when the vehicle is on and when parked when there is an impact or motion that gets detected within 10' of the vehicle (for security/theft possibility). All ON/OFF and recording modes should be adjustable by the owner as well. Cameras should be linked with any smart phone through an available app so people can control and view the camera anytime. Furthermore, the front facing camera should also have a hidden internal facing side that could be activated in case of emergency or theft. The cameras should be accessible for possible repair/replacement when applicable. What would be really nice is, if all brands used a unified/universal connectors so you could remove the broken or outdated camera and connect a good/better one later on just by, maybe, removing couple or screws to open the compartment/bezel then pulling out the camera to disconnect from the base. power lines would already be preinstalled and not be connecting to the camera but instead connecting directly to the base which would make replacements/upgrades much easier and simpler as well.
Make sure whatever you consider uses a super-capacitor rather than a battery for closing out the recording when turning ignition off. Batteries rapidly fail under the heat of the sun.
It’s pretty cool how much is it ?
What camera can do that.send me the link below thanks
What’s the song in the first couple minutes of the video
What kind of music that your playing? 0:10 to 1:20
I love VAVA Dash Cam
Buy Action cam as sj4000 ore Mgcool Epxplorer with shark Eye lens 170 wide. and you got perfect bether videos for a cheaper buck.
I really cannot understand the point of a 2 channel camera. It just makes everything more difficult; particularly running a thick cable from the front camera to the back windscreen. I have two entirely separate cameras; one front and one back.
Why does it say Yi 4K at the end of the video when it’s actually a 1080p camera?
As a long time dashcam user I would say that all those cameras are pointed too high 1/3 sky 2/3 land is by far the best and I have had Blackvues for 6 years and only the original DR 400 has been affected by heat I own 2x 750s 2 Dr450 and 2 old Dr400 which still work. Had a DR500 which worked fine in Aussie outback heat , Texas in the summer. Alaska in early spring and Vegas in June /July It died when I did a bad soldering job when relacing the memory battery. Have not had any heat problems with any of the others and it gets up to 40C here at home
GH In your opinion, which is your recommended camera that is front and rear camera, clear enough to read license plates, time lapse, and can withstand Texas heat? Plz and thank you.
Well I have used Blackvue cameras for 6 years with success I had a DR500GW-HD on my USA holiday and used it everyhere from Alaska right down to Florida and across Texas and Arizona, Nevada to California and it never missed a beat. Where I live in Australia it gets up to nearly 40 C in the summer and my cameras work ok. I have a BV 750S in the front of 2 cars and a DR450 in the rear of mine. I did it like this because they are all HD and at the time the rears available were only 720p The new 750S 2ch would be my pick is HD in both. Has proved to be better than the newer 900 and only use 30fps and it wont heat up.
Good to know
@@TG-qu2fq sorry didn't know you had replied, thanks for taking the time to reply I will definitely look into these
I need something that will not fail me . My Goluk failed me yesterday just when I needed it.
I am considering the Goluk T3. Can I ask what kind of problem did you have with yours?
Hello My name is Francisco, I am interested in the cameras you have on display or video, you have a hidden camera from different angles, since I am interested in having several inside my vehicle for security reasons, since I worked in Puerto Rico doing Uber
One i know of cost about $1500. It has 16 channels I believe.
Why not the Yi Mirror Dashcam?
how about a built in solution with no visual wires?
Notice the first cam, Aukey brand. The recorded videos are all sped up for a reason. It's a dual channel cam that saves both (front and back) images in one second intervals to an SD card. At normal speed you see a brief stutter in the image, second after second after second after… Sped up you don't see this. Watching on a different video, I became uneasy with the peripheral stuttering, it made it so hard to watch, so it lost its candidate status. Buyer be aware.
What happened to VIOFO A129
Trouble with these is you need to keep replacing SD cards as they don't last very long due to constant recording.
3:40 - 7:30 thinkware the best I think
Nice
I use a 1970s 35 mm camera and take a picture every 30 seconds as I'm driving it works just like a dashcamara the only problem I'd that is too expensive to develop the pictures , it cost me 5000$ a week but it's worth it in case of an accident I have the pictures.
😃👍🏻
i wish there is dash cam that never shuts off like security cam so that way its always recording and also wish there is a hard drive plug in for vehicles those two things isnt hard to achieve because its nothing new
Xiaowei Tan that’s just as bad as leaving your car lights on 24/7. Hence why they make dashcams that keep recordings only when there’s an impact.
Can u guys recommend a dash that can operate on really high heat? During summer - peaked heat will go up to 112 degrees outside . Dual channel I bought in Amazon overheats a lot -
112°C?! Hmmmmm where do you live?? That's hectic. Maximum I've been exposed to is 38°C.
@@fancyIOP F not C
@@jd5179 😅😁ok cool...still high though, I made a conversion and it's 44°C.
Yeah he lives in hell 🙄
Any capacitor based dash cam will work in high temp climates.
The problem with the majority of dash cams is they automatically delete footage unless you specifically save it before it loops. The ones that don't, like the ones in police cars start at a grand and go up.
Depends on dashcam & also memory cards to how long it lasts, unless it was a triggered event(parking or driving) or manually saved event which will not be over-written & are saved till memory formatted.I have a 64gig card and it holds 12 hours over video in 4k(constant recording, in parking mode it only records once movement or impact is detected), so you have plenty of time to see something if you get back to the card during the record cycle or double the card size & get 24hours of video. mine was the blackvue without rear camera and I got from a dealer on ebay for $400 with a factory 64gig card added & it still had the factory 16gig card in the package also.
Righty tightie... then he spins it to the left to tighten it. lol
This camera can function when ignition is off
should be installed by manufacturer as standard and discounted insurance given for doing so
1:52 hehehe
6:23 speed limits 70 MPH )))) (in town)
how i can buy it in india
I use an old iPhone (64GB) in lether case as dash cam. Perfect image. At the front i push it between my window and dashboard and at the back i made a wooden standard to clamp in. If needed i power them with a usb sigaret lighter. If something happen you can scroll direct to the point it happen. Show an officer the accident. No downloads ect at home.
Jor B wow great idea could you send me pic to see how did you install them?
Is Ferrari included in the pack ?
Can anyone recommend a good dash cam that will work when my car is off at night and parked on the street? One that can continue to record for hours. ?
Yes, I have an original DDPai mini. It automatically goes into parking mode once the car is still for 15 minutes. It takes 128 gig memory card. It works brilliantly with no problems. I have just paid for a DDPai mini 2 for my son. This has 2k resolution. Unfortunately, the first one that turned up then here immediately failed. I have ordered another one and I'm hoping that's just the one off.

Rexing V1P 2.4" LCD FHD Dash Cam i think this is better
I'm glad these things weren't around when I was a teenager.
Best dash cam is your smartphone. Look at apps like Open Dash Cam for Android or others, very convenient
What garbage. So at you going to leave your phone kn your car whilst its parked.
@@royalstevep68 no, the dash cams do not record while you're parked anyway. It is just a free alternative
@@SollMaN90 It depends on how they are wired. I have 4 Mobius cams in my car (front, rear and sides) and they are wired to a rocker switch just under the dash running on a aux battery pack. I leave them on when I am in places like Home Depot and such.
you can't leave dash cams in cars overnite now because the theft rate is going up.
That's where the compustar t11 and a gun comes into play.
Migrants issue?
You can, Andy, if it's incorporated into the rear view mirror like all of mine. Even my rear facing cameras a so small that you have to *really* look for them.

Wow
That’s all nice but I want something that’s going to do a 360 Watch why my car is parking when my car is not parking it’s on the road like myself
Sha Money VAVA dash cam
Go on eBay
Sha Money you can always plug the dashcam to an external usb battery
At this point I just put my phone on a mount and record while I drive
And what a about other features like parking mode.
The main problem is supplying power and fitting those wires
WHAT?? At 6:25 into the video, the dashcam voice says "Speed limit is 70 miles per hour". REALLY? On a city street, at an intersection with a stop sign? Who would listen to a voice that made an assinine statement like that?
Needs to come with three cameras so you get video of the person who just pulled you over.
You can get a great camera for just $600. Yea, right. Most of them have complaints of failure after a year. Yes, theyre great, when they work. My garmin failed and the Mfg has no way to reset it being frozen and if its after 30days, your screwed, like I am. Don't buy the Garmin Dash Cam 20 by the way.
I decided not to buy a dashcam until I see honest review like CarCamCentral
A. Muhammad bro honestly, I’m looking at just getting a GoPro and the reviews and clarity at hands down the best. The only problem with them is it doesn’t loop when memory full and doesn’t give GPS, etc coordinates. But it’s very very clear and stable.
Sofa King GoPro is the way to go. Ive been using my GoPro Hero Session 4 since it came out. I use it as a dash cam. I keep it on 1080p superview @48 FPS. I use SanDisk Extreme Plus 64GB MicroSD. Never had problems with that memory card. I'm not sure which GoPro to which you are referring. Hero Session 4 has a loop setting. It never runs out of memory since it records over old footage. Battery never dies because I have it plugged into power while in use. I bought one for use after seeing several motorcycle riders with them mounted to their helmets. Session series was discontinued after 5.
@@dianevrules i decided to get the GoPro 7 Black and haven't looked back. Its awesome. I use it as a dashcam, camera, and filming event so its way more versatile than any "dashcam". I love it!
'Wireless' - adj. - without wires
If there's just one, that won't fall off the windshield in the summer heat, I'll buy it. Otherwise, they're useless. I got tired of re-sticking it to the glass.
Oh Deer....Who put that tree there on the corner where people can run into it???
I wouldnt buy Blackvue again if they paid me. I ave the 650s but there are too many variables with it. Heres my Ebay review of it. I bought this DVR thinking I was buying a quality product. The first mistake I made was buying the 16gb version. I already had two good quality class 10 Micro SD Cards so didn't think I needed any bigger a version. Hmmm. First Issue was I was unable to download files from the DVR to my phone via the inbuilt Wifi. Contacted Blackvue to be told that this was more than likely due to me not using their Micro SD card. So put the Blackvue SD card in and I was able to download via Wifi. No issue ill just remove the card and use it in an adaptor in my laptop. Second issue. The DVR started constantly started Restarting itself. I wonder....... A quick google and yup its because i'm not using the Blackvue SD card..... Third issue. I have wound back the sensitivity settings to 15/15/15(out of 100/100/100) and still I get an "Event" going over the slightest of crack in the road. I dont own a Supercar, a Sports Car or even a Hot Hatchback, just a normal everyday run off the mill Honda Civic. You think its the SD Cards im using? Issue 4. Even using the Blackvue MSD card if you want to view a file over the Wifi direct from the DVR the buffering is absolutely atrocious!!!! For those of us old enough to remember 56k internet, if you remember trying to watch a video using 56k its pretty similar, in fact no, its exactly the same as that. Have Blackvue built some kind of Apple style Redundancy into this product, im not really sure. I really can not recommend this product. In fact I now wish I had bought a Viofo A119s instead, I really do.
I've had a BlackVue for 3 years, very reliable Korean made. Chinese cams will disappoint you.
Was expecting a review, got a 10 minute advertisement of repackaged manufacturer media info. Thumbs down.

Disapointing, I was looking for real info, videos ran way too fast, writing was placed in too many places and went off screen too fast also. How about slow it down, a bit of narration, give some prices and how about your personal opinion of the product you supposedly tested. My eyes are still flashing back and forth from the quick screen changes, I had to stop it, unwatchable!
I’ll be glad when they invent a solar powered dash cam so we can get rid of them annoying ass cords.
