Hi everyone, this is my reconstruction of all the footage taken of Paul, Ringo, and George on June 23rd 1994 during their reunion at Friar Park. I have collected all the interview clips from the main Anthology series as well as the bonus DVD, as well as utilizing all available footage for the acoustic jams and the ukelele session. Blue Moon of Kentucky also contains multicams I have created using two different edits. Enjoy!
(I am not fully certain the home movie at the start is actually June 23rd as well, but I have gotten this date from every source I have looked into, and all three seem to be wearing similar clothing)
Track Listing:
1. Reunion Home Movie shot by Ringo / Paul 0:00
2. Riding in George’s Sports Car 0:56
3. Group Interviews 1:30
4. Acoustic Session:
- Raunchy 15:20
- Thinking of Linking 16:58
- Blue Moon of Kentucky 18:25
- Unknown(?) 19:31
5. Outdoor Ukelele Session:
- Baby What You Want Me To Do 19:38
- I Will 21:26
- Dehra Dun 21:53
- Ain’t She Sweet 22:20

    • Yes, the vulnerability. I think, to this day Ringo can't believe he fell into the #1 musical act in history. Ringo the everyman. Paul the hyperstar reaches out and, effectively, pats him on the head. On the bother hand, Ringo married Barbara Bach.

    • He was referring to the two songs they released during the Anthology event. Yoko Ono provided the surviving members a tape of John Lennon, recording 3 incomplete demos in 1977. The first two of the 3, "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love" were successfully finished by Paul, George, and Ringo, and their subsequent music videos played at the end of the first 2 nights of a 3 night televised event. The third song unfortunately had Lennon's vocals drowned out by his piano, and even though the remaining 3 members did in fact attempt to work on it, the technology available in 1994 didn't allow for the song to be remastered clear enough for a proper release. It was subsequently shelved for almost another 30 years....until LAST MONTH! Yes...The song I'm referring to is "Now and Then". Director Peter Jackson and his team, while working on the Get Back documentary, developed isolation technology which was able to separate Lennon's vocals from the piano that was previously drowning him out. Since they made a sincere attempt to complete this song like the other 2, back in 1994, they still had Harrison's guitar work on file. So "Now and Then". Is truly, and most likely, the last Beatles song featuring all four members.

The rest of them had a "me me me" thing going on and it's always insufferable. I actually ran into Ringo on Christmas day 1995 in Chelsea and he was , "how ah yah lads", then he was gone into meet people. I never really see him as the guy I met on Christmas day. He was totally down to earth inside. No "me me me" at all, even though there was a fair bit of "you you you" going on. I didn't actually "meet" Ringo. I decide not to, even though I really wanted to. Mary Holland was there as well and she was insufferable. I had to get away from her!!

Both in their 80's and both still performing - enjoy them while you can folks - No one lives for ever - their name will live for evermore but the bodies will not. God bless 'em. Chuck's face was an absolute picture, as if to say "wot da actual Fu*K was dat?" Then Chuck instructed the sound engineer to silence her mic, and she tried again, but of course, she could not be heard. That was Hilarious.

He had heard ‘Coming Up’ on the radio and it made a big impression on him at the time (it caused him to get excited to make Double Fantasy). Or so the story goes. They did an impromptu jam at Eric Clapton's wedding in 1979 also Paul and Ringo played on Georges "All those years ago" in 1981.

    • I know that they did meet the three of them not too long before George passed away, and there were no cameras for that meeting. We don't know many details, but it was big on reminiscing and rather feel-good given the circumstances. George also saw both of them separately only days before. They both mentioned it in their interviews. There is one where Paul talks about holding holding hands with George, including the soft thumb stroking and demonstrates on Ringo (they are interviewed together). He talks about how being soft with your male friends or telling them you loved them wasn't a thing back in the days when they were young, which in my eyes makes that moment even more poignant. Being able to farewell George was one of the consolations of his passing (which was something denied them with John's sudden death). And I am glad they found peace in their friendship in the end after many turbulent years. I mean, Paul and George knew each other first. But Ringo and George had a strong and less complicated friendship for many years and collaborated many times, so maybe that's where the loss was most felt? Ringo has a tribute song for George, but I don't think Paul recorded one? So it seems that the closure allowed for Paul and George was enough for Paul to 'Let it be'. He always sounds fond when mentioning George, but it seems that John is the loss he can not get over. But maybe it seems that way because he tends to be asked about John continuously and frequently so we get more soundbites.

    • @@LusiaEyre Glad to know they got some private time. That makes me happy. In regards to Paul's loss of George vs John, I would imagine it would be much harder to deal with John's loss....guy was taken away unexpectedly for one thing. For another, they hadn't really kissed and made up all that well at that point (I think, I'm not an expert, but that's what I seem to recall). Whereas with George, they had some time to heal wounds, plus George's death wasn't totally out of the blue. Of course, I am purely speculating. Interesting to think about though.
