The Brabus 800 S63 AMG is a Luxury Powerhouse!
When Brabus get involved, you know it's going to be something special! This is the Mercedes-AMG S63, the top model of the facelifted S Class, except this one has 800hp and 1,000Nm thanks to new turbos and other upgrades from Brabus. Not only does it have the incredible amount of power, but it's also the ultimate in luxury on the inside!
Brabus take the 4.0l biturbo V8 from the standard 612hp to 800hp via new turbos, exhaust and software, as well as the torque from 900Nm to 1,000Nm. On the exterior you'll find new carbon fibre parts including the front lip splitter, intake addons, new wheels, and at the rear a lip spoiler and diffuser, as well as a switchable exhaust system.
On the inside we're greeted by a Mercedes S Class that's loaded with the absolutely top end in technology and phenomenal gadgetry with which to explore. From the wide cockpit displays with night vision cameras, to the fragrance dispenser and fridge for the rear passengers, the technology knows no limits!

Next time you visit Brabus i would recommend going north on the A31 instead of the A2 you went on. The A2 is basically the east/west axis with very high traffic during the week and in general. Whereas the A31 is almost always completely empty and thats where brabus tests their own cars as well. Just a little insider tip from a fellow car enthusiast ;)

Indeed I always drive this autobahn when I rent a car. Just to test the acceleration and top speed. The A31 is a nice autobahn test.
Florian Altmann You‘re right. The best option is the A31, it goes very straight but at the moment there are some roadworks. I can hear the testdrives on the A2 and A31 at night, because I live 3km from Brabus away ;) Thier cars are very loud :D

The S-Class is a really relaxing car. You can drive endless miles and when you reach your destination in first class comfort you are certainly relaxed by the great noise insulation, massage-seats and so on...

I love the s class and when you take the s63/65 to them, it only gets better. If I was going to have one though, it would be the Rocket 900 and I would get the custom interior too. In my opinion, this is the best car for everything. It can beat most supercars, it’s nice and luxurious, and it has a decent amount of cargo space, AND you can use it as a luxury “limo” if you want with a driver. What more can you ask for? It’s perfect

What were they thinking when designing that radar system in the grill?
Mercedes actually offers an option where all the radar and other technological elements are hidden inside that big Mercedes star. This one probably doesn’t have that because it’s a custom Brabus grill.
nee her The cars that have the radar in the star are all the lower cars. The s-class still has the star on top of the hood and therefore this black square in the grill.

In the future as tech gets better you'll see the size of that radar system get smaller. Just like every other new piece of tech. Personally it looks so out of place I actually like it.

16:32 when you turn the back tablet on it's written AMG and not BRABUS which is also not very cool and does not very pro for an independent preparator in my opinion.I thought they were optimizing more than the engine and the bodykit at brabus company because already the price is super upgraded(even the logo on the steering wheel is not replaced it would have been easy to do) s63s amg normal price start at 118500e brabus s800 price is 332600e and that makes a very huge unterschied and it let this model be the most special scam of the brabus home!but if they would offer it to me i would not spit on it !!! nice video by the way!

They probably set the limiter at 300 kmh, because they're having cooling issues. The original Brabus Rocket had some serious cooling issues when accelerating to 340 kmh. You can search the video and just watch the oil temperature go from 80 degrees to 120 degrees in less then half a minute.

Willy Lamb With a regular S63 AMG it is not a problem when driving 300 kmh. Of course it’s really fast, I’m not saying it’s not, but I don’t really see the advantage of an B800 vs an regular S63 except the looks. The acceleration is nice, but you can’t drive faster than the S63 regular. Although it looks awesome!
Felix Here’s the thing. Top speed barely matters. Almost nobody is going to cruise above 300kph in this car, except for one time to test the top speed, and then only if they live in Germany. It’s all about that acceleration between 100 and 200kph, and the Brabus is just better at that. That’s why someone would get this.
I would like to be 20-30 kmh faster than a regular fast mercedes or audi.

The S-class doesn't follow the typical 4-year model cycle with 2-year facelift. It's considerably longer. The previous model, W221 was produced from 2006-2013 so if the current W222 (2014-> ?) has a similar lifespan, then we're looking at 2021 before the new one comes out.
