Rick Rufus was the first leg kick fail.
I call it chopping down the tree.
The Great Equalizer. No matter how big, tall, strong or tough you are, those knee joints are no sturdier than anybody else's.
Low kicks = chopping down a tree with an axe. It may take a few hits, but with enough you will knock down any tree.
Deadleg is a painful, painful thing. Being KO'd you might be alright after a headache but you will feel that leg for weeks after a strong, well-placed leg kick
That rat tail @7:45 is pretty epic.
Im adding these kicks to my arsenal.
Painful even watching it.
One of the most effective kicks in the sport as well as one of the most easiest to defend your self from.
It's fascinating how so many professional fighters in this video can't seem to figure out the "most easiest" way to defend against these kicks yet a KZhead genius can.

@@BJBDF So by inference, no-one survives a leg attack? One method is to move away from the kicking side and never allow a right-footer to anchor his supporting left leg......for the rest, ask the numerous survivors.
Playing Tekken with one button 😆
Leg kick makes you immobile, unbalanced and is very painful.
This is basically me, playing my son on Mortal kombat.😂
These kicks on the quads hurts af. I've taken uppercuts, good hits on the head, even leg kicks on the head but a light kick to the quads was the worst feeling. It took me like 5 min to recover.
alexey ignashov brutal kicks
Chopping wood!!!
Imagine both fighters train to chop legs and meet in a fight.
This is how i beat shao Kahn in mk3
Sagat the best 1:08
This exactly why bruce lee has some chance against tyson
No way!😆
Once you hit the mat the first time you’re done. Every kick after that is gonna feel like death
Until you check the kick with the knee and happens what happened to Silva that cracked in two, ending his career for ever.
Twist da weak knee is all you need
Que impresionante!😱😱😱
RIP "Andy hug"😒
1. ernest hoost 2. andy hug 3. mirko cro cop
inspired from famous bout of muay thai vs kick boxing
its like they have no counter to the leg kick, like they have never seen this move before
Kick beats a Punch....
Better have a faulty leg than a faulty head later in life... I guess..
Gona work hard on my power kicks because my boxing isn't so great ahah!
Imagine a sport where cheap Shots are legal🤣
Not cheap shots.
Longest weapon shortest target…🍺
It makes you unable to sit on a stool.😂😂😂
The legs function as a stance when fighting, when the stance is weak then he no longer has the strength to fight and feels frustrated. something that is emotionally draining defeat 😂😂😂
This reminds me of the boondocks episode where the guy is getting interogated, but he wont spill any secrets... then the interrogator puts on a metal boot, walks all the way down the hall and starts sprinting. The interogated hears the metal boot coming closer and closer then BAM! Kicked in deez!
My meniscus dislikes this video.
Always think about the permanent damage these fighters must suffer. How does this affect them as they get older .....
Normally the KO happens cause the muscles give in. It’s not breaking bone (normally)
@@dylanrooney5605 But what about all that constant pounding to the head and brain injuries and then the constant wear and tear of knees and other joints. Has there ever been a study of older fighters and how they do in later life. What about when someone gets almost knockout and then the other fighter pounds on their heads a few times before the referee intervenes. MMA is fun to watch but the punishment these guys ( and also women) receive is brutal.
@@TheSportsPROgram your right, I was only referring to the low kicks and also assuming it doesn’t hit the knee. They definitely get brain damage long term and bad injuries I’ve gotten concussions and seen stars just from sparring amateurs I think I would litterly be killed in the octagon
I have trained in martial arts for 40 years. Lots of bruises and bumps along the way-but MMA/UFC is at a different level. These fighters are getting serious injuries. Long term we will see dementia, arthritis, visual loss, auditory damage and premature death. I find it interesting to watch but would never have taken this level of risk. I admire these fighters- but it’s a brutal sport.
@@samsonpug If football players and boxers have long term injuries ...I feel sorry for these fighters.
