I did a Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Speedrun in under 20 hours. Did my best to do a "speedrun explained" type thing of the 100% Speedrun.

  • I always find it entertaining that botw speedrunners can break the game enough to literally manipulate their inventory and get illegal weapons, yet the Great Plateau is still mandatory

    • I think there is a way to skip plateau, but it requires another file to do a hard glitch in and a lot of time, and it also took years to find. So not usable in speedruns.

    • Is the automatic void-out even understood yet? One theory ive heard is that the game checks your coordinates every few seconds, if your coordinates are outside of a “box” that surrounds the great plateau, you get voided out, and this box is removed when you get the paraglider.

      @ddgaxelnilsson7855@ddgaxelnilsson7855 Жыл бұрын
    • @@ddgaxelnilsson7855 kinda. The game has a few conditions it checks. If you don't have the paraglider outside of the plateau then it will void you out. I'm not sure what the others are but smant has shown off some things that manipulate this in his no sheikah slate run.

    • A couch, also known as a sofa, settee, or chesterfield, is a cushioned item of furniture for seating multiple people. It is commonly found in the form of a bench with upholstered armrests and is often fitted with springs and tailored cushion and pillows. Typical loveseat dimensions are around 58 inches wide, up to 38 inches in depth, and around 34 inches high. Those extra few inches less in typical sofa sizes make all the difference for smaller living spaces. Usually, a standard sofa will average about 86 inches in length and have three seat cushions. For a coffee table in front of the sofa, make sure to allow 12 to 18 inches in between for legroom.

Or if you were talking about the shrine cutscene glitch, it's only a trick to save loading time. Apparently if you skip the cutscene too soon while talking to the monk, it will reload the overworld unnecessarily. It's arguably a bug, not a game breaking one, but it does make you wait on the loading screen a tiny bit more and is a bit annoying. From what Smant's saying, if you wait the right amount while talking to the monk before pressing X, it will indeed save you some loading time.

    • JESUS CHRIST ALONE DIED FOR YOUR SINS & WAS RESURRECTED FROM THE GRAVE! HE IS ALIVE & COMING BACK ANY DAY WITH JUDGEMENT (THESE ARE END DAYS)! THINGS ARE GETTING WORSE AND THE ONLY WAY HE CAN WAKE PEOPLE UP IS TO TAKE AWAY EVERY CORRUPT THING WE PUT OUR HOPE IN. IF YOU PUT YOUR FAITH IN ANYTHING OF THIS WORLD OR MAN YOU WILL PERISH WITH THIS WORLD AND CORRUPT MAN. THERE IS 1 GOD & HE IS EVERLASTING, CREATOR OF ALL. WORSHIP HIM, NOT HIS CREATION! SERVE HIM, NOT YOURSELVES OR THIS WORLD! TIME IS ALMOST UP! PREPARE YOURSELVES, TURN FROM SIN & RUN TO JESUS! HE KNOWS YOUR PAIN & TROUBLES, HE WANTS TO HEAL & RESTORE YOU! CONFESS YOUR SINS TO HIM, ASK HIM TO FORGIVE YOU! HE LONGS FOR YOU TO INVITE HIM INTO YOUR HEART & LIFE, HE LOVES YOU MORE THAN ANY PERSON EVER COULD, HE CREATED YOU! Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."-John 14:6 "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."-Matthew 10:33 “For the wages of sin is death (hell), but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”-Romans 6:23

Obviously I didn’t know the speed running tricks and broke like 5 shields because I thought that was how to do it. You can imagine my frustration when I got reminded of that puzzle after having completely forgotten it and seeing you complete it while getting 3 other korok seeds I didn’t even know about at the same time.

    • @@Egg_Ming_Gaa it's mostly diagnostic sensationalism (but is also jokingly memed about). As someone who has an autistic diagnosis myself and have known many people on the spectrum.. I can assure you the "hyperfixation" is mostly a myth (in the sense of it being portrayed as a distinct "ability") Autistic people tend to have very narrow interests due to being less socialized, resulting in a lack of "flexibility" and adopting new interests. This in turn might create the illusion of "hyperfixation". It has nothing to do about the actual ability to focus or stay focused, but rather the lack of diversity in personal interests, which manifests into very "one note" lifestyles that from an outside perspective might appear as if they have some sort of "superfocus" or fixation.

      @merlith4650@merlith46509 ай бұрын

      @itsentdev@itsentdev9 ай бұрын
    • @@itsentdev are you replying to me or someone else? because that is essentially what i said. my point being that the ability of being able to "focus better" stems more from the fact that one has specific and limited interests, but not necessarily some distinct "special ability" to focus better than other humans (which alot of sensationalist media might sell it as).

My mind was blown when I learned you could interact with the graph screen!!~ I ended up making a silly little game kinda like snake where ya had to avoid crossing over your own line as ya went from one point to another and called it line thing. It was fun to fiddle with- though I struggled with the meaning of soh cah toa for the longest time until I wanted to try and make circles bounce off one another in a Java programming class later. Hell, the 98/99 of 100 questions feels similar too. I was constantly a bit different - for better and worse - when it came to various things due to mental stuff that was understood very little at the time (ADHD, Autism, etc) I was always the kid that would try to ask questions about things for the better of others - and in a lotta cases I was simply oblivious to how various things normally are. Hell, I’d bring snacks like goldfish n’ “Jesus pretzels” (butter snaps nicknamed because they tasted divine). Despite fights breaking out seemingly almost daily, I was just kinda vibing throughout with zero enemies ahahah But ye - regardless of whether smant’s stories are ultimately true or false, I think they’re surprisingly believable :o
