The color highlights are flipped with the grey parts, so what ever was grey originally is now where you see the color, while what was color before is now silver.

Am I the only one that felt that the building laser/light/protoss force field/ shiny thing whatever effects should have been red for the forged buildings instead of the regular animations blue ? ( It could remain blue while warping , but like when the building finishes)

@@benderbendingrodriguez6375 well, Diablo Immortal was presented like something big, hype was going, and then it failed because blizzard wasted all of their efforts for something their fanbase would never like. But warchest was presented as thing to support e-sports, and recycled skins were just as an addition. Also i dont play WoW, but 30 dollar mount doesn't sound to have any more purpose than getting money.
The problem is: Can we get past warchests? I couldn't afford to buy the Simulant Zerg skins... will it come back around?
@@SebineLifeWind You can usually buy warchest skins separately for like $20 after the event is over. That's how it's been for all the other skin packs.

I'm a Protoss fanboy and this'll probably be the last war chest I buy now that I'll be able to equip a full set of Forged skins. It's a pity that there's no word of a Forged console coming with this though since the only unique console we have is the Purifier one. I didn't even bother playing Zeratul in coop since I've already had my fill of that mode over the last few years. Hopefully WC3 Reforged can fill the RTS hole in my life when it's released and won't be mostly forgotten like SC Remastered was.

Yeah, with XP, but its pretty easy if you play at least a couple games in a week. Use all of the first win of the day bonuses, and it'll be a piece of cake.

True, but I think that it goes pretty well with the Tal'Darim skins too. Two different versions of 'races' in the StarCraft campaign. I have no idea where they came up with the Simulant skins tho.

You can. The Twitch aspect is just another way to earn EXP to unlock everything. You can still earn exp through simply playing the game.

@Aver Raiher I play Terran as well on the ladder, and I actually like them. It's probably because Nova is one of my favorite commanders in Co-op and she has these building skins. :) Just a matter of opinion.

I still think that taking a few building skins from coop, putting into another game mode and charging 10 euro for it, is questionable thing to do. I bought every game from Blizzard since Warcraft 2 except Diablo 3. I love StarCraft 2 and I want to support it, but I feel like with each new DLC they release, they offer less and less value for the same price. I know that Activision is giving them hard time, but come on, put at least some effort into it.

You need to buy the warchest, watch twitch to get xp faster to unlock more skins
You can put stream (muted) on background and claim 50k XP every 30 minutes, while playing sc2 and getting exp
Easiest way I think is to just win 1 game with every race every day for the 100k xp bonus. If you just rush an very easy ai that takes no time at all

the skins are way too expensive. you have to spend like 100 bucks to have a certain skin type for all of your units/ buildings.
But can you play it on a phone?
You can watch the videos on a phone, but you can't play StarCraft 2 on a phone, which is a good thing in many respects. Mostly because the controls on a phone would STINK for StarCraft.
I have have the collector's edition of all 3 StarCraft 2 games. I am not spending more money, Activision.
Note: to the right, in my suggested videos feed is Civilization 6: Gathering Storm, Inca gameplay. I will be spending money on that expansion. Do with this information what you will, Blizzard.

I wish Blizzard supported SC2 in a non-lootbox/microtransaction kind of way. Yeah, yeah, I know, SC2 isn't as super popular but they did say at one point that skins were not going to be included in case players weren't able to identify enemy units etc.

@@rawand6344 no I'm glad they did. As much as I love starcraft it had a satisfying ending and should be put aside for new projects. It was the most popular RTS and one of the most popular games for a very long time. Wow should've been put to rest alongside starcraft. Blizzard just needs to make a new RTS IP.

I think that these micro-transactions are fine, as they keep the game afloat. Plus, if people can't recognize the units because of the skins, it is because they haven't been playing/watching long at all.

Except these aren't lootboxes at all. You buy the thing, you get a progression meter, fill meter by playing Versus or Co-op, get skins. No RNG gambling bullshit involved.
Dude they aren't lootboxes... You pay for the skins, you get the skins. simple as that. (except for the fact 1/3 of it gets unlocked at a time which is mildly annoying reeeee but not the biggest deal) other than that I'm fine playing to unlock them
