Awesome and useful video, just like all of yours. Thanks for sharing your vast knowledge👍🏻!!
great workmate. Sharp combinations.
Need to give these a go. Thanks coach
Perhaps you could do a video on the 'buttons' or sweet spots, vulnerable places that if hit correctly results in the desired outcome. I was taught that the body has two 'buttons': The liver, and the solar plexus. Additionally, hitting someone just above the hip joint in the soft tissue can be very painful, and have seen Naoya Inoue use that shot to great effect. The 'buttons' on the head are the chin, the temple, and behind the ear. An accurate and heavy shot to the chin will almost always result in an opponent being buzzed if not knocked down; the temple and behind the ear typically results in discombobulation, dizzyness, 'chicken legs' etc. Cheers
Great video!! I just subbed and looking forward more of these!
Great stuff, Tony. Already use the Double Jab, Right Cross, Left Hook to the body. I usually preface it with a left Front Kick. Thanks for recommending adding the Left Hook to the head and Right Uppercut to the body. This is my new 7 technique combination courtesy of TJ!

Awesome video, Tony. I train Mixed Martial Arts and the videos you put out are so useful for my footwork and combinations to add to my arsenal. Is it possible you could do a video based on advice in regards to strength and conditioning, what exercises to do and how it relates to boxing? Cheers. Keep up with the videos.
Thanks mate, I’ll do a video on that 👍🏼
@@Tony_Jeffries Sound. You watching the Lemchenko fight this weekend?
I gotta play your videos in slow motion lol...you're quick
Honestly, I feel you probably could've beat GGG in your prime years.
Haha nah I don’t think so
GGG in middleweight is unbeatable, now is old but in his prime was scary as fuck
even old ggg is near unstoppable
This lad is great put triple g was simply not human in his prime. Shit was scary
Always amazing content. Ty! My favorite jab cross hook to the body:) naturally flows with power. I’m gunna add the extra jab and extra hook if they block. Ty!

Very nice Tony Jeffries i also following you 💪🏿💪🏿

Another idea I thought might be useful Tony is showing people how to control their power when sparring; what are some tips you have for sparring? Do you advocate wearing headgear and 16 0z gloves? I use to spar a number of different ways at my old gym. Sometimes two guys would attack you at once, forcing you to react and move more quickly, other times one opponent would attack whilst the other would defend and vice versa - there are lots of ways one can be creative during sparring. I always wore a gumshield or mouthguard as a minimum, and emphasised to whomever I was sparring with that shots to the body could be slightly harder than the head, but that overall the goal was to refine technique and not to try and damage people or knock them out. Typically there were four levels: touch sparring, light, medium and of course full contact. I'd be keen to hear and see what you believe is helpful. Cheers
I'll add this to my list mate , turn your notifications on so you don’t miss it”
I will use this to teach some of my boxers today...coz one of em is having a light spur tumorrow
i love all training coach
Love your videos would love to see or hear a bit more on your footwork with these combinations.
Thanks mate, I’ll do more on that

Great videos! Greetings from Guatemala
Hello, and thank you

Great idea mate, I’ll add to list
Like your videos very much, best regards from germany. I just started boxing, I am very tall and I still try to find my style. Maybe you can make a video about how to fight and which level of agrgession I should apply
Thank u, means a lot
nice vid bro. could you talk about juan manuel marquez combinations?
Yes mate I’ll add it to list
Hey Tony. I just started punching heavy bags this month as part of my cardio. I watched your videos and followed your tips. And surprisingly someone asked me to spar with him. I politley declined,he said he thought I am fighter because he said my punches, combinations and footwork are movements of a legit fighter. 😅😅😅
Did you ever start sparring? It's fun!
Someone:There is no one in youtube who shares some good and perfect boxing tutorials Tony jeffris: Hold my gloves

Can you do a hook to the liver at a short distance¿? If someone can answer my question
Great content as usual. Unfortunately my gym is still closed because the C virus.
Thank u, my gym is too mate
Sir, May I ask how do you fight moving backwards, care to give some principles of an offensive retreat eh?
You take one step back and strike while going backwards. This is useful if the opponent charges towards you. You can also take diagonal steps to get out the way and pivot to face your opponent and counter attack.
@@mtxh9572 Why thanks good sir, I really appreciate your help
Makes me excited to box
Great, u should
Nice! Can only do bags at the gym - what ounce gloves are best for bag work?
Bag gloves 😉
@@mennoverzijl6857 I'm using 16oz gloves - they ok or would 12oz be better?
12oz or 14oz is good enough. if you are a beginner it is advisable to use regular boxing gloves because they protect your thumb better. The disadvantage is that your filling will break more quickly.
@@mennoverzijl6857 Thanks mate, I was doing these pad and sparring classes for the last 2-3 years but then lockdown, so all I've got is the bag. Had been using 16oz twins as good all rounder but was thinking they might be too big for regular bag work. Think I will get some 12 oz - cheers
you're welcome, stay strong !! 💪🏻🥊
I'm dropping guys because of you, this is insane!
That’s awesome, Thank you 🙏🏼
those combo are nasty
Why do you think they are nasty?
Lol I guess I'm back 4 months later. Now I'm trying to work out how much I need to pivot my hips, and feet on those fast body hooks in combo 2.
