An athletic director at a Maryland high school is being accused of framing a Baltimore principal using AI-generated audio. The man was charged with disrupting school activities after allegedly spreading offensive AI audio on social media.

He also was not going to have his contract renewed for the next school year. That was why he did the fake audio, to take revenge on the principal. The principal is most certainly innocent. Perhaps you should've read the entire story to find this out instead of launching this screed against an innocent man and defending the one charged with a crime.

@kairi4640 Needing even more technology to fact check technology seems like a very destructive cycle. I don't think we have fully grasped how dangerous AI can be and with no regulation, it's a free for all right now. By the time the laws catches up, who knows how bad things would have gotten

Of all of the things that AI can and will be able to do…it’s this kind of $h¡+ that’s the most concerning. The man who initiated all of this stupidity needs to find himself shackled to a very long list of crimes and made to face the harshest of consequences. Even when vindicated, this is the kind of thing that will follow a person for the rest of their lives because the falsity of a claim typically speaks louder than the truth.
This is terrifying. We tiptoe around what we post on our social media accounts because we know that the things we post as "half private" are never private and can be broughg up against you in your workplace or for any reason. Now, things that you DIDN'T say can be used against you.
Half the stuff on KZhead and other Social Media Platforms are A.I. Generated. First Clue, Narration without a human presence. Second, the Mechanical Voice most noticeable by way of pronunciations.

We are now in the world many of us feared.. and now people understand why so many of us fought against things like Facebook users who would post pictures without our permission and how there are cameras everywhere recording our faces, etc., etc. Yes he was a public person but MOST of us aren't, yet we can ALL be easily impersonated because of the massive technology involved in our everyday lives. There NEEDS to be more legislation to protect us.
Needing permission to record someone in public is a double-edged sword. If I record someone committing a crime, would I also be charged for recording them without their permission?
@@BrandonGonzalez-zd7tu absolutely, we aren't here to be proxy agents of law enforcement. It's supposed to be hard to get prosecuted unless the severity of the crime leads to sufficient evidence. That's why lawyers defend known-offenders. But today people have drones that can follow us and report us for the smallest misdemeanor. The scale is tipped so far to the left now that we see tons of cases of "crimes with no victims" being prosecuted every day.

Imagine what that gentleman and his family had to endure just because someone thought they had to make some sick point. This says alleged, "which means to declare in or as if in a court of law; state without or before proof." There is no proof, and I have written articles which the ai says it's 20 % Ai when I have not used any. He did not admit if he did. I have done Ai voice which says it has Ai in it, which was not true as well. The principal was able to find a lawyer that was able to shed a benefit of the doubt, because as of right now, you can test right now, SOME programs will say it's an Ai voice even when not. And if some then that's doubt. It has to say it's 100% human. Then the dude has a nerve in the other Video to say he should have been smarter. Concerning the alleged suspect. I doubt this so called suspect will have time to do this, he had heard this and recorded it and that's it, unless he comes out In say it some might say. It's just alledge- accused but not yet proven or convicted.. he is all over the news like he is guilty. Till he admits it, or another witness confirms it, or admits to helping, they will need his computer, his ip address which can help with any apps or history to support the principal case. I am not siding with either truly till all matters are presented.
