Razer Wants HOW MUCH for this Keyboard!?

After launching some of the best gaming keyboards like the Huntsman and mice like the Viper, Razer is now launching a wireless 65% gaming keyboard. The Blackwidow V3 Mini Hyperspeed looks great but after using it for a while, I'm not sure this gaming keyboard is priced competitively for what's being offered.

  • For 180 dollars I expect it to have snake oil lubed switches and keycaps from blackwidow exoskeleton

  • I am using the BlackWidow v3, and it is really fantastic. Especially love the switches as well as the sturdy build & design. What´s annoying is the finish of the metal, like Dimitri mentioned, it gets gross very fast and needs to be cleaned all the time. Additionally pricing is just 30% to high. But still love it, multi device over 2.4 Ghz and BT is also a huge plus for me. Thanks for the video!

  • You can't say "I'm disappointed they don't have this feature at this price point but glad because if they did it would've been even more expensive." The reason you're disappointed it's not there at that price point is because that price typically covers the cost of that feature. What is making this keyboard worth MSRP given that it doesn't have this feature? If you can't answer that, call them out for it. In another review I heard they wanted to offer multiple languages and that would've ramped up the cost of ABS but they also said they're working on ABS keycaps to sell for their own products and that seems like a much more likely reason they didn't include them here. That said, doubleshot is pretty good and standard for their keycaps generally so they have that defense.

  • $180 is a ridiculous price. I can get the following 65% KB for roughly $60. All hot-swappable.

  • Dimitri my man, can you do a video on the Hyperx alloy origins core? Heard so many good things from other keyboard reviewers, but I need your opinion, since I value it the most out of all, when it comes to keyboards. Great Video as always!

  • Would like to see 65% Huntsman, I can make do without wireless if optical switches are available. They did a lot right with this keyboard, only if it were cheaper. If I don’t see another version come soon I’ll probably buy this in a sale.

  • Bro thank you for pointing out the rgb issue when riding the orochi dongle, I thought I was doing something wrong. I guess I’ll just use both dongles until they fix this

  • For that price, there is no reason the keyboard shouldn’t have a knob. Insanely expensive for no reason

  • I used to love Razer products up to a few years ago-between the cost, driver issues, Synapse, and the constant background traffic to their mothership (what are they sending back home anyway?) I'm done with them. Still using a few of their parts but I ripped out their software and just go generic...it's not worth the hassle.
